I have been impressed MULTIPLE times here. Margaret Hood and Kevin Courtney both went out of their way to help me and my sister in law register and plan for our weddings. They made us both feel special on separate occasions. All staff members were exceptional! The quality that most places are missing is here. They've had some of the best product selections too.
Called the local store 25 minutes away looking for a particular perfume, they have it great! Drive there and they don't have it. Meanwhile 4 out of 5 employees visible are on their phones. And brick and mortar wonder why retail is hurting!
Today, I went to Dillard's in Wellington to buy a blouse and ended up buying a whole new wardrobe. Sue and Danielle, located in the downstairs women's department, were so lovely and welcoming. They spent hours pulling me together with pants, tops and dresses. There was no pressure to buy and we talked and laughed the whole time. I felt like I was in a small boutique with impeccable personalized attention.

Freda Merendine at the fragrance counter is an amazing employee! Freda knows her stuff and makes everyone feel comfortable. She also will provide a sample of the fragrance you like which is fantastic— that way you can try it with your normal workout, deodorant, etc.
Poor management that violated labor laws, HIPAA, and basic ethical standards. The labor posters, ethics hotline and policies are just for looks and not actually followed or enforced. Corporate policies are violated regularly. Reporting to Corporate does no good. Was told by manager that Dillard's attorneys always have her back. Disgusting.
Tip for consumers:
I no longer shop there even with employee discount because I won't support how they treat people. Trying to find new job now.

I am an employee. Shipping is free depending on the amount you spend. Refunds are fully given depending on whether item is on sale or not and how long ago you bought it.
My husband bought me an expensive coat on Christmas Eve in Colorado Springs Mall. I loved the coat but over the next few days almost every button came off. When I got back to Wyoming I found I was short one. Redeemed all the others, thought I would look for another. About a couple weeks later I noticed a long thread hanging off the back. Just the beginning. Next I started seeing pulling. It was a tweed coat. Lots and lots of pilling. I had a ticket to fly down to my daughters mid February so I thought I would take it back and show them them. Much to my surprise, they could have cared less. They said it was past 30 days and it was worn! Well of course it looked worn! A whole 6 weeks! Too bad! I said I don't live here! But I shop here when I come. Too bad! And they walked off! Coat and scarf $200! Never go there again!
I visited a Dillard's store in Chandler Arizona. You cannot try shirts without buying them! Petty much they want you to buy a shirt if you try it on. The impression I get is the sales associates are lazy and do not seem want to work and attend to customers needs.
Very bad customer service!
I went to Dillard's to shop for gifts for Mother's Day only to find some very unhappy sales clerks. I felt so strongly that there is a real problem with the way these employees are treated. I will never shop there again. I have notice this before but this time it was way too bad.
Giving a one star for their return policy. You would assume that in a world of free returns that they would have the same policy. If you want to return anything, just know that if the item is less than $150, then they will charge you $9.95 for a shipping label. This was my first and last time shopping with Dillard's, online or in person.
Absolute worst customer service and refund policies. I received a gift for Christmas and it put it over the 30 day return policy. They were unable to even do an exchange for the right size and when I asked for a manager the customer service agent disconnected our chat. I was able to use an incognito browser to reopen chat and had another frustrating experience with a useless representative. I filed an online concern and after 13 days have still not heard back even though the automated response said I would have a response in 72 hours,
Long story short STAY AWAY and spend your money elsewhere.

Ordered some pieces online and the shipping was late. I decided to call their customer service, waited for their answer and they said the order will be delivered within 1-2 days. But then 4 more days have come, and only them did I receive it. Will not order again, don't want to wait for it for half of my life.
Received christmas gift that needed to be exchanged/returned. Receipt (see photos) indicate 30 days for refund or exchange. The gift was purchased 12/23/2021, tried to exchange/return 01/04/2022 and they would not honor. Said it was only 3 days However the receipt does NOT indicate 3 days-it says 30 days. I called manager the next day who said "its not my problem" here is the number for corporate! This is why the store is always empty.
Tip for consumers:
DONT give them any business unless you care to be cheated and certainly dont expect any kind of help or customer service. This entity does NOT know the meaning of customer CARE

I purchased Burberry Her, and Clinique Happy. The shipping was extremely fast, the product was outstanding, and the packaging was wrapped with delicately. Thanks so much Dillard, I wish everyone can experience how excellent your service is.
Tip for consumers:
They have everything

