Cricket after tearing up a phone on my account, then refusing us upgrades we could afford, thanks to their bait and switch scheme. Display phones under $100 then refuse to sell them, "we only sell phones priced $100 and up" several reps told us that. One moron said "pay $100 for a phone and it will last you 100 years" I told him he was an idiot. Let's see hmm $375 plus taxes and fees to stay with Cricket or $90 for service plus taxes and fees plus 3 free $150 phones. Total cost $150. Yes, we switched to Metro PCS and you should too!

We added a line to our Cricket account and were charged an additional $8 to the $25 line. When we questioned the charge, the representative said it was for a protection feature that we never discussed, and I never asked for. Then, on reviewing my bill, I found an additional $8 charge for a line I added over a year ago. Again, it was a protection feature I never wanted or asked for. When I contacted the corporate company, they were sorry but would do nothing and told me to take it up with the local store. Cricket charged me twice for a feature I never asked for or consented to, and I caught them in the act. But, there is no refund for a year of charges. Buyer beware.
On 8/17/24 around 2:19pm at5420 US HWY 98 N Lakeland FL ******* I decided to upgrade phone. Although the sales associate Kelly was nice they failed to inform the following: Power cord for phone was not adaptable to wall outlet along with no AC outlet plug included in box. She also failed to mention that sim card was email and not physical to put into phone as to when I opened the box. When I got home across town I opened box and noticed the missing items. When I looked at receipt there was NO NUMBER OF STORE LOCATION to call and ask about my issue. The number you provide is a *******377 which DOES NOT allow you to speak to NO ONE. When I call your support line I got Kevin from El Salvador (outsourcing jobs) I was on hold for 19:35 minutes after speaking with him and asking for supervisor I was put back on hold by this time I was driving back to store location (GAS NO CHEAP) and when arriving at store I showed store associate OMAR my phone still on hold at 49:13 minutes. This is not customer service and definitely not worthy of a smile like your menu prompt says. Who ever or if ever reads this feedback in this day and age of social media customer feedback reaches far more people. When I work YEARS AGO with a company that purchased Cricket we did not have this type of service or lack of. Not to have a phone number for a customer to reach a store is unacceptable. They also did away with senior discounts and all discounts. I will be making it my mission to let EVERYONE KNOW how Cricket has gone down in a spiral direction.

Gonna cut to the chase. Paying for coverage on cracked screen.8 bucks a month. Told 29 bucks to fix same day in most cases. Neither is accurate and I'm pissed. It's been over 2 weeks since this occurred and my next step is to go on every review to let people know that they suck.

Service with cricket has been horrible and have been paying for a warranty that is not any good for my cell or pocket.
I have had cricket for over a year. No Matter where I am at around 10 pm I lose my internet now my phone only will do emergency calls. There customer service people are a joke.
" I will reset you network connection. We will no longer be on this call,make sure to power your phone off for 30 min". That's the standard line to get out of the call.

My iPhone 11, iOS version 17.3.1 which I updated today, which was supposed to be scheduled to update overnight, refuses to give me cellular data access to my Cricket network plan. My cellular plan is on and not roaming, I need my cellular connection plan for work and I cannot do anything since I need my cellular data, everything is paid for, nothing is wrong with my cellular plan. I am a very eye rate customer and this happened twice today! Please find a solution or I am switching to Verizon! I will make everyone know what you guys are up to as well my job is on the line!
Their rates are very reasonable and zi gave very few dropped calls.
Their phones are bottom of the barrel wuality.The last good phone I ever got from them was an LG Frontier 2...that was 5 fyckjng years ago.
They burn through employees constantly,so most of them are dumber than drill bits.

