Cricket after tearing up a phone on my account, then refusing us upgrades we could afford, thanks to their bait and switch scheme. Display phones under $100 then refuse to sell them, "we only sell phones priced $100 and up" several reps told us that. One moron said "pay $100 for a phone and it will last you 100 years" I told him he was an idiot. Let's see hmm $375 plus taxes and fees to stay with Cricket or $90 for service plus taxes and fees plus 3 free $150 phones. Total cost $150. Yes, we switched to Metro PCS and you should too!
I haven't cried out of shear frustration in years but tonight after 2 hours of trying to get help from cricket chats I'm losing it. All I wanted to do was pay them to add one Gig to my service for the month. Hurricane Helene wiped out my town's internet so I can't watch TV or use my phone because having no wifi burned up my data in 3 days. It took about 2 hours and many customer service chats to get a very SIMPLE payment accomplished. I'm switching to consumer cellular
I was 2 days late on bill. I went to the cricket store and was told I would have to have a new phone number and they did not tell me I would have to re-apply for ACP again,that was in May at the same time I signed up for auto pay. In June I was billed $90.00 it was removed from my account when it should have been $30.00. I called to found out they never cancelled the old line and was charging me for 2 lines instead of one and they had removed the ACP account. I call customer service and was told there wouldn't be a bill for 2 months, but that was wrong. I got another bill. I called again and was told to contact my bank, I did. The bank put the money back. Now my phone has been turned off and they are saying I owe $70.00. If they don't get this right I will contact my Attorney General. The customer service is terrible.
So I called because the system wouldnt allow me to pay me bill. Currently on hold to speak to manager and no one is answering. I am really starting to hate their services. One start only because I had to. Seems like they are getting worst.
This service sucks. Trying to get someone on the phone is like pulling a horses teeth. Had the option to have them call me back only for them to call me back & put me back on hold... Been holding now for 10 mins & they called me back when there was supposed to be someone helping. The service sucks. It drops calls & then try to call back & phone tells you no cellular service. I'm in open area & have never had the issue until these last 3 days. I have to turn the phone off & back on for it to last a little bit before it does it again. This is the worst company ever. Still holding... smh. I should have just stayed on hold for the 11 mins instead of them calling me back to be on hold even longer. What's the point? I'm now on hold even longer. Why would you call me back if you have no agent to help me? Instead I have to listen to all this garbage on hold. They don't shut up. No one wants to keep hearing the same stuff for 20 mins on hold. The music is enough. Don't recommend ever!

I've been with cricket for 3 year. Never complained until yesterday. They shut my phone off saying it was no longer compatible. I've been using that same phone for 6+ months. When i called customer service to find out what was going on, they told me they did away with 3g compatible phones! Well thanks for the headsup! When i asked what i was suppose to do, he hung up on me! I will be switching carriers after this. I won't be forced to buy a phone from a company. That was complete b. S. what they did. They refused to answer ANY questions.

I am telling everyone. Never go to eather on. People at both companies are rude, stupid, thief's. Never in my life would I think a phone company would steal from me! That's what they did. Now I have no phone. Put out money to both!
I would not recommend this phone service to anyone they aren't very good #1 and #2 they aren't educated in what to do or what porting a number means which is very frustrating plus most everyone I've talked through through customer service isn't helpful and they are all very rude, I work in customer service and it's not hard to be nice.

I had to cancel my account because I left the country. I did it on the pay day and been promised to get refund for this month in 10 days. When it didn't happened I checked with them and the answer was the policy is no refund for cancelation. Didn't matter to them at all that I was told differently from their rep and that I didn't use their service at all this month

I was very happy with cricket until I needed to login to my account to update my new debit card information for autopay. I tried and tried to login with no success. I requested my password, entered my phone number but never received the text from cricket! I tried over and over. I chatted with the automated system which also was no help at all. The next day my service was shut off. I had to call cricket and update my info plus pay an extra $19 to reactivate my service! Cricket should have let me make these updates before my service was cancelled. This is VERY FRUSTRATING! Cricket is no longer the best in my book.

