CVS has a rating of 2.0 stars from 419 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about CVS most frequently mention customer service, next day, and several times problems. CVS ranks 795th among Cosmetics sites.
CVS delivery offers the convenience of receiving healthcare products and prescriptions at your doorstep. The plus side is the accessibility of ordering essential items online. Additionally, their delivery service ensures timely arrival of medications and healthcare essentials. However, there are drawbacks to consider. Delivery times can be inconsistent, with some orders experiencing delays without clear communication. Furthermore, issues with order accuracy and packaging have been reported, leading to dissatisfaction among customers. Overall, while CVS offers convenience, improvements in delivery reliability and order accuracy would enhance the overall service.
CVS Pharmacy web site is the WORST! I can never speak to a pharmaist. They almost never get my prescriptions right. They do not validate that my medication is covered by my insurance. My doctor's office called in my latest precripts FOUR times and they still do not show them. Can anyone recommend a good pharmacy in Katy Texas? Thanks, FRUSTRATED
I just want to take this time to express my delight with my recent purchase. I had to make an urgent trip to the hospital because I was having trouble breathing. I lose oxygen when I walk so, I walk with oxygen. My uber driver took care of going inside for my prescriptions that were sent over from the hospital."VALERIE" was the person who assisted my uber driver. Thank you so very much for making this a wonderful trip. I greatly appreciate all that was done on my behalf. You should be held in high regard! I honestly cannot stop thanking you.
Please be so kind to continue to have a beautiful and blessed day. GOD loves you and so do I.

Had a manager, ( very young) reprimand an associate in front of me. When I told them I was displeased, she didn't say a word. Then she called me back pretending to be another manager. All in all, a horrible experience.
Used a pc with win 10 and firefox the cvs site has a start button then you upload photos from computer there is no indication if anything is being uploaded I waited 20 minutes and nothing. Tried again same result. Went to amazon photos and uploaded 385 pictures no problem and ordered not sure why the cvs site didn't work for me. Cvs fail.
If there was an option for negative stars I would choose that. This awful company failed to send out a gift card (that I paid $8 expedited shipping for) with the appropriate shipping method despite charging me for the expedited shipping. Worse, they had no tracking information on the card and after calling them 6 times the card was presumed lost and cancelled and reissued 8 days after the original purchase. The reissued card was to be mailed overnight mail - well it wasn't and the recipient received it 4 days late (and I had to call twice to find out where this one was only to find out that they shipped it later than I was originally told). For my troubles they're sending me a $10 gift card and apologized- really? That's the best you can do. After the countless hours I spent on the phone and the multiple screw ups they should have refunded me the $50 for the card and apologized profusely.
I ordered something from the online site because they sent me a 20% coupon. I put the item in my cart and left in there. The next day I received an email from CVS offering me an additional $5 off if I completed my purchase. So I completed my purchase on Saturday 2/15/14. Today, 2/18/14, I received an email telling me that they had cancelled my order. An explanation was not included. I called and was told that they were out of stock and didn't know if/when they were getting the item back in stock. I asked about buying the item in the store but they would not give me the same price as they offered online. This is nuts! I should have bought it on Amazon in the first place.
…. Stood in line for 45 Minutes only to find out it wasn't. Was told prescription will be ready at 11 am the following day. 2 attempt with a waiting time of 50 Minutes turned out fruitless- again wasn't ready! 3 attempt ( Pharmacist and 1 Technician working) again after a long, slow line and another 50 Minute wait and 3 people in front me they apologized and closed for the day! Unacceptable! CVS Pharmacy at Target at W 11th in Eugene, Oregon
Went to CVS this week. One person working the registers. She sternly advised that the self checkouts were open as her line grew. I chose not to use it, the lady behind me chose not to use it, and the gentleman behind her chose not to use it.
Frustrated, the clerk looked at me and told me I needed to check out down at the self check out. I commented that I have several gift cards and I am protecting her job. She commented that it was too late and those machines are supposed to be her 2 colleagues... wake up America! Stop using self check out and if need be, stop supporting corporations sacrificing service and costing jobs! Walgreens wins the customer service award currently.
Always the system is down or have technical issues. They always lose prescriptions and say my doctor did not sent them, even though my doctor sent them in front of me. Prescriptions that are covered by my insurance and always filled with no problems at Wallgreens, CVS say insurance does not cover even though it is always covered by other pharmacies. The only reason I go to CVS because it is within walking distance from my place.
I checked the CVS website for the availability of an item in Oviedo, FL. The stores at 8315 Red Bug Lake Road and 5650 Red Bug Lake Road indicated the item was in stock at both places. 8315 said is was "in stock" and 5650 said it was "in low stock." Well, guess what? Neither store had the item in stock. Lesson learned here is: Call the store to verify their website is accurate before you head out on a wild goose chase, wasting your time and gas money, and in the end turning up empty-handed. Thanks for nothing, CVS.
When I go to sign in on the CVS app for prescriptions, when I put in my password it always says invalid password. So I reset the password and the prompt tells me that it has been accepted, but then when I go to sign in again it says invalid password. So I go through the whole thing over and over again changing the password having it accepted and then it tells me invalid password again. There was a time when that app worked perfectly fine and I never had any trouble with it, but not now. I don't even want to deal with it anymore.
Many of my friends and I dislike the fact that CVS runs out of my medications. CVS doesn't even tell me when they are out of the meds when I order it! I thank God that I called the Post Office 1.5 days before I would be out of the drug. It took one entire day of my mother and I calling many other stores until we found a store that does carry my meds that I would DIE without daily taking! Then we had to travel 40 miles to the store that did carry my drug. This has happened several times now. I am going to tell my insurance to again cover me under the great store, Barth's Pharmacy, which I use for all my other meds. I only use CVS for one drug because of my insurance deciding to not cover this medication in any place except the very low quality store, CVS.
Tip for consumers:
I recommend that people do not use CVS pharmacy. Maybe if we all ask our insurance to use a different company, they eventually will cover us under more than one option. CVS costs the least for the insurance company, which shows that CVS is cheap crap. My friends and family will never go to CVS or use them again for shopping, medication or anything.

