This company provides very stylish clothing to the "older" group of women who don't want to succumb to old lady clothing. They have great sales and that is when I do my shopping.
I ordered several items on Nov. 30 for a Christmas gift that needed to be mailed by me in order to reach the receiver before Christmas. I realize that we have problems because of the virus... but, Chico's has had several months to prepare for Christmas, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It has taken phone calls and countless emails to even get a response, and when I did, it was days later... or not at all. The only email I received in a timely fashion is when I contacted a localChico's and asked for help. It has now been over three weeks... eight days till Christmas... and the packages are still sitting in some fantasy warehouse to be picked up. Two got tracking numbers 4 days ago... still no one can give me an answer.
This is just poor customer service, organization, and management. I have ordered from many major companies during the past 6 weeks... including Macy's, EBay, Amazon, Ralph Lauren, J Crew, Gap, Horchow, Belk, and many more. All Arrived in a timely fashion considering the slowing of delivery services, but not Chico's. I am sick I made these purchases and will return them when they arrive and NEVER buy from Chico's again. Trust me. I am not by myself. I have communicated with many on other websites that have or are now having the same experience.

Never pay cash at Chico's. You will not get your money back in a timely fashion. Their policy is not to have a lot of cash in their stores. Very inconvenient for the customer!
Shop somewhere else!
I placed an order that said it was processing for about 20 minutes and then they decided to cancel it! For no reason! So now I have no food very upsetting can't believe it
Recently, Chico's has switched to USPS for their Roadrunner orders, resulting in items
being lost. When contacted about this problem, Chico's customer service simply DOES NOT CARE! This means that you DO NOT RECEIVE the item but they have CHARGED YOUR CREDIT CARD ANYWAY. There is no way to figure out what happened to your shipment. And you must wait a month to get a refund for items that were never shipped or delivered. I simply cannot take that sort of frustration or risk, with my money tied up for nothing! So I say to Chico's: "BYEBYE!"
I wanted to drop a note about the service I received last Friday. My daughter and I stopped in to check what is on the racks and wanted to cash in a gift card. My usual helper is a Russian lady - while she may be pushy, she always remembers my preferences and size. Unfortunately, she was not in at that time. I am not sure if the lady who seemed to rule and owned the store - checked my points. The first time she ran my debit card, it was rejected. I double-checked with my bank and resolved any issue that was preventing the transaction. The next 10 minutes were spent while we tried to show her the validity of the transaction and availability of the funds - I guess because we were close to her closing time, she was not interested. She was demeaning to both of us and to the other lady who worked in the store. I don't care what her position is. Although my bank account was credited and the transaction was reversed - her salesmanship has simply confirmed that I need to shop when Vera is working or just take my business to another location. And the entire My Closet: Don't get me started on that mess! I don't know who's closet that is - But I have proof of my past purchases and it is none of that garbage. SAD! My review dates 12/21/18 still apply- So... They do not care and after almost 4 years - I should have stuck to my original decision and go somewhere else.
Saw an add on Facebook and ordered several bathing suits, which I never received. I asked, several times for a refund and just got the run around. Still don't have the suits or my refund..
My order came 8 days earlier than it is scheduled and I am so happy because it is a gift for my mom who is leaving in 3 days. I really appreciate not having to wait for a long time for the order.
I never write reviews and I don't like to give negative ones but after several complaints and ruining my top yesterday I am doing so. I have reviewed the tops before mentioning the scratch labels on many of the tops and how impossible it is to remove them without the chance of ruining the fabric. Yesterday I hit the wall. I was in a hurry to leave and put on a new ombré blue top just recently purchased. As usual the scratchy made it impossible to wear. I cut out the top as much as I could but left with just enough to make my neck itch. I made an attempt to cut off the leftover label and tore the fabric. Called customer service and had a very polite person tell me that I couldn't return or get credit for an "altered" product. Hopefully it doesn't get this person in trouble but she told me she has the same problem and cuts hers out. I couldn't even get a courtesy refund of the sales price I paid for it since it was now mysteriously not on sale. Been a Chico's customer for over 20 years. Never without an order usually. Now I will be. It can't be rocket science to get a different fabric for the label. Come on!

