CVS has a rating of 2.0 stars from 419 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about CVS most frequently mention customer service, next day, and several times problems. CVS ranks 797th among Cosmetics sites.
CVS delivery offers the convenience of receiving healthcare products and prescriptions at your doorstep. The plus side is the accessibility of ordering essential items online. Additionally, their delivery service ensures timely arrival of medications and healthcare essentials. However, there are drawbacks to consider. Delivery times can be inconsistent, with some orders experiencing delays without clear communication. Furthermore, issues with order accuracy and packaging have been reported, leading to dissatisfaction among customers. Overall, while CVS offers convenience, improvements in delivery reliability and order accuracy would enhance the overall service.
CVS Pharmacy web site is the WORST! I can never speak to a pharmaist. They almost never get my prescriptions right. They do not validate that my medication is covered by my insurance. My doctor's office called in my latest precripts FOUR times and they still do not show them. Can anyone recommend a good pharmacy in Katy Texas? Thanks, FRUSTRATED
I loved the CVS 829-0280 pharmacy that they have improved, Pedro and the pharmacy staff, with the second Asian doctor pharmacist, EXCELLENT staff, my family loves them, the second opinion goes to Julio and Mateo, super workers, nice customer services, Today I heard Mateo say in a loud and cheerful voice I LOVE my JOB and I loved it, I APPLAUD the enthusiasm of the place and the good vibes. I really appreciate the place and its staff. This note is from the SALICIO family
So I ordered online, never received anything so I call twice in a month they tell me the order was cancelled I said okay can I have my money back they tell me you have to talk to your bank... what?
Put in for a simple Rx refill. Literally 3 weeks later they still have multiple excuses why it wasn't filled. First they said it was not in stock on the phone then after the app says 2 weeks later it will be ready on the coming Sunday I go there the next day and they say oh the insurance won't let us fill because it only for 30 days and not 90 days. Wtf is that first of all! You should be able to get 30 days if you want, who is the insurance dictating how many days of meds you can get. Then cvs corrected that and then said it will be ready the next day. I drive over there the next and now they say it's out to stock so now it's been 3 weeks. Later after I'm home they said cvs in another part of the city has plenty so why can't they transfer the med to my primary pharmacy in the first place instead of making me wait weeks for a med that I need to take daily. I use the app to get the medication delivery. Delivery person apparently came to my complex but never rang the doorbell or anything. I call Cvs and they said med was returned to them because no one opened the door! Seriously?! They can't reset it in their system so Now I have to wait another few days to get the med. This is absolutely ridiculous!
Tip for consumers:
Thinking of changing pharmacy so I don’t have to deal with this crap again
If you call CVS about the pharmacy make sure your phone is 100% charged because you will wait.
Once they have your prescription they will badger you to renew even if you do not need it.
I have ordered some items from this site that they did not carry at the local cvs drugstore. I had no problem receiving my items. I have been very satisfied with this site.
A medication was filled and shipped even when I replied to the text that I don't want this medication. This medication was charged abnormally high.
The customer service is one the worst experiences.

The reason I stopped getting my Rx filled at CVS is that they shortchanged my prescription and when I complained (which took persistence) they sent a corporate bean counter who couldn't count to deal with it — what was going on? I have my suspicions the rest of the RX went into personal use — I got 16 pills instead of 32 and it was a noticeable difference. When I went to refill, CVS said they had given me the full amount, but the RX bottle said 16.
Tip for consumers:
Count your pills
Calling CVS is a nightmare. They will place you on hold FOREVER and you will get disconnected. They WON'T WORK with you at all. You will only hear about ALL VACCINES you can get thru them, I guess they get paid for any vaccines you get. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Tip for consumers:
It seems they are doing a favor for you. Don’t even think about asking questions about price. The pharmacist will be upset for your questions, again, I NEED TO KNOW HOW MUCH I will pay for the medicines I’m buying. If you can, get a different pharmacy.

