I have been impressed MULTIPLE times here. Margaret Hood and Kevin Courtney both went out of their way to help me and my sister in law register and plan for our weddings. They made us both feel special on separate occasions. All staff members were exceptional! The quality that most places are missing is here. They've had some of the best product selections too.

ONLINE BUYERS BEWARE! FOR DILLARDS if I could give lower than no stars I would…ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, when ordering Doona strollers online from Dillards. I live in Texas and ordered this as a baby shower gift for my daughter in Ohio. The stroller received from Dillards AR Distribution Center was a complete knockoff of the stroller, not a Doona at all. We have a picture of the box that was delivered from FedEx that even shows it's not an Doona! After numerous calls and emails we were basically told it was our issue and to take it up with Doona. This is not a situation of a return because I didn't like the stroller, this is I DIDN'T GET WHAT I SPENT $650 for…the item sent was cheap and worse missing parts! It is clear that Dillards is at fault but they refuse to fix and show no remorse. Clearly the folks in customer service lack training and management avoids communication all together. I will share my personal experience to help others avoid this heartbreak and I will NEVER shop at Dillards again. DOONA on the other hand was amazing - 5+ stars. I shared my story with them and they reached out immediately to apologize for this nightmare. While not their issue, they understand compassion and I appreciated the quick response. I have since ordered the stroller directly from Doona (yes I had to pay double to get the right product, no thanks to Dillards) and am very pleased with the product. Live and learn…I hope this review saves someone making the same mistake this first time grandma went through.

Be careful if you decide to order something from Dillard's. I just had the worst experience after ordering a dress. The first dress was damaged - the hem was falling out. I sent it back, and the second dress had the same problem. Unfortunately I didn't see the damage until I put the dress on right before my event. Dillard's says that I should have called them because now they can't verify that I didn't cause the damage. What on earth would they have been able to do at 4:30 p.m. on a Saturday night when the event started at 5:30 p.m. I would recommend you find another more reliable store, one that actually believes in customer service and quality.

I bought a dress for my sons wedding in September in May. Unfortunately, I had a kidney transplant two weeks after and have had multiple complications. I am just now getting back on my feet. I lost 20 pounds from being so ill. I need to exchange it from a size 14 to size 12. It's not on sale and both of those sizes are in stock. The tags are still on it. It has never been worn. They have absolutely refused even with medical records. There is no exceptions. Where is their compassion? Customer service
I'll try to have the pieces I ordered fitted, but wanting that just like everywhere else the fabrics are labeled incorrectly- wool blend has 0% wool. The size chart isn't even close to the correct sizes. Not a happy online purchase. It's basically an over-priced Amazon! Same problems, just more expensive.
They also ship using multiple methods, so one item will come ups, another usps.

I ordered a pair of shoes for my wedding. To my surprise, when the delivery finally came the shoes were two completely different sizes and very evident they were not new and had been worn. Calling customer service was 30+ minutes on hold just for them to tell me I have the pleasure of driving 45 minutes to my local UPS store to return these garage sale shoes. I do not recommend this retailer. Used goods sold as new, they clearly don't even check product to ensure shoe sizes match AND you will be in for a treat trying to connect with customer service giving up at least an hour of your life to get things corrected.

Don't use this site. They will sell you used, clearly customer returned items. They don't even check to ensure shoe sizes match. Customer service is at least a 30-minute hold time just for them to tell you that you need to drive them back to a ship center to get your money back. Not a trust-worthy retailer.

Made a purchase in September and the shipping company lost the order. I contacted customer and my credit card company. The package was eventually found and resolved. Placed another order earlier this week and it was cancelled a few days later. I called today to inquire and they said that because the lost package incident last month, they would no longer sell to me online. I was totally dismissed on the phone when I tried to explain. Poor customer service and please think twice about buying from them online. If they lose your order and you try to resolve, they may cut you off. There are other sites to buy the same product with better service.

I absolutely despise companies that are like this. THEY made a mistake and made ME pay for it. I emailed multiple times and never got a single response. I would not recommend it at all, plenty of other companies actually have good customer service, so go elsewhere.

I attached a photo of the only email I ever got. Notice they failed to tell me I would be the one paying for the return, despite the return reason being damaged shoes.
I ordered sample fragrance boxes to find the contents to be depleted. After I've given boxes to family, their recourse was to collect the boxes to return. Really?!? Bad customer service!
You may not get what you paid for! I will not purchase from them again.
This company seems to want and need people to apply for a card but they don't care and won't tell you it's a hard credit hit. Also In most departments the employees are treated very badly, even professional workers like my roommate. Don't help dillards in college station. Here's an image of a top trying to prove I'm a person. They mistreat workers like Walmart does or possibly worse.

