I have been impressed MULTIPLE times here. Margaret Hood and Kevin Courtney both went out of their way to help me and my sister in law register and plan for our weddings. They made us both feel special on separate occasions. All staff members were exceptional! The quality that most places are missing is here. They've had some of the best product selections too.
Called the local store 25 minutes away looking for a particular perfume, they have it great! Drive there and they don't have it. Meanwhile 4 out of 5 employees visible are on their phones. And brick and mortar wonder why retail is hurting!
I went shopping at Dillards a couple days ago in Hot Springs Arkansas and I asked an employee for help and she completely ignored me and when I asked again she had an attitude towards me. I have no idea how this unorganized place is holding on. I asked her for her supervisors number and she said she wasn't able to give it out. I did catch her name though Sarah.
05/02 Found a beautiful dress wrong size at the Brandon Mall Dillards…. Shanell Green the sales associate help me call the local Dillards in the area but not luck … I really liked the dress and was desperate…. I called the Dillards@ Town Center in Jacksonville and a beautiful soul by the name of Madlin Aziz picked up! When I say she took very good care of me… that would be an understatement… Today 5/4. I received my beautiful dress in time for the Wedding this Friday 5/6! I can't say enough about her professionalism and willingness to help! I'm so grateful! Thanks Madlin
So I was looking for a suit and a couple sports coats. A friend recommended Dillards so I visited the location at the Hamilton Place Mall in Chattanooga, TN. In the past, I had always had terrible experiences at other department stores (poor quality, poor fits, high prices, etc). Not the case at all at Dillards. The associate cordially asked if he could help, I told him why I was there, and he immediately went to work - in a very NON-pushy manner, mind you - providing options. I was literally in and out of the store with a Hugo Boss suit and two sports coats in less than a half hour for around $300. It was the best shopping experience ever.
I haven't shopped at Dillards for years! I heard there was a sale so I went to look and bought my daughters some dresses and clothes and was going to have them try them on at home and return whatever didn't fit them. First of all their sizes are way off! Their smalls long sleeve shirts aren't close to a normal persons arm length! The sales associate that helped me didn't mention when I bought the clothing articles that you only had three days to return the articles. I thought they were like any normal company and would return it no questions asked within three months. They wouldn't budge on returning my articles that were over $100 and now I don't know if I can afford diabetic supplies for my three children who have diabetes and I have no idea what to do with the articles that aren't close to fitting! Absolutely the worst company I've ever tried to work with! Please don't shop here!

By Ivanka Trump as I really liked the style and was unable to as it stated it was unavailable. I think Dillards is going the way of other stores. That are refusing to sell Ivanka Trumps merchandise. Is this store Democrat? Why get involved in politics when it comes to the general public and what they want to purchase.?
The formal dress in store was damaged so i ordered online for a overseas award event, the dress arrived the night before leaving so i removed the tags and packed and caught the early flight., when i arrive i hung up the dress and noticed there was stains all over the belt and the dress, when i called Dillards they said no tags not our problem even thou they had all the records of the dress purchase. Buyer beware, in store has rips and missed stitching and online has used items.
I have a prom in march, and I have to find a dress, right? Well, I've always gone to Dillards to get my dresses. I ordered 4 dresses to try on and only one was delivered. I called at 11 am and was hung up on. I call at 6:30, and I've been on hold since. For a store of this caliber, you would think there wouldn't be a huge wait, but nope! I've been listening to their Estee Lauder ad for almost 20 minutes and I'm about ready to throw my phone out the window. I have been waiting for over a week, and I still see my dresses as "In Stock". If you won't send the dresses, just tell the person purchasing. My order was over $700, and I only got 1 $85 dress in the mail that I have to send back because it didn't fit. Thanks for nothing.
Update: I was on hold for an hour and was hung up on. Called again and was placed on hold. Just go to the store if you want to buy their products. Don't order online because their customer service is horrendous.

A friend bought me a pair of boots for Christmas from Dillards.com. We both had covid and weren't able to get together until the beginning of February. I wanted to exchange the boots but they said they had to be exchanged by 1/25/22. Normally I would understand, but with the holidays and Omicron, I would think they would be more people focused, nope. They won't return them. So shop Macy's! They always work with their customers!
The last two times I ordered, it took two weeks to get the products. Absolutely unacceptable. I ordered 4 products from 4 different online retailers. I received products from the other retailers within 5 days. Dillards seems to take two weeks and tell you it shipped, burg the shipping company has no record. Terrible service.
So I have been wanting a Kitchenaid mixer for quit sometime. Black Friday weekend fave me the perfect opportunity to buy it. Dillard.com had a reasonably priced Kitchenaid mixer so my bf jump on it & purchased for me. 5days later I get an email that the order was canceled with no explanation. I call customer service & confirm it was canceled due to them running out of product. I was LIVID bc had we known we could have purchased the mixer elsewhere during Black Friday. I ask to speak to a supervisor & the only thing the offer is free shipping on my next order. & I have to CALL IN to order like it's 1990 to get that little $6 discount on shipping. It's safe to say I will NEVER shop Dillard's again EVER. Now I'm back to no mixer or face paying $500 for the mixer bc the sales are over
On the order page, they don't indicate that the item is not returnable. It is only on the order review. Be CAREFUL! They wouldn't even allow an exchange for a different size. Online shopping is not what it is cracked up to be.
My husband and I went to the Dillards at Shops Lane in the Avenues Mall to purchase a pair of men's shoes. We just wanted to give a shout out to Margaret in the Men's Shoes Department. Worst Customer Service. Needed an item very fast. Ordered it. They didn't offer any fast shipping. After two days the status was still Searching. I started to call them. First lady said she can't help me I have to wait. Second one took all my billing info and sent it to some department. Still noting. Third call tels me I have to wait. Then I'm getting a cancellation message on my phone. I'm calling them they say I have to wait my card didnt go through or they didn't know the real issue. And for everything that I'm asking they say we can't help you. I even asked for msome discount and they said no. Just lost my time. Better order from Macy's or Bloomingdale next time. I had an online order and the price was reduced, so I returned it and wanted to purchase at the lower price and the first person told me I had to wait 24 hours to re-purchase. That's the first time i ever heard that, so I go the following day to purchase and the manager told me that because they didn't sell the product in the store they couldn't sell it to me. Now I am totally frustrated! I ask them to order the product online and they said they couldn't do that either. The customer service and management are HORRIBLE! The only reason I gave one star is because I liked the product. The customer service needs a lot of help.
I ordered a dress for my son's wedding I just received it today it is absolutely beautiful. True to size I'm in amazement with how well made it is absolutely gorgeous I cried when I put it on so that just tells you how it made me feel I can't wait till the wedding to show it off thank you Dillard's for coming through I've shopped so many places to find a dress and nothing worked