I Use The Pharmacy I Feel so special when I Am told that I am Missed By my Pharmacist and She Showed Concern And She Hoped I was feeling Better I Felt That she Gave me the best Care and Was Happy To See Me after sending a friend to Pick up my Medicines I also asked a Question about How I was feeling and she Told me That It was something In my Medicine That was making me feel The way I did I then Told my Doctor and She was 100 Percent Correct.
I had my covid test done at CVS.
They advertise results in 24-48 hours.
It's been over 48hrs and no test results provided.
I won't do business with them again.
In searching for the Johnson & Johnson COVID 19 vaccivation CVS shows on their website it is available at ALL their locations, in stock and ready to dispense. When yo attempt to schedule the vaccination it ONLY offers one brand, two shots.
I called the "Help Line" asked for the as advertised Johnson & Johnson Vaccine I was abruptly hung up on. I called back and was told the NONE of the CVS locations carry the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine and they tried to get me to schedule an appointment for the two-step vaccine.
This is a bait and switch. It seems there is a financial incentive to lure in the unsuspecting people by offering ALL brands of vaccines BUT only actually dispense one.
As a result I am moving all of my pharmacy business away from CVS as the trust factor is shattered.
Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your time. Bait and switch.

Have spent 20 minutes trying to refill a drug. Text says ready to fill, website says not ready, ready drugs on website are not able to click thru for delivery.
Tip for consumers:
stay away from App
There are signs and advertisements online about walk in availability for vaccines, including covid-19 vaccines. I walked into two different CVS pharmacies without an appointment and was turned away with the reply, " You have to have an appointment. We don't do walk-ins." When I try to use the online portal to make an appointment regardless of what zip code I put in, I'm referred to pharmacies that are nine to 15 mi away when the one two and three miles away from me doesn't come up. It's very difficult to make an appointment at a convenient location. Finally to watch two to three clerks walking around in the store while leaving the front counter so that the only option is self-checkout is absurd. You cannot purchase gift cards totaling more than $200 at a self-checkout, we are limited employees of CVS, ergo you actually need someone who works there to make the transaction for you. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to find anybody who works in the store to actually help you out anymore. I'm just not using CVS anymore. It's such a crapshoot when you go there. Then you all wonder why you're losing business to online stores or Amazon? Just open your eyes. Tell me your customer service matters to you.

CVS is A $90 billion dollar company that treats their employees like they can't afford to give them a lunch break or hire enough people to cover shifts and call outs! You give employees IMPOSSIBLE insensitives for bonuses. If the managing pharmacist is an as***le and the customer puts in a bad review... it gets taken out on the store manager who is actually busting his/her $#*! to keep that store afloat. And it cuts into their bonus too. I know a manager at a CVS and she works more than her 45 hr salary... but constantly gets $**t on by the company. She double shifts. Shows up at ridiculous hours to unload truck and is still expected to cover a full shift and at times double. And then CVS has the audacity to deny her bonus or give her the go-ahead to hire more people.
Oh... and the head pharmacist... this A$$*OLE literally NEVER shows up on time. I've been there to witness this... anywhere from 5 minutes to a half hour late REGULARLY! And this is reflected on his other pharmacists and the front store employees!
CVS is a damn legalized drug dealer! They can afford to do better! It's not like they're ever going to get shut down if it they ACTUALLY REALLY took care of their employees.
FX CVS! EVERYONE should boycott CVS! Don't take out your frustrations on my the employees. Most of my them are overworked, underappreciated and most of the time, doing 2 or 3 people's worth of jobs at any given time!
Boycott CVS!
Tip for consumers:
CVS treats their employees like slave labor. I know MULTIPLE people personally who work for the company. This is my personal experience and I've witnessed it first hand being in the store. And one quick search online be at social media or even Google will show you that it's not just in my area. Pharmacy's all over a walking out. We as consumers of these places should be looking out for our fellow people and show support by boycotting these businesses to the best of our abilities.
I would give them no stars if I could. I am forced by my insurance to fill my Rx with this more than pathetic company.
Today more than 39 minutes on the phone WAITING for my call to be picked up to see if my Rx was recieved and filled.
When the very rude Pharmacist finally answered the phone, I asked him why no one answered the phone. He said he was busy with another customer, I asked for more than 30 minutes? Are you by yourself, he replied no.
There is absolutely no reason for any customer to be placed on hold for that length of time.
During the conversation, he told me he was on his tome. And I really got upset when hearing this statement as I was on hold for so long DURING business hours.
I have been to this Pharmacy and watched, many many times. While the Pharmicist sits there ignoring a call sometime 2 and 3. The techs do the same, chit chatting with each other as customers wait both in person and on the phone.
I LOATHE CVS and recommend to all, find another Pharmacy! CVS doesn't give a crap about you, just how they can line their pockets.
I went to pickup 2 prescriptions only to find out that the charleston ashley river rd liocation had been using a discount card for months and never ran my insurance! Really? So as they were running it, i wanted to know hia ling it wld take. Since the tech didnt bother to tell me as she walked away. Yhe pharmacist then proceefs to say, shes trying to help you. What? I didnt say anything about the tecnition. I simply asked how long it would be bc if i had too i wld just come back. Rude, and couldnt care less. When you have more bad reviews than good, maybe you should change something!
I'm going to try and make this short. I bought brand name makeup from CVS had a reaction to it. I know their store return policy. I had no receipt and had thrown away packaging. I called their 800 customer service number hoping with CVS care card they could locate the transaction number and help me out as I didn't want to just throw away the makeup and couldn't use it. The customer service rep was more than helpful and transferred me to someone in the customer care dept. They took my complaint and told me they would also contact the company for the brand of makeup I had bought. I also received a follow up call from someone else who deals with customer complaints. I wish I had names but have thrown away paperwork. They showed concern for my issue. I have been a shopper at CVS for many years have had my issues in store with customer service but for the most part in all the years I have been with them I have never felt like I wanted to stop patronizing them and go to a competitor. All I really wanted was to get a refund for the makeup and they did that plus more for me. I will also be contacted by the manufacturer of the makeup as that is their policy. I love CVS and they have a customer for life.
CVS ALONG WITH THEIR CLINIC IS THE WORSE. I WENT FOR STRESS AND WAS PRESCRIBED PRILOSEC. THE PRESCRIPTION COST 123.00 AND IT WAS ON THE SHELF FOR LESS THAN $20. I WAS NEVER GIVING ANY ADVICE ABOUT THE MAIN REASON I WENT. I CALLED AND SOMEONE CALLED ME BACK AND BLAMED ME. ASK ME WAS IT ABOUT THE MONEY. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? DO NOT GO TO CVS. THEY DIDN'T TELL ME I COULD GET THE PRESCRIPTION OVER THE COUNTER. THEY DIDN'T TREAT OR ADVISED ON THE REAL REASON I WAS THERE. EVERYONE THERE COVERED FOR EACH OTHER AND MADE IT APPEAR AS IF I DID SOMETHING WRONG.

