Chico's don't do what they say they are going to do. Communication problems within staff and with customers. We placed an order gave all information including credit card details and two weeks later they tell us the order was canceled no explanation or notification. We are very disappointed and
Hesitant to order again! Good luck!
Read the business' reviews before shopping and believe the reviews they are real life experiences (nightmares)
I bought a shirt online expecting it to be high quality like other Chico's purchases. I have washed it twice and the material is starting to get holes in it like a cheap shirt. I am very disappointed because Chico's has been my go-to place for at least 5 years. No more!
Received 2 of their standard tank tops from my daughter as a gift. I decided these were not my colors and just wanted to exchange for a different color. They would not allow me to exchange them for a different color, even with tags attached, but no receipt. They said they needed the phone number they were purchased under (I think they had the wrong number for my daughter in their system because they could not find it). So, no exchange. This is crazy. Lost my business for ever!
Once you know your size Chicos sizing is pretty consistent Clothes are fairly high priced but they have many wonderful sales that make their prices good my big negative is that they charge $7.00 for returns by mail most websites are free also, it takes about 10 days for a return to go from MD to GA and a refund credited. Thinking twice about buying there again
I've purchased from Chico's for several years. At first, the workmanship started sliding downhill. Now, the fabric is disgusting quality. After a couple of washings the expensive tops look several years old and are ready to replace. This will be the last year I shop for my summer clothes at Chicos. Look ladies out there... you agree so tell them about it or let them go under. They are ripping us off so complain about it. Even with their so called special sales take a good look at what you really pay for cheap clothing. I mentioned it in the store to a salesperson and she shrugged her shoulders in agreement. Take your hard earned money elsewhere and buy better clothing! Only rated a one because they did not offer a zero!
Chicos store at our mall closed which was really good the manager was a beast, very rude when you returned a item. Now Chicos have poor quality fabric at a high price. Your head have gotten to big, no more sales 20% or 40% off. Too much print patterns all over the place, we don't need a large Eagle print across our chest. Botton line your clothes seem very cheap now so I carefully look at the item to see what it's made out of and if it will hold up from a couple washings before buying. Chicos please bring back sales again … don't out price yourself every top now cost $99 when they do send you a coupon which is rarely it used to be $20 off $100 so you will have to spend way over a hundred to use the coupon. We customers are watching you Chicos.
In the three most recent encounters with Chico's in-store staff, I found them belligerent and under-trained on their own computer systems. They didn't know how to locate the profile of a longstanding customer or how to process a return.

The photos on the site seem to be overly-enhanced since I tend to get products with colour differing prominently from that in the photos. The quality of products seems varied too, although they seem to be quite good on the whole.
Shipping is REALLY slow! And their product specifications are scanty.
Maybe I'll still visit Chico's since I quite like their products. Prices also seem to fluctuate based on reviews given...
I used to shop in Chicos all the time, still do stop in, but now don't often purchase.
Reason why is quality and style. I still own many wonderful older items from chicos, such as my long suede shirts and wide fashion leather belts.
Chicos is now making too many print designs, which I deplore, and I am not loving the material they are using.
I have noticed since Covid that your catalog lacks diversity of races. Because of this, many clothes featured are not complimentary to light skinned people. I would like to see the white race come back into your catalogs, otherwise I will start looking else where. No I'm not a bigot, this is the truth...!
Answer: I'm not sure what Chico items you are talking about, but the majority are made with a material that easily washes and doesn't need ironing. In fact, you can pack a lot of their clothes and take them right out of the suitcase and wear. Maybe you are not buying the correct tops that go with your body. I would suggest when you go in the store is ask for assistance. They have shoppers for their customers that coordinate outfits and can pick out clothes that will look amazing on your body. Try that and then see how you feel about their clothes. I know I sound like I work for them, but I don't. I'm just a frequent customer that loves their clothes and sales and what their clothes do to my body.
Answer: Its pretty easy. Just call. But sometimes you will be on hold for awhile.
Answer: The fit seemed good until I wore them once. They stretched out so much and so fast that I was pulling them up all day. It was so uncomfortable and I contacted them to see if I could exchange or get a credit and they would not do it.