As a former employee. Dillards is a HORRIBLE! Company to work for. They don't care, they will fire you about sales when there's no customers but they will keep the perverted assistant manager who sexual harass the young girls. This is store 432 in Shreveport. Jill is a mean and rude $#*! who talk to you so bad a make you cry. The Dillards! Don't care. We slave for them making them all that money but will fire you for stupid $#*! that's out of your control. I'm going tobtry my nest to reach out to the young girl he made so uncomfortable to where she quoted. Then she told the store manager at the time and all she asked her is, how you dress. Them $#*!es is going down.
As long as they sell Trump sweat shop items, we will block Dillards! I feel bad for the ladies in Clinique, and dresses, as weve been shopping there for years and they know us, but we will never go back. We are learning to shop on line, checking the suppliers and avoiding everything trump and trump trash.
A week before the big day, I purchased some wedding gifts listed on the Bride and Grooms' Dillard's Registry in person at Dillards at Haywood Mall in Greenville, SC. Like many items on such registries, they matched other items in the listed sets. Unfortunately, for the bride and groom, for whatever reason the wedding was called off the day before the event. Unfortunately, for me, I am now stuck with a mixing bowl set that does not match any of my existing kitchenware. The reason I am stuck - of the multiple items I purchased, the bowl set was on sale; and therefore Dillard's only allows you three days to return it, otherwise no refund - not even a store purchase credit!
My Husband and I stopped into Dillards last night (Saturday) and all of these 3 ladies jumped into one of the best customer services attention that I have seen in such a long time. Mary, Patrycya and Maribez were amazing. Answered all our questions and helped us find the perfume that I love. They also gave us some cool samples, which ever happens now a days. We can't thank these ladies enough, they all went above and beyond. We will come back soon to visit them again.

Dillards Will do everything possible to not accept your return. It an item is in less than perfect condition, they will not return your item, Even if you bought it that way. I learned my lesson the hard way. If you buy something with a cosmetic stain on it from trying it on, or even a snag, make sure you have the store clerk write down the issues with the item on your store receipt and have them sign and date it.
At Dillards, the customer is always wrong. I have been shopping there for the last 18 years. I have had so many issues at that store. The most recent one was the straw that broke the camels back. I canceled my credit card ( of 18 years) and will never return to Dillards again. Macy's, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdale's have much better customer service and return Policies. I consider myself a shopaholic and Dillards has lost out big time.
I just wanted to give a shout out to Stacy at the Dillards at the Town Center. She more than assisted me in the make-up area. Dillards is one of the few department stores that carry my make up brand Dermablend. I wasn't able to find my shade at the Dillards at the Avenues nor were they very helpful in assisting me at finding a shade that matched my skin. So we made the trip to the Town Center and were pleasantly served by Stacy. Her can do attitude and sweet nature made all the difference in my shopping experience. Thank you once again Stacy for your excellent customer service!

I returned shoes to the Dillard's at CarolinaPlace mall in Pineville that I had ordered on line. I didn't have the tag from the box, but she kept searching until she found what she needed on the computer. She saved me a return trip to the store. You're store is the best!
I like Dillard's, but I am cancelling my Dillard's card because I can't gain access to my online card services account because I can't remember my user name. I called to have it reset, they transferred me to Wells Fargo who told me there was nothing they could do because it was Dillard's account services and they transferred me back to Dillard's. I just paid my balance by phone and will now cancel the card.
I order heels in advance and I planned to get my heels before January 15, but order status didn't change and I text support by myself and just after that they text me that they have problem with billing information in my order and a because of that they didn't process my package and I have to cancel order. I'm so upset I will never order here again and I will never recommend this place for anyone.

After being offered a sale price adjustment and 10% off I was disconnected I called back after a 30 min wait the second girl said 25% off no price adjustment. I explained to her the first women said the skirt went on sale a few days later from 98.00 to 58.80 and she was going to adjust it. I said this is crazy.
Finally a supervisor Mariah said 20% no adjustment? Why wouldn't I just return it and

After all you sent a skirt with a grease stain?
I have told my husband to take it back to the store and get himself a full refund.
No birthday gift for me.