Also she remembered my boyfriend and I, she was smiley and funny and was just very informative. She knew what she was talking about for sure! I am so happy she was our helper and we are so grateful that she remembered exactly what we were going to be coming back for today! I signed up for the ACP BENEFIT BUT EVERY MONTH I STILL GET A 63$ BILL and end up paying $40 for one phone line no unlimited data. I'd advise everyone to check with boost mobile or metro pcs befor choosing these scammers.
I have been on hold for over three hours then the cs rep comes in and tells me steps to do and doesn't even want to wait for them to get done. I paid off my phone! Why is it still locked? I asked to speak to the supervisor because it was clear that the lady was reading from a script and was not interested in seeing if anything worked. I am totally disgusted by this company. Now it is another 2 hours and 17 minutes and still NO SUPERVISOR. I have NOT gotten my pricked solved and will put this on EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA PLACE I KNOW! The lady that I spoke to was NOT helpful at all and only wanted to rush off the phone and the steps site gave me were not even valid. I would think that the initial 2 plus hours worrying to spro to someone would at least give me the time or of their day to solve my problem. Never again! After 5 years and 5 lines of service, they start phasing our 3G and abandoning all my devices. After randomly hijacking my calls for months and sending me to their sales department instead of the people I called, they finally promised that I could upgrade 3 of my devices at a discount and I would also get 2 5G phones free. Now that I have purchased 3 new phones with them and received 1 free device, they are refusing to honor the 2nd free device promise. Now I am stuck and can't afford to switch to another company because of the money I have spent to stay with them. Their support team, whom I have talked with for hours over the past week, says I'm just out of luck. They lie to keep you as a customer, then don't care when there is nothing you can do about it. I would never recommend this crooked company to anyone regardless of how cheap the service is.
I can't believe your company doesn't care one bit about the customers. I am currently a customer of 24months, I even upgraded and added my wife's line to my account. Today I called and advised that due to being home with COVID 19 I was unable to make my payment yesterday as scheduled... but went online today to make that payment and was told they would not remove the additional $35.00 fees. In these times where COVID is a very scary thing for me being a 50yr old guy with other health issues, I am so upset that Cricket Wireless doesn't care about their customers and refused to remove that extra fee... you are more interested in the money than the well being of your customers. As soon as I am well enough to leave and handle my business again... I WILL be getting another cell service!

Worst customer service ever paid my bridge pay amount phone was still turned off for several hours was stuck on the highway for hours with no phone… Called the very next morning spoke to 2 different customer service reps still got no where all I asked was to give me my account number so I can change service
Cricket locked my IPhone 11 that I took into the store from a Att carrier, phone was unlocked to be use with any carrier before cricket services was added on 2/14/2022. FYI, Att informed me after they did their investigation that cricket had it locked. Cricket said they don't lock phones that's a lie especially IPhone 11 an up and whomever the rep was that put cricket services on my phone put in the system like I bought the phone from cricket. That's how my paid off Att IPhone11 was locked. They didn't have any legal rights to lock it and that's why they hung up on me not once but twice! Proof down below that cricket locked my phone oh after having me on hold he comes back to tell now your phone is unlock! How is that sooo?
Good question, I only found out by trying to go to another cell phone company! Hopefully this help someone down the line. On to BBB to put in my complaint with them as well.

I just want to say that Joseph at Lacey Washington Cricket store was exceptional courtesy was shown not only to me but another customer. He made sure he got my ACP program up and Running another customer came in and said she recently had a stroke and would sit in her car to wait for him to be through with me and after me he went and got her from her car. Kudos to Joseph.
Bad customer service!, have fees for everything. Ima a new customer with auto pay, yet cricket made me pay a late fee. Signal is very bad. Internet is slow! And I'm paying "the highest". For sure won't be a cricket customer for long.
Does anyone know how to talk to a supervisor or someone of rank atleast. I have had a few cell companies but this is the worst by far. So fake. If anyone knows how to get help or get anywhere with these people. Please let me know. I order service and phone on friday! Monday order was canceled! No one was able to explain why order was canceled (even though my card was charged without any problem)! Straight talk is well worth the extra $10 amonth!
I went to buy a new phone. They sold it to me, I bought cover for it. I brought it home but it didn't work properly so I went to return it. They charge me 25 dollar for the car, I bought a case 25 dollar not refundable. When I took the charger out I rip the case trying to get it out charge another 25 dollars. I lost 75 dollars that they I felt like someone when to my pocket and stole my money so easy. I called costumer service the only thing the lady say I'm sorry sir I'm sorry sir. This people are thief... do not longer do business Whit them.
It couldn't possibly be worse. Rude, greedy, and NO HOTSPOTS. That's right we get no hotspot. We run a small business and we live in the country. We need hotspots sometimes for printing shipping labels. They claim that we can't get hot spots. They suspended our phones for no reason claiming that the Samsung j7 and LG v20 is not acceptable phones for them so no hotspot. So we HAVE to buy their expensive crappy phones that don't have removable batteries, and we did buy one, the Halo Samsung j7 (only one that had removable battery). And guess what? It didn't have hotspot either so no hotspots. They cost us so much money, and then they claim if we buy more things and pay even more which would total over 80.00 a month then maybe we can get hotspot. And that's for only 8 gb. So you want my opinion? Stay away, go with Boost Mobile, PC Metro, or anything but Cricket.

Has the right name, because they're definitely not straight with you. The app always breaks and they have a bunch of hidden charges and give you no breathing room.
They told me they would charge me an extra $10 but charged me an extra $50.
They might as well reduce customer service to just bots. Neither of them do a good job.
