Everything was excellent except for the performance of the "delivery service UPS". This caused almost a 2 week delay. No communication from UPS only unsatisfactory reactions to my calls and emails. The watch arrived in perfect condition... eventually. The seller and Chrono24 were very helpful.
Every body knows that Money spins the world and it's all about the Money. Hence, Chrono24, should exercise more authority and honesty, in dealing with people/parties. You should also know all the laws of international business, rates, fees and duties/taxes. Enlighten the dark and unknown spots of the deal so buyers are better informed, before purchases. This May break some deals, BUT, it will grow your Character and sincerity immensely in public's review
Though I'd rather be visiting the places some of these watches are from, Chrono24 makes it easy to explore and obtain watches of all reputable makes. Also, being able to find things within my budget, is a simple. I'm on watch number 3 with zero complaints.
Sellers beware!
I have sold many watches on Chrono24 as a private seller, but the last transaction from October 2022 has been a nightmare. With my account in good standing, the same bank account info, and a happy buyer who gladly authorized payout, they are claiming they are having "errors" sending my payout of approx. US$2,600.
I have lost all faith in the platform and removed all other listings. Beware private sellers, they will provide only generic, canned email updates when requesting help with the matter, and their phone support (Angela) couldn't care less about working with you to get you paid, insisting they can only pay via wire transfer and refusing to provide alternatives.
I am now out of the watch and the funds. A very sad turn of events for what was once a great company.
Have purchased two Rolex watches on Chrono24 and both have been fantastic experiences. Two different vendors, but both provided great service and extremely prompt delivery. Chrono24's escrow payment service really put me at ease in going forward with these high dollar transactions. Will definitely be coming back for my future watch purchases.

Both buying and selling have been really smooth on this site and the security means I have not come across any scammers yet, unlike eBay which riddled with them. Most seem to have genuine knowledge of watches and again unlike ebay sell and by watches that are not knackered or at least if they are it is spelt out. A serious site for enthusiasts, dealers and collectors in a league well above ebay. Use in absolute confidence as it is run very efficiently and safely by folk who know what they are doing and indeed who are contactable should you need. Can't speak highly enough, strongly recommended.
Overall I'd say good experience. The purchasing / selling fees are a bit on the high side. And I understand business is in place to generate REV, but especially during these times would be nice to incur lower fees.
These guys helped me through the secure payment process for large purchase. Just be patient and reach out to them if you have issues. They went above and beyond to get me taken care of. Highly recommend Chrono24!
I had to get in touch with customer service, who have ridiculous phone hours and email response times of >3 days. What´s worse, they were not helpful and did not get back to until pressed them 3 times. Don´t let them fool you with information on the site. They charge a ridiculous 2% fee on Amex, which you will only see at the very last step of check-out. Not recommended. There is another player which is far more professional.
Finally, privacy is not valued. Even though I asked for deleting my data I keep getting numerous eMails from them and "partners", the latter having my full name and tx details!

Buying watches online is not for the faint of heart. It creates a lot of anxiety. Thankfully, Chorno24 has systems in place that help the buyer to understand the process better and to buy with confidence. I am a returning customer; this is my second time buying here, and there will be a third.
Tons of listings. The escrow service makes sending money to someone much safer, and it helps guarantee you get the real watch you paid for. If I'm buying any more watches it would probably be from here.
Purchased a brand new Zenith watch from an excellent dealer based in Spain. No issues whatsoever and it was a very smooth transaction. Prices are competitive but it is important to open a good line of communication with any potential seller so as to be confident that there will be no problems. Highly recommended and hope to use again.
I never had a worse transaction. I purchased 3 watches from Chrono24.
Two of the three watches were not as advertised.
One watch was completely defective, as it had a hole in the side of the case.
The second watch didn't come with the papers that was listed in the description. I'm not even certain if this watch is authentic.
Just 2 or 3 days after purchasing I started jumping through Chrono24's hoops for a whole month! They concluded that will not take the watches back. Chrono24 and their support team was no help and is beyond $#*!ty. After working with AMEX I received my money back with no help from Chrono24. I will never use this platform again, and I hope they go bankrupt for their dishonest sales practice and bad business.

Should anybody consider purchasing a rather expensive timepiece via the cyberspace, Chrono24 is the best way.
Chrono24 did not mention that a 3% foreign transaction fee will be added if using VISA. It was mentioned when selecting American Express during payment process.
Also, once a buyer as accepted the offer, the price should be locked in and should not be changed based on currency exchange fluctuation.

As we charge our US Clients in USD we rarely are informed of any foreign transaction fees of this type and are forced to assume that they stem from the buyer's agreement with their bank in terms of credit card usage which is beyond our power to control.
Since we have a German bank, your bank is charging the fee. Chrono24 does not have the power to charge additional fees this way. We provide messaging on the payment page that "Additional fees may apply for card payments from non-EU countries".
We recommend contacting your bank to confirm this and requesting for them to waive their fee if this was something you were not aware of in your card usage agreement with them.
In regards to the fluctuating price, when placing an order, the system will show you the original item price, the price of the item after the conversion (using the conversion rate applied by our payment service provider), and any other taxes that might be incurred.
The exchange rate used by the payment service provider is a maximum of 2.5% above the price set by the European Central Bank (ECB). In addition to standard exchange fees, this difference also includes the costs of transferring the money; for example, between Europe and North America.
We completely understand if a buyer decides not to buy a watch as a result of these costs. In this case, a short message to us is sufficient.

This was my third purchase through Chrono24 that like the 2 prior ones, went through smoothly and efficiently. I really enjoy the peace of mind that Chrono24 secures your funds in escrow until delivery and purchase satisfaction and confirmed. The dealer vetting process seems to be very effective, since every dealer on Chrono24 that I have dealt with has been very professional, accurate and timely.
I also love how Chrono24 keeps a registry of your watches and keeps you informed of each watch's value history.
The only improvement I can suggest is providing an authentication service in the United States, or even better - to authenticate each watch as part of the purchase process.