On hold over 35 min and still waiting to ask for price adjustment. Ordered a dress, not here yet, dress went on sale and need adjustment to sale price. I think the 888 number is a hoax.
You would think that I would learn, three times consistantly they say you will receive in 5 to 7 business days and three weeks later nothing. Don't buy with expectations of recieving on time... NOT HAPPENING, AND PANDEMIC HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.
Horrible experience ordering Christmas gifts for my mom. Spent hours online trying to get items gift boxed w gift messages, system wouldn't save and I had to keep doing the order over. Online chats were not helpful solving the problem. Eventually got the order placed, then Chico's overcharged me for the gift boxes. Spent another hour online trying to get that fixed. Days later, got an email saying the order wouldn't arrive until after Christmas. Spent yet another hour on the phone w customer service trying to solve that problem. Good news is items have arrived -- BUT NOT 1 of the 6 items is gift boxed! I spent all that time (and was overcharged) for a gift boxing service (G-d forbid they could actually wrap something for $7 an item!) in order for my father to not have to wrap presents because of his severe arthritis. Spent another hour w customer service on the phone for them to say they could refund me the charge for gift boxing. Well, duh, you can't charge me for something I never got. What are you going to do for all my aggravation? Put on hold again for ages - to get 20% off a FUTURE ORDER?! Are you kidding me? Why would I ever order from Chico's.com again? I would give them a 0 if I could.
Me and my friend( both of us are mexicans) wanted to make a clothing brand since we were little kids so when we tiny our parenst gave us dreams telling us the name ´chicos´ they alwasy wanted that name when they were in mexcio but they were poor. So me and my friend spent out childhood and teens on this brand but we never know it was taken by WHITE PEOPLE so when we finally checked we saw it was taken and we were heartbroekn and cried alot
I wish I had read all these bad reviews before I purchased. I ordered a pretty eyelet dress in my normal size 12. It was insanely huge, I downsized and ordered a 10, still huge. I ordered a beautiful black dress in my normal size, 12, also huge but I kept it and will have it taken in since I really like it. Everything was on sale, shipped back the 2 eyelet dresses 12 days ago and heard nothing. I had to call Chicos today to make sure they received both boxes, no alerts, nothing. Then I was told I had to wait until it got to the warehouse a couple days and then another 7 to 10 days which is crazy. The customer service rep was patient and helpful so appreciated that but I was not happy. Now miraculously I have a refund issued the same day which should be in my account tomorrow I hope. But from $67.49 I am only receiving $56.24. Still waiting for the other refund. The lack of communication, being charged over $11 for this return and having to play detective to find out about my refund is really bad customer service. Ive been in luxury retail, I've had my own design business and store, and never treated customers this way. When Ive returned online purchases, usually because of sizing, the vendor acknowledges receipt and does the refund promptly. So now once all is done, I've lost almost $23 in a very unpleasant shopping experience. I will never shop with Chicos or any of its sister stores again. And I will be filing complaints with other bureaus about this company. By the way every day I am inundated with texts, emails daily from Chicos, its nonstop. They bombard you to get your business and then its screw you. Really bad customer service. I'm unsubscribing to all asap

Return not credited for 4-6 weeks and don't know if it will be credited then. Will never order from this store again!
I paid extra to get expedited shipping and it still took a week to receive! Online shipping is way too slow!
I have been a loyal customer of Chico's for well over 10 years, spending $3-5K/year, bringing friends and family to the Asheville store when they visit. Despite my loyalty, I just experienced the worst customer service both at the Asheville, NC store and the 1-800 customer service line. I had four items out of a $750 order that were a final sale when they arrived, two were not as depicted in colour or style as shown online. I took them to the store, and the manager was very "curt" with me about a final sale, giving me the phone number to call customer service. I followed up with customer service, and they said it was not returnable. I will never shop Chico's again, and I told CS that, her comment was "I will note that on your account." Guess I have to prove it.

Answer: I'm not sure what Chico items you are talking about, but the majority are made with a material that easily washes and doesn't need ironing. In fact, you can pack a lot of their clothes and take them right out of the suitcase and wear. Maybe you are not buying the correct tops that go with your body. I would suggest when you go in the store is ask for assistance. They have shoppers for their customers that coordinate outfits and can pick out clothes that will look amazing on your body. Try that and then see how you feel about their clothes. I know I sound like I work for them, but I don't. I'm just a frequent customer that loves their clothes and sales and what their clothes do to my body.
Answer: Its pretty easy. Just call. But sometimes you will be on hold for awhile.
Answer: The fit seemed good until I wore them once. They stretched out so much and so fast that I was pulling them up all day. It was so uncomfortable and I contacted them to see if I could exchange or get a credit and they would not do it.