I've been with cricket since 2016 and every year their data availability has been going down and down this year. We decided to get new 5G phones so it would be better. It's actually made it worse. Do not use them. I've heard the area where I live in everyone is complaining.
Other carriers can provide you with old call logs (under 2 years most carriers have them online), but not Cricket. They require you to have a subpoena, for your own records.
Cricket is the biggest piece of $#*!! Service sucks. I bought a new phone from them and it's not a new phone. It's someone else's junk they turned in. My phone just goes to calling or doing whatever it wants when it wants. Embarrassing. Oh and to type this review I had to give it a state. Bull$#*!
They sell you used and defective iphones then they refuse refunds for the defective iphones they sell you this is taking advantage of their customers by refusing to refund even before the 7day purchase

After going into Cricket Wireless in Northwest North Carolina I got a new iPhone and as long as behold received messages and phone calls from what was a girlfriend of a guy whose phone number that I got it's still active phone number that he holds in his pocket and uses every day and I've got it now too yay I'm going there tomorrow and I will write my second review
The biggest scam! How you tell me I have to pay $5 for me using your line because your system don't work by me entering in the right info off my card to pay my bill! You all are nuts and stealing people money! Do not go with this company. ITS LOW DOWN!
When purchasing 3 upgrades yesterday I selected 2 Samsung phones and a Moto G7 Supra. Upon checking out the price came up 40 more than the sign next to the display. When I brought this to the employees attention, she called 2 different people including her district manager. I heard the district manager over the speaker phone tell the employee not to honor the displayed price. She was threatened that the difference would come out of her paycheck since new signs were supposed to be displayed. I purchased the phone anyway and spent $400 on upgrades. If this is Crickets idea of customer service, I will not be with them much longer.

They have terrible customer service. Go with a better company like Verizon, AT&T or Sprint. I like Verizon most but Cricket is just awful. Thank you to site jabber for allowing us our right to freedom of speech so we can warn others of some of the awful businesses / sites out there and protect consumers from falling victim. Google maps stopped working due to poor connectivity in the middle of the twin cities on highway 55. Almost got into an accident while trying to figure out what is going on. Cheapness may come with a high price.

My service has been intermittent and losing calls for a week and they have been telling me it would be working by "tomorrow". I even missed a doctor calling me. I called many times and sent email to their "customer success" as they say to go with no response.
I want my iPhone unlocked and they refuse to do so, even though I did get any special deal and was a customer when I bought the phone.
This is beyond bad customer care.
The store I went to is on Charleston and Lamb. There was a very friendly and helpful young lady. I believe her name was Guadalupe she helped me switch over and get a phone! I was running short on time and I called ahead to make sure she had the phone I wanted and she did I just went in set up my plan and she sold me some accessories and I was out the door. Very helpful young lady.

I switched to cricket wireless because they told me it came with a 1 year Sam's club membership and the 60 dollar a month plan for 10 dollars a month through the EBB program. After they said I was approved I walked out of the store satisfied only to receive a 60 dollar bill a month later. When I called they said there was nothing they could do about it and still no sams club. Scam
The service itself is good, I haven't had a single issue with outages or signal/service. I can't give it 5 stars because of lack of Customer Service. It's way more reliable than Tmobile in my state of MN.
Coverage is better than T-Mobile, but support is horrible, I called them to change my plan and set up automatic payments, I got my plan change and I was completely sure that the support guy was set up the automatic payments for my account, but by the end of the cycle my account was suspended and they charge me $15.00 dollars fee to re-establish the service, this is b.$#*!, they charge me for their own mistake
As long as you don't have a problem you are great. My phones are great my coverage is great. The price is amazing! I bought a phone when they were running a special. It expired in a week. (the small print did not say anything about activation just purchase I read every little word) The site said ships in 2 days. WRONG They took a week to mail it and then when I filled out the rebate I got an email saying sorry was activated outside of the dates. The chat is obviously overseas. They don't even read the messages sent I swear. The most frustrating Customer service experience in my life. So ask long as you aren't counting on a limited rebate item you are golden. I really do love my phone, service and paying $100 for 5 lines of unlimited text, talk and 2G of data. You can't beat it. I still recommend them to others but I warn them about the customer support. I can't see any other reason why I need to deal with customer support again so it is smooth sailing from here on out.
