I was getting impatient and frustrated but at the end it works. It took them almost 3 weeks so you need to be patient. Also, asking to 70 pounds after 20 pounds of pre-order was a surprise but then there is not much of a choice.

The good part was that the unlock was as painless as it can be; no issues whatsoever. I would definitely advise to use their services.

28 dollars to review the phone, 70 dollars from criket and 50 from Samsung. The price a new one unluck is 150, they the face 28 after they will ask more and more money. Very bad

Lie in every conversation

Paid $28 and got an email saying it was being worked on. Then got another email charging more which isn't stated anywhere on the website. Then was told no refunds because that money goes towards checking the imei number and some other ridiculousness which I did on my own. It's definitely a scam.

After I was given a new iphone 4, this needed to be unlocked, looked through the internet and came across officialiPhoneunlock.co.uk, very easy to use and came back to me with some recommendations before it could be unlocked, carried these out with the phone they resubmitted by unlock request with the phone network provider and within two days all was sorted. Great service, would use again.

I am very pleased with my experience with Direct Unlocks. The process was straightforward and relatively inexpensive. The whole process took just under 4 days but didn't require much on my part aside from the initiation steps. My phone works great. Highly recommend!

Forty eight hours my foot. Two months later and it still says 99%. Come on now they get the money and run. I've emailed the and Luke responded. Emailed again no response. Emailed a third time and you guessed it, no response. Not even a scripted we'll get back to you. NOTHING! Too many countries involved. Think I'll be calling the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint.

I was skeptical yet I tried my luck and what do you know it was legit! They gave me up to seven days but got it done within two! I am so pleased with these guys and definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their phone's unlocked. I have already told people about them. It can get costly but it's worth it especially seeing as though I saved myself funds by doing this. I am very satisfied and it wasn't any hassle. This site is amazing go ahead try them! I wanted to unlock my IPhone X because I will be traveling. I made a payment of $29.43, then they asked for another payment of $72.39 because apparently the first payment was just to check if it qualifies for the unlocking. The second payment is to unlock the phone. After 10 DAYS they said that my phone has been hard lock and their "refund" is just using the money on their page. When I paid for the service it just said that refund was going to be provided if service didn't work but that's not true! They stopped responding my emails! 1 star still too much for this people!

Took them almost a week to tell me they failed an unlock that was meant to take 24 hours (by their own estimation). They then proceeded to ask me to pay an extra £191 after paying about £60. They claim they can't issue a refund after failing to unlock my phone because i apparently agreed to a no refund policy when i agreed to use their site. I don't think i trust this site enough to make any more payments.

Charged £23.99 for unlocking then a further £32.99 for unlocking - what a scam - none of these charges are clear at the start despite the fact they are happy to point you to their very small print afterwards. AVOID.

As the rest of us I was charged the fee of 28$ which was claimed to be for test to see if my device can be unlocked after that they claimed I can and need to pay 50$ more for the standard unlock.
After 3 to 4 days the claimed that the standard isn't enough and that I need the premium and pay 242$ more!
While they claimed that it's 100% procedure and in case it will fail I'll be getting refund to my card that issued the payment.

After paying it took them another 5 days which resulted in sorry but we are unable to unlock email from them.
And they didn't refund me to my card!
Only gave me an option to use those 320$ on there site which is useless.
All this while they are not replying to a single email for almost 2 weeks now and still counting.

So disappointing scamming people don't trust them.

We thought after reading all the reviews this was a legit company! Save your time and money and go elsewhere! It took a month for them to tell us this wasn't going to work. We had to contact them every week just for us to hear something, and even then it was very short and curt saying "We will contact you when we hear something"! No other explanation. Then when they said it wasn't going to work, you DON'T get reimbursed! You get 1/3 of your cost back in a service credit from them to try again on another phone! Why would I want to do that when they have no business being in the customer service industry to begin with! $50 down the drain with them... NEVER AGAIN!

I went through the process but ran into issues when time to pay. First they won't accept Discover, then I was told my AMEX was declined when I have a zero balance. I felt they wanted me to pay with my debit card so that I would have no recourse if things went south. Learned about the additional charges while reading these reviews.

They failed to tell you that after you make a first payment. There's an extra $50 payment. I didn't care for that. And I didn't care for the wait time But overall i'm satisfied customer because it did work!

This is 100% bait and switch scam of about approximately $30. They charge you to tell you what your carrier already tells you for free and then refuses to refund your money! Totally scammers at this website do not use them at all!

Don't purchase! They are a bunch of liars.
They offer the service for £19.99 (but that's without VAT) and AFTER making the payment, they ask you for another payment of £32.90 (+VAT), saying that the first one was to run 'some checks' (=lie).
Why would anyone pay more than £63 for a service that you can get for £15? They know that, and that's the reason why they don't tell you the total cost until you've made the 1st payment.
They are just trying to take advantage of people. Shame on you!

Bad business with Direct Unlock. You will pay first $23.88 for scan your phone to make sure your phone is eligible for unlock. Than a $45 charge to "unlock your phone" two days later you will receive an email saying that you phone was no be able to get unlock and your payment will no be return, but you money now are stuck with them. Than why you Pay $23.99 to scan your device for eligibility to unlock. The point its you will get stuck with $75 and a lock phone so don't use this site or any other site it looks like this one. You can thanks me later if the site don't offer money back please don't give it your money to this guys. I told you guys for experience lost $75

Do not use this service they make you pay different amounts three different times that's supposed to ensure that they can unlock your phone which totals about $70 in American dollars they send you a link that counts down when you have your phone unlocked but when it counts down it just resets and they send you an email that says they can unlock it they are a treacherous vicious company that scams Americans stay away

Very good service with clear instructions on how to unlock the device at reasonable cost. Kept me updated the progress through email so you will always be on track. The most important thing that you can still have the phone while it is being unlocked. Will recommend the service to my friends.

Don't do it, the initial charge is just an "eligibility check" then if your device is eligible you'll have to pay another 40$ just to unlock it, I didn't wanna gamble no more after I was deceived out of the first charge. $#*! these guys. On the dead homies!

The communication was great at the beginning, where I would get an update every Monday about the status of my order. However, after the third week I would stop getting those e-Mails. After 2 weeks had passed (it was stated that they would do the unlock within 10 working days) I have been told they would prioritize my order and that it would be done within a few days. However, they could not keep up with the promise and it took them about 6 weeks to get my order done eventually. However, I must admit that they delivered what they promised, even though it was a way too late. Thus 4 Stars from me since this is definitely not a fake site.
