I placed an order and needed my items quickly, so I paid extra for 2 day Fed Ex shipping. 3 days after I received the email the items shipped, I called customer service for a tracking number (one was not provided in the shipping confirmation). Fed Ex told me the items will not arrive for another 5 days and that the seller shipped them via Smart Post, which is the slowest option Fed Ex offers. Now I get "disconnected" every time I call customer service for an explanation and my money back for the expedited shipping.
I placed a "rush" order for $80+ and 11 days later NO order and they did not EVEN SHIP IT OUT YET.
I contacted customer service and they said they would cancel the ENTIRE order. The customer service rep. Said she cancelled my ENTIRE ORDER. I get an email saying they cancelled one item for $5.00 and another email saying they shipped my order out that same day. NOT A COINCIDENCE.
NEVER USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
I am extremely disappointed in the service I am receiving on an order. I have ordered with this company before and had no problems. However, this order was placed April 5, and I still have not received what I ordered. I have called twice and have been told someone would let me know what it happening. I have not been called back either time. If I could cancel this order, I would, but can't confirm with anyone where the order is, and I have already been charged. I will no longer be using this company.
Ordered in mid October, still waiting for Christmas items. Maybe I will get them in time for Christmas 2021. When I called I was told there was nothing they could do because I ordered online. Sure took my money without any problem though. I will NEVER order anything from them again!
Terrible service! I was told i would receive my order within 2 weeks. It was over a month and they still had not shipped. Very unreliable and unprofessional service. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT ORDER from them!
I ordered return address labels on Dec. 3. They were "shipped" on Dec. 7. HOWEVER, I learned that although they were to arrive in "6 business days," they were ACTUALLY not scheduled to arrive until DECEMBER 20! 3 weeks to get a simple order? Beyond incompetence! I spoke to customer service. They claimed they had no way of expediting the order since it was in the hands of DHL. (They claimed there was no way to reach DHL!) Unbelievable! Then the supervisor lied to me and said that the labels would be arriving earlier than the Dec. 20 date. It is now Dec. 19, and no labels. NEVER again - and I plan to tell everyone I know to STAY AWAY from Current! The worst!
Three weeks after ordering some products nothing had been delivered. Via live chat was told they would expedite and products would be here in 3 days. Wasnt here. Live chat again and was told it would be overnighted. Nothing received. Called customer service and was told they were waiting on 2 of the 8 things ordered and they would be shipped some time next week. They are liars on top of the bad service. I will not use current again
Missing an item in shipmt, sent email same day. Response: we have had difficulty retrieving your original inquiry. Should you still need further assistance, please don't hesitate to call our customer service dept..." should I need? How about replacing my item? Asking questions to find my order! Altho I incl. My customer #, invoice #, order date, item #, description! Repeat emails to them generated wehave created a ticket, always with new #. Third try I copied everything into one email, a week later still no response at all. Just called & cust service says will ship item right away. We'll see. Never again!
I placed my order on 12/2. My card was charged immediately. Shipping was to be 5 to 9 days. I got an email on 12/14 saying it was shipped. I started tracking it, and nothing has been updated since 12/19. It's now been 8 days since it was "shipped", but I am still waiting. I had hoped to have my items long before now. Part of the order I planned to mail in a Christmas package. The rest were stocking stuffers. Here it is, 3 days before Christmas... my order is MIA. Frustrating! I have been ordering Current merch forever and never had issues until recently. It is not at all the company it used to be. I'm unsubscribing from their emails and never ordering from them ever again. If I had ordered checks (as I have in the past) I would be super nervous right now. At least my latest order was relatively small.
A few days ago I posted a review about personalized return address labels that were "wrong" even after I called and complained about the first set.
Spoke to customer service again today. Turns out that, even though I created the personalization and approved my design for the ordering process, this particular label will ALWAYS default to a first line of all caps and all heavy block print.
No where did the website tell me my personalization wld not go through as I created it. If it had, I wld have chosen a different label.
So, my initial ranting review shd be taken w/ a grain of salt. It wld have been helpful if the first customer rep had told me about the limitations of this label's personalization. Then, I wldn't have gotten SO angry when the exact same (wrong!) labels hit my mailbox.
But, despite this issue, and despite the limited hours for available customer service reps, the product quality--calendars, address books, etc--is still very good
Placed an order Dec. 27. Was notified 2 days later that several items were no longer available. Sent email requesting entire order be cancelled. Received an email almost 2 weeks later informing me that some other items in my order are on back order. I again sent an email requesting the order be canceled. The following day another email from Current was sent telling me that my order was ready to be sent. The same day I sent a THIRD email telling Current to cancel order. I will NEVER do business we this company again! Obviously emails are being ignored!