My god... stay away from this site. They have like a 5 day processing window, and then their free ground shipping takes like another 7 days... if you want anything quick, do not buy from here. Also, if you want to talk to their customer service team, have fun waiting on hold for 30 minutes before being told there's nothing they can do and basically to screw off. Rude, obnoxious, old ladies working the phones/live chats. Horrible.
One of the best online experiences I have had. I only wish they could do something about their "site feedback". It seems it doesn't work. I clicked a lot to put my review there, but my clicks were useless. Anyway, I was searching for a gift for my 8-year-old son. Came across many options to choose. I'm sure you can find a good pair of trousers or toys or anything else for your children too.
I spent 1100 on a vintage handbag and within an hour noticed it didn't zip well, they flat refuse to back their products once they have your money. Nordstrom and a ton of sellers on eBay guarantee them, truly they are not great quality for the money and you can get better service anywhere. Dillard's has really awful customer service in comparison to Nordstrom, Neiman or even eBay.
This store is absolutely the worst, none of these associates want to help, they just want to stand there and make money. Their departments are filthy and full of mold and rats. I can safely say that I'll never shop there again after the associates in the shoe dept started to swear at each other because they were trying to make commission off of me. Really terrible service even with managers. I asked to speak with the store manager and they said he was unavailable because he doesn't speak with customers. That whole department store will be run down thanks to the people who are running it. I'll give it a couple years before they go out of business.
Bought 2 dresses for my daughters and it was torn after second use. Went to return and received the worst treatment and terrible customer service and they refused to return despite paying more than 100$ for a dress that does not worth a penny. They also refused to connect me with manufacturer.

I purchased a pair of UGG's for my girlfriend for Christmas. I payed full price $215.00 after taxes. My girlfriend unwrapped them on Christmas day and was extremely happy. As she tried them on and got to comparing them to an authentic pair, she noticed something didn't feel quite right. The stitching was different, the UGG tag on the back had odd spacing and sat a bit crooked. The lining on the inside could be separated from the outside and wasn't one solid piece. Dillard's sells counterfeit UGG's and charges full price. Do not purchase any shoes from this company! They should be prosecuted as would anyone else for selling counterfeit product's.

I ordered a purse. It shipped very fast and came with 3-4 days. However I had to return it. Which they charge you around 10$ to return! Lets just say it been a month since the return and I have yet to receive any notice or my money back! I called and emailed multiple times and never can get through to anyone! Save yourself the trouble of ordering from here!

She wrote up a ticket of sale, showed my drivers license, gave her my Mastercard. She processed the sale and THEN explained the slacks were NOT in the store and they would be shipped to me. Immediately asked to cancel the charge, she gave me a receipt. Waited over a week and checked my credit card account, NO credit, was charged the $74.00 amount. Waited again then called the store, got a run-around and asked to wait for the credit, they agreed I should not be charged as I have a credit slip. Still waiting and no credit. Just called the store talked with Darel, he tells me to come to the store. Who pays for my time and expenses? There are too many stores to shop in and I can see all the bad Dillard reviews. As a former employee, I was instructed to utilize target marketing. Basically racial profiling in which discrimination is encouraged. Poor management and the store manager is not professional. As an employee you were instructed to do other things I felt was unprofessional towards the public. This happened with several employees at the alabama spanish fort store.

When trying to return an item, it took so long to get customer service to send me a label when I returned my item they said it was four days too late. I tried to talk with the store. I tried to talk with the manager I tried to talk with corporate customer service That became a full-time job so I gave up. I will never shop here again and you should not either. Dillards is on its last leg thankfully, they won't be around next Christmas!

I went to Dillard's to buy a suit but there was no one working in their suit department. After standing around for 10 minutes finally a girl from another department came over and told me that their suite manager didn't come to work.
Beware- any item that is 65% off has a 3 day return policy and that is still at the discretion of the store. They are ‘supposed' to advise you, when you make the purchase. Did not receive that warning. Returned an item bought for Christmas and had to call a manager. Could only receive a gift card and had to present my driver's license. I'm done with that snooty place.

I ordered a gown from Dillards and received an empty box. Called to report it. 24 hours later, they denied my claim. I have spoken to multiple customer service reps and everyone has treated me like a criminal and humiliated me. I am a 64-year-old woman and have never had to file a claim with ANY company before but understandably do not want to pay for something I have not received. They did not tape up either end of the box that the garment was supposed to have been in, the box had been crushed and the end had splayed open. I thought Dillards was a good company, but boy was I wrong. New mission in life… Tell as many people as will listen about how horrible this company is. Do yourself a favor and never order online from this company and as for me, I will never step foot inside one of their department stores again. Have been a regular customer for decades, but never again.
