I have used chrono24 for watch purchases and i only use trusted sellers and then i still try to do some research pay via escrow and so far so good but as with all purchases especially online always " buyer beware" in my case so far so good.
Will use the site again. The merchant I worked with had great communication and item came as described. The 14 day escrow policy gave me peace of mind that if I didn't like the watch or the condition of the watch I could return it with no issues.
My credit cards were rejected during checkout, and I had to call Chrono24 to have it accepted. The problem was solved easily, but it took a little bit more time and effort from my side to have the order processed.
I was very happy with the entire ordering process. My payment was held in escrow until I informed Chrono24 that I had received my watch in proper working condition, which I think is a great way to do things. I placed the order and it was only just a few short days later that I had the watch in my hands (I live in Dubai, and the watch was sent from Singapore). Extremely satisfied!
Overall great transaction. Couple of things for anyone purchasing. They cannot split the cost over two payment types on the website. I had to call to put some on a wire transfer and the rest on my credit card. I had to wait for the wire to go through and then give them my credit card. For the credit card, they asked for a picture of the card and my driver license - I am sure to cut down on fraud. Overall this only took three days to complete but just be aware.
After my 3rd purchase from dealers on Chrono24 I can say I am very satisfied with each experience. The dealers really seem to go out of their way to make transactions smooth. They really work for and earn their 5 star reviews in my experience.

I think my recent experience with Chrono 24 was one of the best I can remember in a long time. My watch got held up in Italy. I was able to speak to a rep easily and they ran me through all the what-if's in a reassuring way, and also assisted in communicating with the seller. At no point did I feel exposed. The watch arrived and was perfect and as advertised. I would absolutely buy another watch through Chrono 24 - probably only through Chrono 24 if i'm going second-hand and obscure like this one.

Chrono24 refused to accept payment in the currency of the listing, refused to amend my currency settings with the home/business address update.
The Customer Service didn't even bother to read my query and respond!
Just bought a watch on the Chrono24 App. Paid $750, nothing ever came in the mail. They said it was lost in transit and there was nothing they could do about it. Everyone do yourselves a favor and go to an actual dealer, this site and app is likely a scam or prone to outside dealers scamming patrons. Proceed with CAUTION