Dillard's sustormer service is the worst! Kay unger dress size 12 from Nordstrom is a perfect fit. From Dillard's the waist will fit, the bust won't. And for the price they sell them, the least they can do is accept a return or an exchange! Unless you are walking into a Dillard's store to try something on and get a good fit, don't waste your money! A very disappointed customer!
Worst customer service I have encountered in a while. Don't try to return anything because it is very difficult and the employees are rude. DO NOT open a credit card with them. If you don't use the card frequently they will lower your limit and hurt your credit. Just don't do it! Shop at Nordstrom... you will be much happier and will have zero hassle with any returns you need to make.
Tip for consumers:
Do not get their credit card- they lower you limit if you don't use the card and it hurts your credit.

Refund depends on how long you have the item and if the sales associate feels like helping you with a return or not.
I have had a bad experience with them from start to finish. The Customer Service Representative are Rude and the Supervisor is to. I am not sure if She was even the Supervisor but I'll tell you one thing...Never Again.
Tip for consumers:

Nothing...lost my money
Terrible, don't even try getting any help, exchange or money from shoes that fell apart during online covid shopping... I used to appreciate dillard's, but stick to Nordstrom, they never fail their customers..
Corporate only wants your money and does not care about their customers.
Jerry (from corporate) talked crap about a suggestion a customer had given, even stating that she wouldn't know anything about what customers want, right after she walked away, in front of associates and other customers, including me.
This happened a few months ago, but I thought it should be posted so customers know how much they should avoid giving these corporate people any money.

Tip for consumers:
Corporate is a group of scumbags and Jerry is the worst of them. Either fire him or lose over 1000+ customers who have signed a petition I've created about never shopping at Dillard's. Have signatures and evidence to back everything.

Would never buy anything from them.
Trying to complete a set of china as a gift, I ordered some pieces online. No original boxes (unlike EVERY other piece I've purchased from this manufacture elsewhere). All just piled loosely with paper in a single big Dillard's box. The pieces were dirty, one showed dark scuffs on the bottom where it had clearly been displayed, and the lidded item had patches of sticky adhesive where the lid had been taped down at some point. No tape to be seen, though, as the lid was just moving about on its own. All the reasons I didn't risk buying on ebay.
Be sure you want what you buy here. Even with Covid issues, the 30 day return policy stands. I spent the first half of Covid on family property a days drive from town and could not do the return in time. Other stores have better customer service.
I received my order today. I have always received orders in plastic with my clothing folded. As you can see from the photo, this is how it came! In the second photo it looks like someone stepped on it! I am not sure if I will ever order again.
Every time I go in this Dillards, I am followed around and ask three dozen times if I need any help or assistance. Why do the workers make you feel like a criminal or like you're going to steal something?
Customer service in pineville location is so terrible the only way to get attention is to look suspicious. Last time I make a trip in this store for a purchase. Customer service associates would rather stand in front of you adjusting a rack than say hello hi can I help you nothing. The worst bunch of employees I ever been around. It's a ghost town til they think your suspicion. No morals no empathy no sales from my pocket book.
Tip for consumers:
Tip is if you need assistance look suspicious they will come a running out then.

I bought a pair of boots online, and they sent me the wrong show size, I ordered a 6 and they sent me 8, I was reading other customer's reviews and had similar issues. When I called them, ladies were rude and they sent a complimentary label to return the item and will have my money back god knows when...
Don't buy from this website!
Be aware! Awful customer service and they are not serious...
I recently shopped for a sweater at Dillard's website. Whenever I put in the basket, it told me that I could get free shipping by adding $11 in purchases. So I did that. However when I went to check out, it still charged me a shipping fee. I called Dillard's and they said that this message was for only Dillard card purchases--but that is not what the message said. Beware!
Very disappointed with Dillard's in the Daytona-Volusia Mall. I purchased a $900 Hart Schaffer Marx, men's suit, that was on sale. I was informed by both the sales person and manager, that since it was a sale item, (but still several hundred dollars), it was company policy to not provide a garment bag. I got the feeling that they don't place much value on their customers. It would be nice if corporate management would review this policy. Thank you
Return policy is not clear I started return within the amount of days, but was not able to send due to death in the family and they would not accept the return. Also charged me for shipping. Talked to customer service and was generally cold hearted corporation. Will never buy from again!