Prescription medication which I would die without taking: liver transplant immunosuppressants.
I have never had such problems with a purchase than i have with CVS. I purchased two items in which I wanted to return the following day. The receipt was "sent" to my email but I never received It. I called the store and was told without the receipt I can only receive store credit. I called customer service and was told the receipt would update in their system for 48 hours and to call then. I just called back from waiting 4 days and was told to call back in another 24 hours with a reference number. I will NEVER shop at this company EVER again they are awful.
Scott R and Ed of store 654 gave the best customer service. Scott and Ed went out of their way to help me in printing photo and look for merchandize.
Scott and Ed are kind and patient. Great example for others to follow!
I needed to buy a pre-paid card. The cashier told me to buy a card that was different than i one i already had. I asked her if the card worker for what i wanted, which was to buy games online. She asked another cashier and she said that it was better. When i arrived at my house, the card didn't work. One hour later, i returned to the store and i was told "sorry, gift cards cant be exchanged." which i was never told while paying.
My husband and I have been long standing customers of CVS. Spending hundreds on prescriptions and other products for years. CVS has always taken my coupons even if they were expired but now after spending over $150.00 at the Colchester Ct. Branch in miscellaneous items the rude branch manager I requested to speak with refused my 3 coupons with one of them that had just expired on the 3rd. I explained to her that I spend hundreds on perscriptions which I will now no longer use CVS but that did not sway her in any way! Shame on you CVS!
My daughters prescription was giving to someone else. The pharmacy asked her to wait because her prescription was given to the lady two cars ahead of her and they called the lady to come back to the store. She did and the pharmacy then gave the prescription to my daughter. The pharmacy stated they were sure it was okay.My daughter no longer shops cvs/pharmacy. Wal-greens got her, my mother, roommate and my business.
From out of town with no cvs card so ALL my purchases were not on sale! They could not oblige me by swiping a card so I could get sale prices... they wanted me to fill out info for a card, and only one check out with long line! Sure, I will do that and piss off all the people in line and in hurry to get home! Every singe store that I have gone to in my travels always swipes a card to give me the sale prices, but not CVS! So I will avoid CVS at all costs!
Very bad customer service and why they keep sending surveys if they dont care about the customer and im not talking about the store experience. Its the customer relation service. Looks like their job is just to forward your call to appropriate department. Atleast i have this experience.
They can't answer phones. You can call or be standing in the store when the phones are going crazy and no one seems to even care. I am forever not having my medication when I need to take it. I take Trulicity for my A-1c and they can't seem to ever get it on time. They wait until the day before I need it and then say oh we can't get it right now. This is ridiculous. Was with Walgreens for 20 years and never had issues. Sad day when insurance made us switch to this incompetent company.
I went to the drive thur for the pharmacy to drop my child daily meds off at 8:45 to be filled tonight. The tech said oh it won't be tonight why not y'all open for another hour and 15 mins he said she can't do it tonight Wowwww
I went to CVS today and I could not believe the price of a set of 2 optic white 4.5 each toothpaste for $17.99 when Shoprite has the same product for $11.99. I think these programs, care pass and extra care are ripoffs, they charge on top of that $5.33 a month for the care pass program and supposely give you back $10.00 a month that they get back with these exhorbitant prices. I think these prices should be controlled because it is incredibly deceiving what these people are doing. Needless to say I cancelled my care pass and plan NOT to go back and buy any of these products at CVS, Shoprite and Target have way better prices. Don't let these people rip you off!
Are not responsive to customer concerns or care. Never have Rx when needed and wont let you know when available or options, disorganized, unprofessional.

I have been dealing with cvs in interlachen Florida for over a year. They have gotten new staff that don't know anything. They lie and then laugh in your face. They fill a partial script for me and told me to pick up the rest today, I called first and was told because I got the partial it voided out the rest. They never told me that or I wouldn't have gotten any, I would've waited. Changing pharmacy as of today. I hate liars and won't deal with them ever again.
They don't properly train you the right way in the minute clinic. CVS will hire you then degrade you for not being properly trained. In the period of their orientation they will fire you on your day off then point the finger at you. Then to say you're terminated! They wouldn't give you don't stand a chance their be careful when looking for employment cause CVS doesn't give a damn!
Last week I waited five days for a refill of Atorvastatin, a very common station. When I went to the pharmacy to pick it up, they declared the medicine was lost.I was instructed to go sit down in the clinic seats while three people in the pharmacy began a mad scramble for my meds. After about 20 minutes they found them.
Today I am waiting for an Rx of Paxlovid, a drug which must be started within five days of texting positive for Covid. I have been waiting two days and trying to communicate with CVS. Time sensitive prescriptions should be a top priority. A very disappointing performance by CVS.
Tip for consumers:
My next step is to read reviews of pharmacies in my area and pick a new one.
