I just bought, for $150 a Marine Corps ring 4 $150.
This rain is not worth $50. I contacted them to let me know that I was unhappy with the product and explain why. Told them I wanted to return it they would not schedule a pickup label oh, and I am disabled. The woman on the phone said don't talk to me that way, or I can't talk to her that way. Just a word to the wise, I'll never deal with him again. If you've not yet been burned...
Received one that looked like it was carried in someone's blue jean pocket for a 100'years. Was supposed to receive a return shipping label since I have no way to print the label. Well haven't received it yet and my account was charged. With as much business as I have done with Danbury this is totally not acceptable. Was told by the customer service I would have the return label in 3-5 days that was 3 weeks ago! Not happy!
When placing order the site indicated two to four week delivery. Checking order status indicates shipping data six weeks after placement. No answer when calling customer service. Says message box full.
The pictures they post are seriously misleading. I ordered earrings for my wife's b'day in early January... they finally arrived February 26 after several excuses. The posted pic made them look to be a couple of inches long. In reality they're maybe 1/2 inch... plus at over $100 they were seriously overpriced. If there are faux diamonds on them you need a magnifying glass to see them. Fool me once... there won't be a twice! Shabby company.
I ordered three Christmas gifts on 12/10/2020. It's 2/3/2021 and they have not shipped yet! When I placed the order there was a notation that said they were not guaranteed for delivery by Christmas but there was and estimated ship date of two weeks. I was aware that they might not deliver in time for Christmas.
The estimated ship date has been moved out four times. The most recent was today and it is still an estimated date. When I called customer service two weeks ago I was told it appeared they had shipped.
I will never order from them again.
I have purchased 5 rings from the danbury mint over the last 4 years and have always been completely satisfied with there merchandise, it is very high quality and their shipping process is very fast. I would recommend them to anyone.
I saw so many bad reviews about this Co. I ordered a personalized pocket book, about 2mths ago, and every time I check the website, I see a different date. Just hope I am not disappointed eventually.
Ordered ring in October 2018, kept getting your order will ship on a certain date. Every time I checked the date would jump 2-3 days. Finally after 3 months ordered cancelled and explanation was ring discontinued for the Army. I see there are rings for Air Force, Navy and Marine Corp still up on website. Don't order them they won't have them. Very disappointed in this company.
I am sooooo disappointed in my Kamala Harris portrait doll. I placed my order Jan 20 and just got it a couple of weeks ago. The doll that I received in the mail looks nothing like the one they advertised. This was my first order with Danbury Mint and will definitely be my last! I'm including pics. Sharing on multiple social media platforms as well.
Order # *******. I Ordered a necklace for my wife. They advertise the cost as $99. You end up paying $114 including taxes. And then they forgot to update my Apt number on the address. I called up the customer service for the delayed shipment and she only said Ok ok ok and nothing else. She didn't have the courtesy to say SORRY. I am not sure about the product quality. Yet to receive this. I wanted to give -5* rating but somehow can't do that
Do not bother. I thought this was a dollar store gag gift from from my spouse on valentines day. Real roses? No way. Cheap cheap cheap fake rose like things jammed in a glass jar on top of some 5 cent gauze. 130 dollars for this junk. Just no and never buy from this company. At best he should have paid 20 dollars. Total scam and RIP off. In fact he could have done better at the dollar store.
I purchase a necklace from the I love you daughter collection. I have limited money this Christmas and that is difficult enough so I say this and thought, OK I can pay it off over time and the engraving and the necklace is something with so much meaning that I thought, this is a way I can get her something meaningful on my limited income. I'm beyond disappointed. The quality is cheap and lower than if I'd bought something costume. The engraving you need a magnifying glass to see. I'm beyond embarrassed to give this wonderful young lady I'm beyond proud of this garbage for Christmas but I have no choice now. Customer Service, don't bother you'll get nowhere. Sad by this scam. Do your research. Read reviews BEFORE you purchase. God Bless and Merry Christmas
I purchased my wife a custom purse with her initial and name on a tag, the tag always comes off, call and they send a new one,, it's not even a year since having and its falling apart stitch is ripping in different places, I ordered numerous things from Danbury mint and wont order from there again not worth the money,, everything just comes apart easy
I purchased this product for my wife to be delivered on Valentine's Day since I was out of the Country. It arrived two weeks late. When it was unpacked the silk flowers were crushed. The vase had a sticker with the saying on it, when it appeared in the photo to be engraved or something of a higher quality. Had I seen this in person prior to purchase I would have NEVER bought it, especially for $100.
Please be careful. Things are not as they appear.
My mother in law recently passed away, and we discovered that she had been suckered into spending thousands of dollars on Danbury Mint "collectables" that are now worthless. Run as fast as you can away from this crap.
My boyfriend purchased a bracelet for Christmas last year. After 6 months of wear ing it 24/7 the gold started coming off and turned a copper color in spots. In January he bought me a ring for my birthday same thing happened to the ring after 6 months. If he knew this was going to happen then he would of never bought the ring for me. But since he bought them within a month apart he did not know this was going to happen to either one. And since there is only a 90 day return or replacement policy we could not return either of them.
I'm a professional buyer, so you can take my advice: don't be fooled... the "collectibles" sold by the Danbury Mint are junk. Do yourself a favor, go find something better made and better priced at Target, Walmart, HomeGoods or Amazon. And don't get sucked in by the installment payments... everything they sell is at least 50% overpriced. Buyer beware.
I ordered a child's necklace from Danbury which came to about $140. I made the first payment then two weeks later they tell me I must pay up the rest of it before I can get what I ordered even though the address that I can make the purchase in three payments. They claim I owe them money which I don't and because I do not have the most uncommon name in the world there's at least three other people with my name in the city. I have no idea what they were talking about I'm wrestling with her I want a refund or pay it off and get the necklace because I was going to buy it for my granddaughter. All I know is one thing, I would never do business with this company again. To me, this is almost tantamount to a bait and switch. Until my credit card statement comes, I cannot show you the purchase that I made. I can probably two weeks when it arrives and I honestly don't know if I should wait till then or not I'll let ylsitejabber make that decision. If they wish to withhold this until my statement comes, that's fine. However please acknowledge the email that this is being sent from because I will update
Ugh! My father used to order coins from them. Now he is 94 and easily confused Somehow he wound up with subscriptions from Danberry Mint. I have called them and instructed them to discontinue all subscriptions, which they said they were doing. But then coins continue to show up in the mail, along with bills for those coins. Another one showed up again today. They seem to be completely disregarding our instructions. I have also repeatedly asked to be removed from their mailing lists. Also completely disregarded. My next call is going to be to an attorney. Beware.
My husband ordered a ring for me. The ad said no money down.
He found out much later that they would not engrave my name on the ring until
It was paid for. So my ring's delivery was delayed until he paid, even though
The Danbury Mint ad said he wouldn't have to pay a cent until he received the ring
And was completely satisfied.
I finally received the ring today.
I hope all the other reviewers are exaggerating about
It being worse than the cheapest costume jewelry.:(
