I've never purchased a watch online, nor have I ever purchased anything from overseas. I'm not a watch collector and I was only looking for a simple replacement for a watch I'd purchased many years ago. Other than jumping through all of the hoops, including signing up and getting asked to complete reviews (like this one), I was kept informed of the progress of the shipping. Further, the watch was delivered to me well packaged and in excellent condition.
I would use them again.
First time I've ordered a watch from Chrono24 and I must say a very good experience. The choice and options from the worldwide network of dealers is excellent as are the prices. In many cases the cost is much less than a second hand watch from UK sources. The Escrow payment system offers another layer of security especially if you are a first time buyer of an expensive watch from overseas. I will be using Chrono24 for my next watch purchase and can thoroughly recommend this company.
The incorrect was sent first. Totally different model than the advertised one.
Had to be sent back for a cost, which, I have not been reimbursed yet.
The second time shipped it was delayed for a week and not as described, couple of strap links missing.
Extra links had to be shipped again.
I have waited for a total 2 months until I have the correct item I originally ordered.
And still not reimbursed for the shipment cost.
Chrono24 has been of no help whatsoever. Every contacts are directly to the seller.

From the very beginning enquires up to having the watch on my wrist I have nothing but praise for how the transaction was handled. Utmost satisfaction.

I had some difficulty navigating your website, this is not meant to be an indictment of the website it's just that I'm an older guy and I am not that computer literate. It does appear to be well organized and after buying two watches I do feel a bit more comfortable with it now so my problem was more me than you.It would be nice if your phone number was available so I can speak directly to someone when I'm having difficulty says these are 20 $30,000 purchases I'm gonna make sure I don't screw it up in the future

Seller proposed a good deal with delivery on a new watch that made it easy to accept. Communications was quick and clear, the whole transaction was completed in 10 days from first email to delivery Germany to Australia. Delivery and taxes from freight handler was as expected and didn't hold up the process. Will use Chrono24 and contact this seller for any future purchases.
I bought a Rolex Submariner from the Chrono24 website. I paid through their secure website, got the watch in two days and all was as described. This is a great site to reliably buy watches and I've bought more than a few and always without complications. These guys screen sellers so each purchase is with confidence.

I was able to locate an often hard-to-find watch, from a reputable dealer with whom I had one of the smoothest retail transactions I ever had. Ordering and payment were exceptionally east and fast. I already have a wish list on the site and will absolutely consider using Chrono24 again.
Great experience! I was apprehensive about buying an expensive watch online but after my experience with Chrono24 my fears were put to rest. The whole process is very refined and seamless. It is clear that they have taken every action to ensure that the buyer is getting the product that they want in a timely fashion. Communication, payment and status updates are quick and timely. There was no time during the transaction that I was worried I would not get my watch, it was great. I highly recommend.
Dealer interactions seem to go quite well, but private sellers are hit-and-miss. Escrow is a good idea, but if a dealer has to wait to get a watch from the manufacturer your money is tied up immediately. If Chrono24 could move to a credit card "authorization" model that would be much preferred. I've ended up paying up front for watches that took many weeks to ship.
Love this place. Browse a lot and have purchased 10 pieces on here. Their system works great. Settle on a price. Wire money to Chrono24. They hold the funds until you receive the watch. No risk to either party. Great way to operate.
I ordered a 30 year old Omega from a professional dealer in Japan, and everything went very smoothly. Watch was in better condition than I expected, process and shipping was fast. No complaints.
If you spend any time on Chrono 24 then you are bound to find a watch that you like. And, if you return to the site almost daily to look at said watch then you will soon convince yourself that you must have that watch. Well, at least that's what happened to me...twice now. This last time however, the watch was half the planet away. Now thanks to the Chrono 24 Escrow account, my worries could be quelled. Chrono made the whole transaction seamless. The dealer reviews are a great tool for building confidence in who you may be dealing with and perhaps moving forward. Do your homework and use them. Thanks to the dealer reviews and the sense that Chrono would have my back, I decided to get that watch that I could no longer live without, it seemed. I'm sure that you know what I mean. Anyway, the dealer turned out to be really good and the whole process went too easy. Thanks a lot Chrono 24! Now my wife is on to me and my watch sickness. I have purchased several watches using Chrono24 Concierge Service and all the transactions have gone smoothly! It is reassuring to know that the watches being sold on Chrono24 have been vetted for authenticity and that your purchase is protected as much as possible from misrepresentation. Their customer service people are responsive and will act on your behalf to make sure you are satisfied! Chrono24 is a great site to find the watch you want and not have to worry about what winds up at your door!
I had a number of issues with the site, trying to sell my watches, but latest problem is just buying a watch.
Made an offer to seller in Euros, was shown the price in USD, but at checkout, they are forcing me to pay in USD with additional 2.5% fee on top of charging 2% for AMEX, that charges me 0% for foreign exchange transactions.
Customer service is not helpful and multiple people are very deceiving.
Lucky for everyone there are plenty of other sites that do a better job providing Watch Marketplace

I recent purchased a Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso through a private seller on Chrono24. At first I was very reluctant but after a few emails with the buyer I went through with it. I am more than happy with the results especially since the seller had no reviews or ratings. I believe you need to do your homework and ask questions to feel it is what you want and whether legit. I would use Chrono24 again. The experience I had was great.

Chrono24 make it really easy to find and compare watches for sale. You can track prices of the watches on offer and receive emails if the price changes. Like eBay you can save your search and have the site email you when watches come on sale that match your requirements. Best of all is an escrow service whereby your money isn't passed to the vendor until you confirm that you have received your purchased watch. This keeps your money much safer than simply paying the seller and risking that they won't send the goods. Highly recommended.
