CVS has gotten worse and worse. The pharmacists barely speak English. They are understaffed. Long wait times. Long hold times when calling. Their app is terrible. The service is pretty non existent and their new multi dose pill packs is horrifyingly managed. I have been loyal to cvs for over a decade but it is no longer making my life better or easier. Time to move on.
Horrible attitude when confronted with their mistakes. Just in the last 2 months, blatant mistakes were made at front retail checkout and UPS check on 4 different occasions and each time, the clerk and/or followup supervisor tried to blame me for their mistakes. When proven wrong, they were passive aggressive, unapologetic and entitled. They acted like they were the customer and I had wronged them. It is clearly a corporate culture that breeds this when it is so pervasive
After making my first online purchases from CVS, the product I bought kept popping up on Yahoo and Fox and other websites. It is called targeted ads.
I sent CVS an email and told them I do not want my personal sales shared and that this is a deal buster. One has to be able to opt out. Some of this is PRIVATE.
No answer. Been a week. No more purchases will be made from cvs.com
This programs gives you "extra bucks" reward money. You use it just like currency. You also get exclusive coupons as a member. If you combine the too you can easily get a product(s) for free or almost free. I give 4 stars due to the fact the coupons are always a hassel to go through without the cashier trying multiple, multiple times. FIVE minutes at the register for 1 bottle of nail polish. But, just be patient and you'll get your reward!
CVS will never have all of your prescriptions at the same time. They will either tell you their machine is down or I have all but or our shipment didn't even come today Etc lies! I am now again without a prescription I must take every day. CVS does not care instead of just telling you you need to go to another location or another Drug Company all together they just let you suffer they we'll just get your money from the next person. So go ahead and die they don't care!
When I go to sign in on the CVS app for prescriptions, when I put in my password it always says invalid password. So I reset the password and the prompt tells me that it has been accepted, but then when I go to sign in again it says invalid password. So I go through the whole thing over and over again changing the password having it accepted and then it tells me invalid password again. There was a time when that app worked perfectly fine and I never had any trouble with it, but not now. I don't even want to deal with it anymore.
Since this page seems to be referring to CVS.COM and not their physical stores, I'll speak to my web site experience. Unless deeply discount via a special offer CVS.com is much higher than other online competitors. However, even worse, their shipping is PAINFULLY SLOW. I have ordered a number of times when a good deal can be had. If I order from Drugstore.com my order ships in 24 hours (or less) and I have it in 2 days or so. CVS.com can take 3-4 days just to ship an order normally and then you have to endure another 4+ days as UPS slowly moves the package from what seems to be their one distribution center to your home. Maybe you're lucky if you live near it... I don't. They need to get the orders out the door much faster and being such a large company have a few distribution centers like many online retailers so orders don't have to go half-way across the country. I am surprised they haven't tested their competitors and seen how far they lag behind.
I really wanted to give the site a 2 1/2. The product selection is often limited and inconsistent. The shipping, although offered "free" is extremely slow. Speaking to customer service about "normal shipping time" I was told to expect 5 - 10 BUSINESS days. Does it really take two weeks to ship a couple bottles of lotion and some deodorant? I like the convenience of ordering online but with multiple pharmacy options available within a ten minute drive I may have to rethink what I once considered a convenience. CVS is quickly losing points in my preference book.
CVS at 9 Nelson St. Leominster, MA *******. Went at 7:50 am. Nicolette greeted every person that came in and asked if I need help looking for something. She kept busy, once I needed her she helped right away. The check out went fast and smoothly. She was very polity. Thanks!
Tried it recently and love it!. Good products, timely delivered via shipping. Was what I expected, plus what a nice surprise - plus free gifts inside my box. Shampoo, lotion, body wash, etc. How nice - in this day and age when products cost both an arm and a leg, but the price was fantastic, and the free gifts were an additional breath of fresh air. Will definitely do more online shopping with CVS.com. Linda, Gainesville, FL
I don't understand all of the negative reviews people post about this company. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. I guess it's all in how you treat people. A t like an $#*! and get treated like one. Loosen up people!
CVS HEALTH. OTC Benefits through catalogue. Cx's should not receive any gummie vitamin or meds. Through the shipping or mail unless your packaging is to keep such like items safe from the heat. This common sense. You sent items you know will melt if not package correctly. Seniors have placed hope this benefit and to have your mind set on an item only to receive is not good. If it was an oversight ok but still the feedback from your customers should be taken seriously.
