I ordered pillowcases and a sheet. Of course they send just the pillow cases without telling me they made a mistake and the sheet isn't available. Then they charge me for my full order. Don't get to excited about anything because you might not get it even if it says available. I would give them no stars
I lived in Maine for several years. When I called Cuddledown I heard that good Maine accent. I do not know where they are outsourcing their customer service but these people are not from Maine. Deeply annoyed. I called this time, the operators could make no sense of what I was trying to ask... I am an articulate person. I will no longer order from Cuddledown. There are plenty of other companies that will sell me the same sheets now that realize I am no longer supporting employment in the state of Maine
First sheet arrived with a hole in it. It is a huge ordeal just to get a simple exchange.
Second order was pillowcases and I was told they would send me a check for free shipping and 10% rebate if I became a member. I became a member and never received a check. Obviously, I opted out of the membership.
It's a shame that a company with nice products has such poor customer service and outdated techniques to service their customers. I won't be ordering from cuddledown again
Service for ordering was very good. However the fit for king fitted sheet is really bad. The sheet is about 3 inches too narrow and 5 to 6 inches long. I guess I'll have to try something else. When you pay over $400. For sheets, they should fit.
You would need to purchase hundreds of dollars of linens to make their VIP monthly program cost of subscription worthwhile. Their shipping rates are sky high but they do not explain you are charged MONTHLY for the VIP status--who purchases linens every month? The cost of maintaining a monthly subscription is more than shipping or any "rebate." Good luck ever getting a rebate. Cuddledown must provide a "detailed invoice" which they promise to email in 7 days but never happens in order to process a VIP rebate. They yes you to death then run you in circles about how YOU must PROVE you purchased anything at Cuddledown. Yes, that is right--the customer is the problem after they take your money. I spent several hours on the phone and exchanging emails. They wear you down with emails telling you to call and during the call, promising to send the required invoice which never arrives. Its the definition of a scam and most of their customers are women who give up after several weeks of no results and always the same "answers." This is the worst customer experience--money is taken and no service received but instead a mind boggling wearing down of the customer, designed to make them give up before they get what they paid for.
Very disappointed, found out the Cuddledown charged my card for kind of membership I wasn't aware without any statement or notification. When I called to cancel they just hang out on me. Be aware. Even their linen quality is good, I will do not purchase anything from them.
My order 5 day ago has still not left their warehouse according to online information. The FedEx shipping number is 'invalid' for two days now. I expected much better based on their stated quality. I sent them a note today expressing concern and hope to see a change by end of day today. Nerve wracking!
Wonderful products! Customer Service is beyond poor. Bad attitudes, poor communication skills and lack of empathy. The coarse, rude behavior can destroy this corporation. Literally was mocked by Eileen and she was laughing at me. It wasn't until I used her name much later into our conversation, did she realize she needed to respond as an adult. She cut the phone conversation off so I would be unable to answer the survey question.
Returned a comforter which was spewing its stuffing all over. CuddleDown claims never to have received the return package. They told me it was my tough luck and they had no way of knowing if I was scamming them or not - they did not believe me. They did not honor the return/exchange. I'm out ~$300.00!
I just had a similar experience with Amazon which resulted in a much better outcome. A package status indicated "delivered to customer" however I never got it. (Probably stolen from my door step). I contacted Amazon and within 2 minutes I had a full refund - they considered the package lost and took responsibility.
The customer service is awful. Ordered a dog crate cover as a gift. Was never informed that the item was on back order before purchasing. Called customer service on three separate occasions to ask when it would be shipped. After the second call I was told someone would get back to me and no one did. Not until the third call did I actually receive a response and that was by email, shortly after the phone conversation and 25 days after the order was placed.
I ordered a blanket from them and it did not come for 24 days so I tried to contact them. I had checked earlier on line and it showed "back ordered". After contacting them twice today I experienced the worst customer service. My first call was answered by someone who could not check on the order because it was ordered too long ago. On my second call I was told that the order had been cancelled. I never got this message via e-mail or through the post office. Their personnel was extremely rude and unapologetical. They need some customer training desperately.
Cuddledown offers a "VIP" service for customers that apparently is designed to offer them news of sales. I inadvertently hit the service when purchasing a Christmas gift and have been billed every month $14.95 since then for a service I never use. I requested that the "service" end in March, April, and May and now in June see the bill again. I am assured each time I call that the service has been discontinued and that I will not be billed again. Good luck with that. Cuddledown tells me that they have nothing to do with the service - I assume they get a monthly cut - horrible irresponsible company. Will never buy from them again.
I purchased a comforter on Jan 4 and am still waiting for it on Jan 20, and even was charged a "Covid" surcharge which hasn't made the process any quicker. Customer service is nonexistent; they can't or won't tell me where my order is or when it is expected for delivery. They should talk to Amazon to find out how to process and ship orders quickly. I won't order from this company again as it's too frustrating. Ugh.
I love their sheets but I have had to place multiple phone calls, been on hold for over 12 minutes, been "guaranteed" delivery for 4 different dates, and yet I still do not have my order. Very frustrating! I wish I'd read these reviews prior to placing my order.
After struggling with a website that kept deleting the information I repeatedly entered -- and had two separate carts -- I thought I put through an order for the correct item. I got an email that there was a problem with my credit card -- the one I use all the time with no problem. Trying to straighten that out, I discovered that the wrong item in the alternative cart had been ordered. I spent a lot of time on the phone, first on hold, then in the wrong department even though I'd selected the right one, and ended up doing a phone order with a different credit card. I can only hope that the pillowcases will be all right, because the shipping cost is outrageous. I will never shop Cuddledown again.
I recently ordered three items with the same design. They sent me two after a long wait and cancelled the third without explanation. I kept on calling customer service all over the world and was hung up on three times. N. They did not speak understandable English and certainly had no answers. I started e mailing and kept on getting stupid apologies, being told that he sheets they had left were not up to standard. I said I would take one and they completely ignored my request (lies). NO SATISFACTION from this company who might have a good product but spoil their brand with the chaos that surrounds their customer service. They stall the sending of products and if you join the VIP service they make you wait and wait to get any money back. BUYER BEWARE!
I made two recent purchases and returned both. I never got an email from them stating they received the returns, and I called today. Thank goodness I have tracking numbers, but Customer Service informed me they haven't even received the first order back yet, and that from the time they receive it, it will take "4-6 weeks for them to issue a refund". And they also deduct $9.50 from the refund for their return fee. This is horrible customer service! I informed them I will never order from them again, and now I wonder if I will ever receive a refund. This is in addition to their extremely high prices on their items.
9 days after ordering an "in-stock" item they cannot get it shipped, saying Fed Ex has not picked it up. Cancelled the order, they they say it can take 6 weeks for a refund. Chargeback time.

I've called customer service 4 times since placing an order on July 2. I was told each time that they were processing the order. On Tuesday, July 11, I called again to see if my order (sheets) had shipped., I was told the order was back-ordered because the product was out of stock. I asked to speak to the head of customer service, Pauline (she was not available) so I left a voice mail. As of today July 13, I have not received a response.

Great product, ridiculous website, silly membership, poor customer service. I truly don't understand how these people are still in business. There has to be a better way to engage in business with them. With such a great product, they could triple their sales with a user friendly website, free shipping for members and competent customer service.