Current's customer service is terrible. I ordered some checks with matching address labels. The ones that I ordered came up as unavailable. I then ordered different checks with the matching labels and only the checks came. They ended up sending me my first order anyways as a checks only order and charged me for them. A couple of days later I received the 2nd order of checks which I also paid for. When I called I got a recording to hold then someone came on the phone and said all lines were busy that someone would call me back. Well, no call. I then sent an email which I have not heard back from. I want to be reimbursed for the first order of checks but it doesn't look like I will hear from them. They do have great items but I will never order from them again unless I receive a refund for the checks that I didn't want and the address labels that I paid extra for.
I ordered checks online. Double checked because I am ocd! My daughter was with me because I was placing order from her computer because my internet was down. I waited weeks they came one number off! They argued it was y fault so we took an entire day to find our history because it had been weeks to find the check we submitted to be my number. Real kicker is I have been using current for years same exact check! I have discover I am hoping they will get my money back because this was a company error! They said they were making right gave me confirmation that they would send my checks when I called to check confirmation they said no that it was my mistake had I not call3d I would have run out of checks! They are liars! And they do not care about their customers!
Realize online shopping is the way to go sometimes but Current Catalog has to be the worse company I; ve ever dealt with. Ordered christmas presents the beginning of Dec. Some orders never even received a confirmation, while filling the cart there was no problem with the getting the items it said "IN STOCK" continue shopping add items stuff was going out of stock... most confusing order ever placed. So now a week before christmas NO CHRISTMAS PRESENTS! Don't even have an idea if they ever get here! Lesson learned
The company has nice, expensive items. BUT, their customer service is terrible. I had a missing item( out of stock) and called them 2x and BOTH times they took down my information and said that they would refund my money. BUT, they didn't. They are a deceiving company and I will NEVER order from them again. BEWARE.
This is the worst company! I never received my order and no one could tell me why. It showed it was shipped but UPS never even received it. They kept promising me my order would arrive. I ordered it a month before Christmas and it never came. Then I had to call everyday to get them to credit me for my order, which they promised they would do right away. It has been over a week and I still haven't been credited! DO NOT ORDER FROM CURRENT!
I placed an order on the 14th and on the 27th received an email that my order had been shipped. However, that was not really true. They had created a shipping label, that's all. No clue as to when the item will really ship. Current is much to slow in filling orders and should tell me when the item really has shipped not when an address label has been created. Yes, I had called on the 22nd and they told me then the items were being shipped.
In an unusual move for me, I placed a Rush Delivery' order with this company on 10/29/18. Rush Delivery' promises delivery in two to five business days. My shipment arrived on 11/08/18. Upon inquiry via live chat, I was informed that the count begins from the day they ship your package. I asked where I could find the terms for Rush Delivery anywhere in the catalog or online and was directed to look under the help' section on their website. I did so, and absolutely nothing appeared to clarify this issue. The live chat person then agreed with me. During communication via email, I was told that indeed my package was delivered in 3 days AFTER BEING SHIPPED. It was not shipped out for 6 days after ordering. In a later email I was informed that they will issue me a refund for the extra money I spent. DO NOT PAY FOR RUSH DELIVERY, as this has no meaning to this company.
I have placed three orders in the past four months. The first took nearly a month to arrive. I won't dwell on slow shipping. You can read lots of other reviews about that, and my experience was no different.
My issue is that they keep emailing me saying if I place just two orders in 12 months I will be part of some "blue ribbon club." I have placed THREE and apparently I'm still not in "the club." Even though I have placed three orders through their website, the website does not recognize my email address. I created an account with the email address I used to place the orders (to find out where my most recent order is) and their website reports I have no orders.
I called customer service and the rep said she could see my orders on her end, but as to why I can't, her response was, "I don't know! [giggling] I don't know! [more giggling]." My impression is that they are underpaid, not well trained, and apathetic to their customers' needs. Too bad since the company carries some really cute products. Would love if a reputable company bought them out.
IT IS NICE TO GET A COUPON FOR REDUCTION IN PRICES ON THE ITEMS, BUT... THEN THE SHIPPING CHARGES WIPE THAT ALL AWAY. I HAVE BEEN ORDERING FROM CURRANT FOR MANY MANY YEARS. I AM A BLUE RIBBON CARD MEMBER. THE ITEMS I HAVE RECEIVED HAVE ALMOST ALWAYS BEEN VERY GOOD QUALITY, BUT A LITTLE PRICEY COMPARED TO OTHER PLACES. THEN TACK ON THE SHIPPING, WHICH COULD EASILY BE MORE THAN WHAT YOU ORDERED. CURRANT SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE FREE SHIPPING WHEN A CERTAIN AMOUNT IS ORDERED, PLUS THE PERCENTAGE OFF CODES.
Answer: The service is bad. Really bad. I couldn't. Then they couldn't find me as a customer, then they said they were shipping today, then they said next week.
Answer: Wanted multi-packs of birthday cards for my mom's stash, and were much cheaper than UNICEF I normally order. Never again will I use them. Extraordinarily poor service getting missing item from shipment sent. Back to UNICEF!