Trying to get my diabetic meds has never been harder. You are not the priority. I've never been on hold with the pharmacy for less than 30 fricking minutes. God forbid people need urgent medications. Fill time is always at least 45 min. Rude and disrespectful when I tell them what I need. In a rush to get u off the phone when you have already been on hold for 30-45 minutes. Unbelievable
I purchased an Amazon gift card from my local CVS in Nesconset, NY. Upon trying to redeem the gift card, we discovered it was fraudulent and the claim code was removed so I could not redeem it for its $50 value. I returned to the store but they said that they could not help me and I would need to contact CVS's Customer Service group. I opened an investigation and after ~3 weeks, they responded to me taking no responsibility even though the gift card was purchased in their store. They basically told me it was my problem and that I should try contacting Amazon to see if they will credit it me. The Custome Service representative was smug and totally not helpful. I strongly recommend NOT shopping at CVS because they do not stand by their sales.
Awful business. Wrong meds, refused refills on automatic refills not called in on time. Refilling a script I should have had 3 months ago from a doctor I'm no longer seeing. No wonder people have overdoses and getting the wrong meds. Moved from out of state transfered scripts. Wrong or unfilled on almost every script in the last 2 yrs. I spent more time on the phone to the doc trying to get refills they couldn't call about. I suspect it won't be here much longer. Wrong about of meds less pills than prescribed consistently.
I order online due to declining health.
I went to pick up my 4 items that I ordered the day before. I didn't realize they don't offer curbside pickup. I grab my cane and proceed to go into store. I see, what I assumed was my order, on shelf, behind cashier. She tells me I need to get in line. The line had 6-7 people in it. 32 minutes later, I finally got my order. I thought shopping online was to make shopping easier, especially for the handicapped. I definitely won't shop online there, unless I am able to have it mailed.
I ordered cosmetics at CVS.com because the stores have low stock on cosmetic items. I never received my order, but received a delivered notice from CVS.com. The notice said it was delivered on 4-21-20. UPS says it was delivered on 4-20-20. I called and emailed customer service and never could get a response. There were 2 vehicles in my driveway at the time the UPS person shows the product delivered, but they left it at the door? Why would they do that? They did not deliver it to the correct address as I was home and so were two other people, and now I am out $40 and no way to be compensated for the loss since CVS.com refuses to respond to my inquiries.
CVS used to make me crazy with their extra bucks, weekly specials, etc... they just made it confusing and it seemed that what was being promoted was never anything I wanted. I am very faithful to another store that starts with a "T", but one day they didn't have what I needed so I went into a CVS. The girl helping me was so nice, I agreed to sign up for Extra Bucks... great decision! They've streamlined it. You get emails often with their weekly deals, and you just click a button and it's transferred automatically to your card. I can't fit one more card in my wallet, so all you have to do is give them your phone # if you go into a store. You can also choose what categories you're most interested in to personalize what emails they send you, so it's not overwhelming. They have great deals on some of my favorite items often. Also, if you love high end beauty products, they have a very good selection online only. I saved 30% on a very expensive serum.
I've been in the Carepass plan for a very long time. For the past six months or so I've attempted to use my $10.00 at CVS and been told each time that I wasn't in their system. Ironically they continue to take money out of my account for the Carepass plan. I've called numerous times and they always told me (their customer service is NOT in the US) that they fixed the problem and I can use the $10. I went today (reminder this has been going on for over 6 months) to CVS and again was told I was not in the system. Again they took the fee out of my account. I canceled the plan and told the person I spoke with that CVS stole money from my account and that I wanted to be reimbursed (for over 6 months). He said all they could do is allow - yes he said allow - me to have $10. WTF! CVS sucks, they are thieves. If you are with this crooked program get out while you can!
The website is slow and crashes often forcing you to start your order over again. I spent almost 2 hours putting an order together on 9/3 using the 30% coupon, tried over and over to submit it and finally was successful or so i thought. Called to check the status after nothing showed up, they have no record of the order that i spent so long creating. They said they would take the order again but the discount expired. So i said no thanks, my being a customer has expired also. DONE. My time is too valuable to waste.
Answer: I have tried to speak to someone in their corporate office because I wasn't getting anywhere trying to reach a district manager or someone who was outside of the actual store since the manager was the problem and I was ignored just the same. I think they are so recognized and dominate so much of that market that they can afford to just let people complain and not do anything. I use Walgreen's even though they are a little more expensive I like that they treat their cus6with respect and they also respect their customer's privacy. The manager at the CVS near me called to verify my prescription on speakerphone up front so everyone could hear. I honestly believe they do not care if customers complain.
Answer: NOPE! CVS PRODUCTS ARE MARKED UP 3 TIMES HIGHER, THAN FOOD LION, BJs, WALMART, AMAZON. BED BATH BEYOND, WALGREENS, YOU CAN BUY THE SAME PRODUCTS AT THESES PLACES WITHOUT A COUPON AND GET IT CHEAPER!
Answer: Yes will never order online again very disappointed with the horrible cust svc
Answer: Can't wait for Amazon to get into pharmacy goods. CVS customers will flock to their service!
Answer: 10-20 minutes if you are picking up a prescription that's already filled (wasting in line). 30-45 if you drop it off + your normal 10-20 minutes in line.
Answer: Yes, you should do such!
