I use enterprise a lot for work and this was one of the better experiences I have had. Chris took excellent care of me; he was kind, courteous and funny.
Price was great, then I researched and saw that the Thrifty Car Rental I had booked through EconomyBookings (at Pensacola Intl Airport) has been out of business for a year! Unacceptable and if I had not checked on the rental company's status, I would have been out a car for a very important trip!
Good broker for car hire. Normally best rates, easy to understand. Based in Eastern Europe but they have phones that get answered and staff are generally very helpful. Recommend!

This company is an absolute scam. Save yourself the heartache and money. They booked me for a car that didnt exist. I had to rent from another company. Thousands of miles away... Total ripoff

Fox Rental Car was great, easy to work with, and upfront about all charges.
Economy Bookings, however, was the worst experience I have ever had. They charged 300 percent more than what I booked, which was a car for $15 per day for 5 days. $75 plus taxes and fees right? Apparently those idiots at economybookings went to a different school of math, because they charged me over $300. When I called to question, hold times were almost an hour, online chat was almost non existent, and when I finally got someone on the phone, they refused to give me a breakdown itemized with all these mysterious junk fees. It was classic bait and switch, and they blatantly ripped me off! Did I mention they are Latvian? Maybe that is the way business is done in Latvia? They are not an honorable company, but not only are they unscrupulous, I believe they committed a crime. I will report them to the BBB and appropriate authorities. DO NOT USE ECONOMY BOOKINGS. INSTEAD CALL YOUR RENTAL CAR COMPANY DIRECTLY!

My experience came on a very busy, fully booked Naval Graduation / Labor Day weekend - Quinshaw went above and beyond to ensure that not only did I have a great vehicle, he reviewed my contract so that I understood EconomyBookings Holiday hours for Rates / Returns and avoided any overages by returning the car on time.
Nobody in the agency of Salt Lake City airport at 24h when we arrived with the flight AC799/UA8155 coming from Toronto which was 4 hours late. So we have been obliged to book à car in an other agency.
I ask you to reimbourse the 352.63€ on m'y credit card acount.
Please confirm as soon as possible.

I reserved a car for our vacation. The site asked for my flight number, then automatically set a pickup time that was 9.5 hrs before my flight arrived. When I emailed about this error, I was told that the pickup time could not be amended and that I would have to cancel and rebook. When I pointed out that I had no guarantee the error would not recur bc evidently no one can get in to the system to make changes there, they just sent me instructions on how to cancel. When I cancelled, it was noted you only get the money as a credit to your Wallet for the site. When I complained about this and stated it was not fair that I was not fully refunded bc the cancellation was not due to my error, they stopped responding. It wasn't until I responded again saying I was filing a charge dispute with my credit card company that I received instructions on how to get the money sent to my card. Again, without getting the cancellation fee back and likely minus another charge for withdrawing the funds from my "Wallet." No response yet.
I'm hopeful that the credit card company can help. But this headache is not worth it. I gladly paid double the price with another rental company that is up front and transparent with their practices. Renter beware!

Through this horrific time EconomyBookings was very accommodating, I missed my flight going to my final destination they were very understandable didn't charge me for that day and gave me an upgrade.
Do not book with this website or it will cost you way more than expected! We booked a car with them recently with unlimited mileage. This one an essential condition for us and it was CLEARLY stated on our booking voucher. However, when we went to the car dealer to get the car, we were told that our booking had been entered in their computer with limited mileage! We called Economybookings customer service to try to find a solution and were offered... to cancel our booking at no cost, and that was it! We had a wedding to go to and no backup plan. We had to rent the car with limited milegae and it cost us over twice as much as a result. We have hired a lawyer who is now in touch with them but they do not get back to him. The best of all: They send you your booking voucher via email and you have to click on a link to get it. We clicked on the link after the incident to print a new copy and they had changed the voucher, which now states limited mileage! Too bad for them, we had kept the copy of the original voucher, but this method shows how dishonest they are. STAY AWAY!
Read reviews just after making my booking and went to site to cancel my request, which hasn't gotten to reservation stage yet. It seems you are charged a minimum of 25 Euros (about 30 US dollars) for cancellations (much more if its less than 48 hours from pick up of vehicle). I had to agree to their cancellation policy to cancel (i tried calling them to resolve it but its after their business hours) and then immediately called my bank to ask them to block charges from the company. They had already charged the first portion so my bank (actually credit union) couldn't remove that, and I had to cancel my debit card, which wouldn't be a big deal except Ive just moved out of state so they have to mail me my new card, which will take over a week. As you can imagine this is a huge pain, and unfortunately this company already got some of my money, but at least any other charges they try to make won't go through.
I had wrongly thought this business was in the same country I am renting a car from and am located myself (United States) but they are actually in Latvia, so yeah good luck getting a refund from them. I'll be disputing the charge they made to my card with Visa if it isn't refunded.
There is so much small print, extra charges for not having the correct INSURANCES, yes PLURAL, even though I had confirmed on phone that the Third party CWD insurance was adequate, plus the $10 extra per day THEY charge for not buying their $27.99 a day insurance. Then they wanted us to pay for towing and additional insurance. And In Florida you MUST pay $10 extra a day for the road toll charges, even if you do not use this. This is not stated anywhere on their website. If you use them, make sure to ask all the RIGHT questions, and read all the small print 10 times.
WARNING: THIS IS A SCAM. Only as of yesterday (July 10,2013) I made an online reservation for a rental car for Seattle and did confirm it. But then my gut told me something wasn't right. Not only had I never heard of "economybookings.com", but I had never heard of their "affiliate" Fox Rent-A Car.
Sure enough! Not only can I NOT cancel the reservation through the website, I cannot send them an email through the site AND they don't answer the phone. It's a looped recording and that's it! I then called Fox Rent-A-Car and was on hold for 15 minutes and never once did a person pick up! I couldn't cancel the reservation through Fox's website either!

As a result I have literally cancelled my credit card and they are placing the charge under investigation. THIS IS SERIOUS!
Found this company to be cheaper than the other rental options available. Went to the airport counter to pick up my rental and was told the amount was $10 more. I asked how that could be and was told that each airport has it's own additonal fees and I would need to contact the booking company to sort it out. I showed Dollar rental the contract but they didn't care and so I had no choice but to pay the extra $10 if I wanted the car.
I was going to let the extra $10 go and not deal with it. I then dropped the car off after hours with a full tank of gas and left the keys in Dollars drop box. I still had about 12 hours left on my rental time. My credit card was charged an additional $25 several days later. I called economybookings (which if you have to, you will have to speak to someone overseas since that's where they're based and will likely talk to someone with a strong accent so communication can be a bit rough to understand). Anyways, I opened a case and received an email indicating it would take 5 - 6 weeks for them to investigate. It's now been 8 weeks and still cannot get anyone to acknowledge the case number or provide an update about the case. I have no other recourse other than calling the credit card company and having them look into it.
Everything couldn't have been easier (although I bought the CDW, so wouldn't know if return inspection would've be an issue). Rental and return agents were both efficient and pleasant.
I was unable to rent the car I paid for through this company, because when I went to pick up the car, I didn't have a major credit card (DON'T USE DOLLAR either). I had to pay double and go through another company, I got no refund after I requested it AND my bank investigated and still didn't do a refund.
GHOST company! There are 3 phone numbers in the internet site, 2 doesnt answer and the last one was the police! They didnt send me the recive, and had to cancel the credit card-s extension!
After finding the problem i tracked the company by internet, and everybody got scammed! DO NOT BOOK HERE
Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
