Be careful of what you buy. One of our items was a pair of slippers that were to small. Cost was $19.99. There is a charge of $11.95 to return them. That means we will lose 60% of our purchase. We will find someone to give them to and NEVER BUY FROM COUNTRY STORE AGAIN!
I was signed up for their rewards program and charged $21.50 for a couple of months before I noticed the additional charges. I did not sign up for the rewards program.

If I could give this store a "0" I would. I purchased an item that was too large for me, so I used the return paper work asking for an exchange. They did not exchange the item and partially credited my account. Apparently there is a restocking fee as they kept the shipping and handling costs. I had already paid shipping and handling fees when I ordered and I paid for the shipping back to the company for the exchange, so I don't know why I was charged again for the "shipping and handling" fee.
I thought I had read reviews of this company, but apparently I did not as the reviews for this store are so horrendous I never would have bought from them. Buyer Beware!

I ordered a medium and large fleece sweatshirt, hoping one of them would fit. I only opened the medium and it was shockingly enormous. I washed and dried it in heat, figuring it might shrink a lot. But I would still guess it to be XL OR XXL. It's just poorly put together with no effort to follow a woman's body shape. The arm holes are so huge it will impede work, and the head hole is so huge, too much heat escapes so it doesn't keep me warm. So there's no point opening the large sweatshirt.
I would give zero stars if it were possible. This business is so difficult to work with! Their website was down for weeks so I finally called to order. No emails sent confirming my order or tracking info on shipping. Eventually I saw the charge on my credit card but still no communication. Now with Christmas less than 2 weeks away, still nothing. Now I can't find the charge on my card, so what? Nothing? Will not shop this store ever again. Update: Well, the order was finally delivered except the item that was supposed to be a Christmas gift which is back ordered. No word on when it is expected. Since I ordered in September, this is unacceptable.
This catalogue apparently does not want business. Their website has been offline for weeks and when I tried to order by phone, I was on hold for 20 minutes and then gave up. It was impossible to order from them.
Big mistake buying from them. Poor quality clothing and you lose $10,95 on any returned merchandise!

This is a horrible company and I will never order from them again. My mother is in hospice, expected to die in the next few months. I ordered several nightgowns for her from this company because my mother used to like their products. I waited and waited and finally called. They had cancelled my order without telling me. I reordered asking them to send it express. I paid extra for the express shipping. Eight days later I discovered that they finally gave the order to FedEx. This in no way was express. I told them my mother was in hospice and needed the nightgowns right away. I have still not received these much needed nightgowns. Do not trust them. Do not buy from them. BUYERS BEWARE.
I ordered two sweatshirts six days ago, and hadn't received an update status. I called the customer service number to see what the scoop was, and the order had yet to ship.
I tried to cancel the order (which is still in Country Store's possession), and the customer service rep wouldn't let me, but rather advised I'd be seeing the order delivered in 5-7 additional business days.
I know we live in an impatient world, but a 2 week lead time for a couple of sweatshirts from a factory warehouse presumably on the east coast seems like a really long time. A heads up about the wait would have helped ameliorate the situation.
Terrible to deal with, poor communication to none at all. Take forever to send merchandise, size definitely not true to size, then when item is returned... they 'nickel&dime' you and send less than amount due. And when you try to talk on phone to someone about this, you get someone whose English you can't understand and when you ask to speak to someone else. They just put you on forever canned music. They deserve to go out of business for such poor practices..
Paid $43.11 to purchase a nightgown which included $9.99 for shipping. Material was way too thin, told I could return it for $10.95 shipping. Donating to goodwill and never shopping here again.
Ordered $500 worth of clothing items. Took over a month to arrive. The box was broken and only half of the items came in. Called customer service who promised the rest of the items would be shipped in 10 to 14 days. That was 4 weeks ago. Nothing has been shipped. I will never order from this place again.
Have purchased from this catalog twice. Both times they had an out of stock issue that was not reported until several weeks after the order was made. This second time the products received were made of super thin material. Extremely cheap junk. Looks like what they show in catalog but no one would buy this stuff in a store, seeing the actual product. I thought it strange they didn't have immediate reviews on their site. Now I know why.

Ordered in early October (they said size true to size) and definitely was Not and now November 8th and they say they can't find the return and won't refund my money.

My daughter loves their sweatshirts, and being a single parent, I struggle to afford the expensive shirts she wants from this business. In the last few days, I have noticed a $14.95 charge to my card from this store, I have not ordered anything for months, so I called and they told me that the charge was a trial membership. I did not ask for the trial membership, nor did I authorize them to take the money out of my account. I told the lady that the almost $30 they took out was all of the money I had left to feed my daughter until my next payday. She actually argued with me that they only took out one 14.95 payment. I told her I was looking at 2 $14.95 transactions from their company, and I wanted that money put back right away. She told me I was wrong, but that she would escalate the refund, and she would have a supervisor contact me by email so that I could send screenshots of the transactions. That was 4 days ago, and of course, I have heard nothing, and I cannot get them to talk to me at all. Do not shop with this company.
I ordered two outfits for my Mom early for mothers day and the package is still floating around in limbo with no tracking info after a few days after I placed order. I cannot get in touch with anyone. Been on hold 3 separate times for up to 40 mins. When I called to pretend I was placing an order, I got right through. Wow. But of course they couldn't help me. I am on hold now as I write this. Run from these useless, cheapo, yet overpriced catalog stores. BAD BAD business.
I received cheap replicas of my entire order. People don't throw your money away. Don't shop Country Store. My order was devied up into two separate packages where I had to pay shipping on each package, These people should be put out of business. They're too awful. Their products are ugly --the ones you finally get.

Ordered some Seat Covers for my new Dining set during virus in May, 2021. They were on backorder for about two months. During that time the price went from $60.41 to $78.90. When Seat cushions finally arrived and I realized they would not fit my chairs the return process then took six weeks to receive my refund. Small company? Not sure.
This company is horrible. I inadvertently purchased a gift card thinking it was The VERMONT Country Store. This place is not even close. You cannot get ahold of them on the phone. They responded after an email to their customer service - but it took them THREE weeks. I just want a refund for this gift card.
I ordered The VERMONT Country Store for our daughter and sent that to her for Christmas.

I have made a attempt at communication numerous times about a VIP that I was in rolled in for $15 a month which is ridiculous I ordered one item for my grandmother for a present for someone else and now they're taking $15 a month out of my checking account and I cannot get it stopped because no one will answer the phone or email me back this is ridiculous
