Overall, Crowdtap offers an engaging way for consumers to interact with brands and earn rewards through various activities. However, like any platform, user experience may vary based on individual participation and technical factors.
So it finally happened to me after reading about it happening to so many others. Had been on here for a solid year, earning as much as $60 a month. Just cashed out for 5 bucks and immediately I can't get back into my account & says I've been banned. These people are slimy! Another issue I had with them is I was signed up to do a $100 survey. They confirmed with me multiple times, both through calls and emails. Then literally 30 seconds before the interview was scheduled to start, they cut me and offered $20. I raised a stink since I had scheduled my whole day around this and ended up getting the original $100 offered. By the way, none of the emails indicated that being cut at the last second was even a possibility.
I can not wait to sample my anti dandruff shampoo and conditioner! Thanks so much crowdtrap! Y'all are the best!
It's one of the best site to an answer questions and take surveys and get ssamples. II lovelove CCommunity..
I make a fair amount of money on various surveys/HIT/task/freelance sites, almost the equivalent of a job. This site was great but I had the same experience many commenters on here have referred to: I have been on Crowdtap for about 2-2.5 years. I am careful when I do surveys, I do not rush, I always tell the truth, no bots, no scripts nothing like that... That said, after doing probably several hundred dollars worth of their surveys and cashing them in for Amazon cards, I get kicked out and can't log in, my account is disabled. Not even an email until I complained to their chatbot, and eventually by direct email, they are unable or unwilling to answer questions, I think they review your returns with an (apparently poorly programmed) bot, or by humans who don't really give AF. That, or if you are good at surveys and make too much (total conspiracy on my part) they suspend you. Here's all I got, several times same form letter (note there is no actual information about what they claim I did or didn't do in there):
Hello (my name),

Why is my account not working on choosing answer fix this support fixed this then i answer a few more sureys then cant use the account again
It has been a breeze to earn gift cards answering easy questions. I have earned over $100 in Target gift cards, easy peazy.
Good sample opportunities and giftcard for short surveys. $5 can be earned in about 10days, not fast, but the samples are usually full size products.
My account was deactivated without cause. Explanation: Identified suspect activity. No details given
I won't bash the company, because this used to be one of my favorite review sites ever. I've been a tapper for almost 2 years, since the beta testing, and consistently got great sampling missions with good products. I got to give a lot of open-ended feedback about the products and even if I didn't like a product, it didn't seem like I was penalized for it. This made it seem like the company was genuine about getting honest feedback about the products.
But all of the sudden my account got banned without prior flags, notice, or reason. It's my only account, I live within the US, complete my missions on time, and I log on almost daily to complete the questions so that covers the generic response that CrowdTap sends as "reasons for banning." I reread their terms of service and it says that CrowdTap can ban you for "no reason" which probably explains why so many people are complaining that their account got banned suddenly without a personalized explanation or warning. I did notice that it happened when I was getting close to number of points needed for the $15 gift card reward, so maybe they removed me to save the money? I've spent hours in surveys and questions to earn the $10 worth, but I guess they don't consider my effort invested as "quality responses" despite being rewarded less than minimum wage for far more time. The site itself still has some kinks. For example, I did a survey about pets, and when asked which dog food brand I used, I answered "none of the above" since I don't have a dog. I expected the survey to close and remove from my dashboard, but it not only continued to the next question, asking about more about dog food. I kept trying to exit, but there was no way to exit the survey without answering the question. Other times the login site won't load, I can't access a survey that I had started but not completed earlier, or points won't update.
Anyways, who knows what's going on. I sent inquiries about why I was banned to customer service last week and still haven't heard anything. From the reviews and generic CrowdTap responses I've read online, I'm not expecting to get an explanation or hear back at all. Would've been nice to get a flag before banning and a personalized reason for their decision. Thanks for the good time while it lasted, CrowdTap!
I got suspended and did nothing wrong. PLEASE HELP idk what to do. Because i did a survey and got suspended for no reason
Hi Sophia, We'll be sending you a message shortly so we can look into this for you.
This company is such a scam! They block your account for no apperent reason without even giving any explantion right when you have enough points to cash out, DO NOT RECCOMEND
Hello, Takeisha. Although we wish it weren't the case, there are instances when profiles are banned and we take great care before taking that step. We abide by the regulations of our Terms of Service (https://crowdtap.com/auth/terms-of-service), specifically in this case, sections 4.7 and 4.8, with the intention of being able to reward and support the Crowdtap community members as a whole. We do offer an appeals process (humans do err), but depending on the specific cause of a profile's banning (i. E., evidence of duplicated accounts, accounts created and/or used outside Crowdtap’s allowed territories), that may affect whether or not you hear back from us. Please see our FAQ with further details on this topic: https://bit.ly/2CM5tX9
Don't like crowntap at all, can't get the Facebook app so now I don't get my amazon gift card I earn, I wasted my time and energy on this site.
Hi Tangela - Thanks for your feedback and we're sorry to hear of your experience! We currently use Facebook to verify member accounts to prevent fraud before awarding gift cards - it allows us to verify each person is who they say they are. If you have issues connecting Facebook to your Crowdtap account, you can email us at support@crowdtap.com. From there we can figure out why you may have encountered an error, help fix it, and award you with any outstanding gift cards.
I'm incredibly frustrated with my experience trying to sign up for Crowdtap's app. The verification code they were supposed to send me never arrived, making it impossible for me to complete the registration process. This reflects very poorly on Crowdtap's competence and reliability. It's incredibly disappointing that they can't even get a basic step like sending a verification code right.
For an app that relies so heavily on user engagement, it's mind-boggling that they haven't ensured a smooth and trouble-free sign-up process. This experience not only wasted my time but also made me question the app's overall quality and whether they truly value their users. In a world filled with alternatives, first impressions are crucial, and Crowdtap has completely botched theirs in my case.
On top of the verification code problem, I found Crowdtap's helper "Tappy" to be utterly useless. It kept suggesting articles to read, but none of them were even remotely helpful in addressing my issues. It's frustrating to see an AI-driven helper completely miss the mark and fail to understand my actual questions.
I had hoped that Tappy would provide some guidance or solutions, but it seemed incapable of comprehending my concerns. It's clear that Crowdtap has a long way to go in terms of improving their user support features. If an AI helper can't even offer relevant assistance, it raises serious doubts about the company's commitment to providing meaningful help to its users.
Overall, my experience with Tappy only added to my frustration and disappointment with Crowdtap's app. It's another aspect that showcases the app's lack of user-focused design and effective support mechanisms. If they can't even get their AI helper to be helpful, it's hard to have confidence in their ability to address more complex user issues.
To sum it up, my attempt to join Crowdtap through their app has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing ordeal. Their failure to deliver a simple verification code and their lackluster customer support have left me with a negative view of the app and the company behind it. I hope they take these issues seriously and improve their processes, but for now, I can't recommend anyone else to go through what I've experienced.
Amo hacer mis compras en Walmart. Empiezo desde la ropa de los chicos y termino en el clearence. Antes de ir a otro lugar prefiero primeramente mi tienda favorita.
