My 400 and some odd dollar arrived yesterday. I was extremely pleased with all of the plants and trees we ordered. A Huge Thank You to Burgess! I love everything. Its all potted and ready to mature enough so the deer wont eat it. We purchased some new tree soil thats out there so grow grow grow my little babies! Great prices, lots of freebies. Love it! Todays date is May 1st, 2021.

I have placed an order for over $750 with e Burgess and I'm sorry to say that it was a total loss. I received rotten products, the survival rate of what I have received is about 40%. What's advertised as trees are twigs ready to die. After more than six months they have not filled my order. No one with an iota of brain would buy anything from this outfit. They must be shot down. The customer service sucks, their phones are off the hook must of the time and they are very rude if you can talk to them. Never buy anything from this scam outfit. BAD, RUDE, IRRESPONSIBLE, and Complete waste of time and money. Save yourself the anguish and frustration and don't believe anything they say. Their Catalog looks nice but it does not represent anything you would receive from those people

I placed an order for seeds and plants
When the seed arrived, all thrown in a green bag, they were opened and all spilled out and mixed together. Called customer service and they said to send back the shipping label. A month later and 5 "Contact Us" complaints they never answered me. Called and called only to get a busy signal. The replacement seeds finally arrived and I never opened the green package because I could hear the seed rumbling loose inside the package. Very same thing happened again. I am returning the seeds and have contacted my bank to reverse the charges. THIS COMPANY IS PATHETIC!
I will never order from them again. Can't believe they are still in business. Save your money and the headache... order from someone else!

I have been trying to contact this company for three months. It is obvious they have no personal client services as their line rings busy no matter the day or time I called. I don't do business with companies that have no customer service and will never again do business with them again. PS: I am Still waiting for the order I placed a month ago. Sharon Webb

This company is great.

I love this company. Yes the trees look dead upon arrival, but they are not. I plant them all in pots, so much easier to get them going. Once they are thriving I transplant them. I have beautiful pampas grass, bushes and a 30 ft willow tree. The willow tree cost me $1.00. You can't beat the prices

I was actually quite happy with burgess. I did not have to deal with their customer service, but their product was great. They say that they send dormant trees, and that is the case. The cherry and peoni trees we received looked 'dead', but a year later they are flourishing. We also got some ice plant that has taken over as a great ground cover should. The mosquito shoo geraniums got huge but didn't do a fantastic job with the Mosquitos. Our mixed pepper seeds ended up producing a gallon to two of peppers per week for about three months. The finally died after the third frost in late October.

I plan on buying a big shipment from the after I move into my new house.

Read the directions, and don't forget that they are shipping plants so expect them to take a while.

I received my order, it looked like it was thrown in a box, no packing to keep them safe! The plants were crammed in a bag and stapled shut! Usually, the plants I got were about 10 inches, scrawny, but they grew, and the people answer the phones are now from over seas. I won't do business with them again, I ask for my money back, now I'm having to wait for 48 to 72 hours, while they review my request!

I have been trying to reach them for 6 days. The phone number does not work, and they won't answer the emails. Everything in the order was dead. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this company.

I ordered a 4 pack of tomato plants from Burgess seed and plants on May 6,2022. They did not ship them until June 1 and they shipped them by FedEx. It took 14 days for me to receive my plants and when I got them they were dead and unusable. Burgess does not refund your money, they only give you a merchant certificate for a future purchase. I will never buy from them again and maybe they should find a faster way of shipping live plants.

I ordered a substantial amount of plants from this company in the winter for spring delivery. The orde came with plants smashed together in boxes. Some were already dead (these were not dormant) and others had visible bug infestations with bites out of the leaves. I tried multiple times to call the company but always got a busy signal. I followed their instructions for a refund by mailing back my original shipping label and they sent it back tome and told me to give it another try and wait for a year before requesting a refund. The plants were already dead. I'm not sure how waiting a year would make a difference. The second time I requested a refund they sent me a coupon for merchandise replacement! Why would I want more merchandise from a company with quality this poor?