In Alachua Co. Fl. Recently my otc healthcare insurance plan provider merged/partner with cvs to rely on and deliver otc healthcare products. I placed my monthly benefit amount order *******@cvs otc and once the package arrived in a thin plastic bag and I opened it up and all three products that I had ordered was severely damaged, I couldn't believe what I was seeing because the toothpaste was completely out of its original box and the original toothpaste box was completely split in half and the children cough and cold syrup original box was damaged as well as the theraflu orginal box it was severely damaged.I'm having a hard time understanding why would any cvs employees deliberately and intentionally mailed a customer inhumane unsanitary defective products, so what does that say about a well relied on and trusted pharmacy like cvs. I'll say that it's pathetic and reckless and doesn't care about the customer's safety to even ship products like that out to any customer's. Cvs shouldn't be allowed to partner or participate in any otc healthcare plan provider company, because their not reliable or professional and doesn't practice health safety steps when shipping customers health care products.

The cvs store on Atlantic Ave and 84th street. Is my favorite. The staff are very helpful and the managers are awesome, always willing to help and resolve any issues you might have.
CVS in Thurmont MD raised the price of my prescription from 20.00 to 40.00 in one month, I called Weis in the same town to see what their price was to find out it was only 12.00. Rip off!

Cvs pharmacy in New Lexington, Oh lied to me several times that my prescription was ready when it wasn't drove about 50 miles round trip to pick it up when they said it would be ready and they knew it wouldn't be until Mon this is Sat
I was super upset with one of the order I put it in recently. I just began to shop in CVS and online. I put the order on November 19th and had to wait over 2 weeks and last night partial of the order got cancelled by CVS. I called the order department this morning and asked if they can still honor the deal. The agent was very careless and impatient and I ended up having to cancel my entire order. I do a lot of online shopping all the time and never have to call so many times to check this order status and ended up having to cancel it. After the order got cancelled, I had to call another time to get my extra care bucks back. The first order department agent didn't take care of the whole process. The only thing I want to say it is so frustrating to deal with the whole process of this order. I waited for so long because this order is part of the Christmas gifts for my mother-in-law! I won't do online business with them again. I still will go to the store, but I will buy stuff on the other website.
