Terrible experience with Domain.com. My SSL certification issue has been unresolved for over 40 hours, despite being told it would be fixed in 24. This has caused my marketing campaigns to fail, resulting in a $4,000 loss and forcing me to halt my project until April 2025. Customer support has been unhelpful, and the lack of urgency is unacceptable. Their negligence has severely hurt my business. Would not recommend for startups or anyone relying on timely support.
I tried to get rid of two domains no longer needed months ago. It didn't work. I got charged over $140 for those domains today AND the kicker is that they were not set to new till Dec 26. So, I was charged for 2 domains I don't need 15 days earlier than they should have been renewed with me thinking they were set NOT to renew. After speaking with a manager, I was untold they can't refund it once it is charged. This is so unfair. I called my bank and am stopping the charges.
What is it about Domain.com that caused 2 of my cards to be rejected by my banks as possible fraud?
My first bank rejected domains attempt to renew my com name. I tried again and again still no luck. Called the bank and while I was on the phone with their fraud department, attempted to renew my com as they monitored the transaction attempt. Still rejected, so I gave up on that card.
Next, I loaded another card onto Domain as my primary payment method instead. Guess what- yep rejected. Got on the phone with that cards fraud department. I assured them that it was legitimate transaction by me. I finally got the chat person to run the card again while I was chatting. Finally it cleared and was able to renew my.com name. It should not be this hard. I am suspicious of Domain. Com now because, if two of my banks initially thought it might be fraudulent transacting with Domain, maybe I should be also.
My questions where answered and site settings adjusted.
The above said will stay with me for the rest of my life that due to non renewal my domain was sold
Whenever e got stuck I received soup from the staff always which made me extremely easy to complete my website easily!

Generally good value and service. Problems arose when the renewal didn't go through but even before the current payment schedule had ended it would continually only allow access to the payment/renewal and blocked me from using account.
Very reliable with strong support compared to other service providers.

I constantly keep getting email messages that seem like there was a data breach regarding my username. It's an uncomfortable feeling that makes the domain website look like they are not protecting the information I'm providing for the account.
When you study it and make your choice rightly, domain is working for you
There's a new website platform, not used to it. We had several billing, contact info inquires for some of our domains, and other questions that just stacked up and would have liked to speak with someone via phone, that was not an option, so had to chat. The chat rep was friendly and helpful and resolved my issue in one chat, though since we had so many inquiries, it was a long chat. It would have been nice for domain.com to email me a copy of my chat, or offer it, they didn't (I would suggest this please).
It appears you have a new site and I am not used to it. I can't easily find a billing excel spreadsheet like you used to have. Is there an overview for your new website?

Very simplistic! Very pleased! It was easy for a non-proficient internet/computer user. The info in the system is concise. Hear me on this...this site that asks for this response... is another experience all together...The total experience was quite delightful.
A lot of bugs on your website. 1) Had difficulty with backing up my site. Support did the backup for me so that I could download it, but its only once. I need to have possibility to make backups whenever I want using your tools. 2) I am able to login to the system with my login/password, but I cannot change my phone number or the password, because it says the password is incorrect. But how I was able to login if the password is incorrect? 3) Wordpress and Elemental say I need to upgrade MySQL and PHP in order to improve the site performance, as it is currently unsatisfied (a way too slow), but the support said that I cannot do it and they had been working on it for more than two moths already (or even longer).
