I Update: The rep did get back with me in the last couple of days.I e mailed the company from a new e mail account. The rep was kind enough to put tge website back up I was told by rep, at Deluxe Hosting that my web site would be put back on as soon as I paid the invoice.After thirty years using their business,.I had forgotten to pay invoice because my husband was dying of Cancer.I was told that web site would be pulled up right away, after paying invoice. After paying invoice, they have answered none of my e mails. When they usually answer immediately.
Loved them for many years with a 5 star experience. Then they significantly raised their prices and no longer answer the support phone on the weekends. When our WordPress got hacked at Deluxe Hosting the hacker implanted a virus in our simple machines forum. Deluxe Hosting's attitude was basically "Too bad, so sad" and "suggest maybe reaching out to a local technical school or college and see if there are any students looking for work experience who may be willing to help you."
I am very Happy and pleased with DeluxeHosting's web hosting services. I recommend them to my clients and friends. Their customer service and help has been excellent, the few times I have needed to contact them mostly for things I had goofed up and they were right there to help.
I want to say some more words of DeluxeHosting, it's a very well executed hosting company. If you are technical, they can help, if you are not technical, they can help! I like the way they provide their services.
This company is simply amazing. The most amazing thing about it is simply: Everything. A very very unbelievably great tech support and everything about it is great. I'm very happy using it. These guys are totally awesome and I mean it. I love them!
I am an old LiquidWeb customer, and stayed on to avoid moving. However there have been numerous problems. My service and sites have now been down for 11 days! That's crazy in todays world. I was told they were moving data centre, but then you spin up a new machine, create the vhosts, and then move, and then take down old server, so I don't know what they were doing that they can't restore in 11 days.
I got no notifications, no support, no replies to emails, no updates, nothing...
They don't have any backups, so I can't restore elsewhere (or rather the backups are on the same servers that are all down... OMG)
They have one thing to do. And their site promises 99.9% uptime and great backups etc...
Avoid, avoid, avoid.
When Telus decided to divest themselves of shared hosting, Easy Hosting wanted my credit card information up front. I don't know this company, of course they didn't get the credit card details. Telus called to push this, I declined. And apparently Telus didn't inform this new so-called service provider.
For the past month, I have been innundated with payment demand details from this company. No introductory calls, no "we'd love to do business with you," nothing but demands for payments. I politely requested they remove me from their list. Three times. No change. Their spam demands are sent out automtially several times a week.
These people are so bad at their jobs, they can't even remove an e-address from their contact list. And they want my money?! No F* way.
Tip for consumers:
Would YOU trust a company who wants your credit card information without any verification of their ability to do the work? (Bear in mind this is a monthly recurring payment.)

We are an agency and tried to work with Deluxe Hosting after they purchased Liquid Web. Aside from the fact that their servers are inadequate to handle WordPress, they won't issue a refund to my client. We tried to access her cpanel to move her to Google Apps, but that too wasn't working. The end result is this review and my client is cancelling (even though they won't refund her). Deluxe Hosting is unethical and using cheap hardware.
There are lots of space, little down time, great support, I couldn't ask for anything more!
There is so much packed into DeluxeHosting hosting plans, email, databases, and I love how I don't get punished for having lots of visitors!
They hit your credit card automatically. If you try to cancel they tell you to email *******@deluxehosting.com with your invoice #. Then they never credit you. The representative in billing just told me once they hit your credit card you are contracted for a year.It's in their terms and agreement. Even though I canceled the hosting and I do not have the service they are still billing me $249.48.
My account at liquidweb was sold to Felix host. They support is awful. No reply to support request for two hours. They stink. I'm paying a premium for this account and getting no support. Stay away from deluxehosting.com.
They've been a breeze to work with. There were times when I thought the transition from LiquidWeb to DeluxeHosting would have been difficult, but they rose to the occasion and worked overtime to make sure my sites were running properly throughout. Even went the extra mile and helped me with my DNS.
This is my second recent poor experience with Deluxehosting. My outbound e-mail was blacklisted and bounced to important business contacts because someone on the shared hosting server assigned to me (unrelated to my domain) was compromised, as a result of poor security. The advice from Delxuehosting was to use my ISP's SMTP server while they fix the issue. I think this was intended to be helpful advice, but my ISP's SMTP server will only support their domain name (e.g. *******@cox.net) not my business domain name, which is precisely why I pay for Dexluehosting, defeating the purpose of a business account. At the same time, they only partially fixed the issue, and I had to go back to advise that my domain was still on another blacklist, during which time mail bounced. Poor quality.
Our business website and email were migrated over to DeluxeHosting when they bought out LiquidWeb. In the last couple of weeks our wordpress site was hacked and every time we tried to work with them, they blamed it on our site even though there were multiple reports out there of sites being hacked and down. At the very end of our terrible experience with their support our site was even turned into a phishing site to get Paypal passwords. They would not assist us in migrating to our new hosting company, and we had to do the migration quickly because of the effect on our business of having our website and email down. I personally was unable to configure my email client on my Mac to pop my email, or even IMAP, despite using the settings listed in the email help in time. I've now lost thousands of emails related to correspondence with clients and other businesses. TERRIBLE.
The worst webhosting I have ever worked with. My websites were transferred to them from LiquidWeb because Liquidweb sold their semi-dedicated services to DeluxeHosting. 2 of my websites were removed/deleted once everyweek and they could not tell who is deleting them. Their answer is: Our logs do not show an unusual activities. Sometime they resotre the webstes and sometimes I do. Now they stopped even replying to my emails on who deleted the 2 websites a few days ago. STAY AWAY. The worst ever.
It only takes one opportunity to provide exactly what your clients needs, you guys did it! Now, this survey field requesting at least 100 characters is annoying!

Haven't really had any issues with their service. Pricing could be better, but everyone always wants dirt cheap. I will say that the inclusion of WordPress in the account made this phenomenally easy.
I can't say a single bad word about them. The prices are great value & the tech support is second to none.
Dealing with other hosts on behalf of clients makes me thankful I use DeluxeHosting.
