I booked the flight that was sold out on airlines website here, amazing! Pretty much straight forward. Even better if there are fewer emails and the email has all flight info in one place. Itinerary, seats, baggage etc
Booking with eDreams couldn't have been any easier. I'm not traveling directly from the uk. But meeting a friend in another country first before continuing my journey to Barbados. So booking was a little more complicated than normal. Thanks very much for making this booking less complicated. Will definitely use eDreams for future booking

Not very clear if we had check in and carry on luggage (believe we only have check in) and weight not specified.
Details on checking in and boarding passes not clear and presume that is due to the long time before we fly. However given that it is a family reunion with family coming from three continents it would have been good to have some reassurances.
Had to pay for seats-on a long haul-really! And could only book one of our six flights.
Not sure if checking in is through eDreams or the airline.

Creates an added layer of complication between the airline and the customer especially when problems happen.
Booked a flight Mexico - Canada and return with eDreams and received ONE eDreams booking number.
EDreams created 2 booking numbers with the airline (one outbound, one inbound).
The airline cancelled the initial outbound flight, thus preventing us to get to our destination. The same day we asked eDreams for a full cancellation and refund of our entire trip. We were only refunded the outbound portion that had been canceled by the airline and eDreams claimed that the return flight was still valid under the separate airline booking (which I didn't make a separate one)
The airline will not talk to you if you book through eDreams.
Waste of time and money. Very disappointing.

Cheap flights

I wanted to make a booking for a flight from Johannesburg to Durban. When Googling "FlySafair" - the eDreams website come up first. The words: "FlySafair" is typed far larger than their own name, which should be the first red flag. They pretend to be the FlySafair website...
The price quoted for the flight was R 3012 a ticket or R 6024 for two. Eventually they took R 8 831 off my credit card. When I eventually got past their bot, and spoke to a human, they told me I did not choose "the prime option" and asked for extra services - which I did not!
They scammed me out of R2800.
The person communicating with me just said "sorry" all the time - even when I said they are insulting me with the "sorry" they kept going with it - no effort to address the issue, just "sorry" - just to rile me more, adding insult to injury.
Avoid at all cost, they are crooks and will take your money.

The purchase process had too many screens to jump through, too many add-ons popping up one at a time, and worst of all, the flights I booked offered 20kg check-in baggage per person one-way - and only realized after purchasing that it offered 0kg for the return trip. This fact was not well presented or highlighted during the purchase process.
Assumed it would get me a better deal, but after purchasing, only realized booking directly might’ve been cheaper.
