I booked the flight that was sold out on airlines website here, amazing! Pretty much straight forward. Even better if there are fewer emails and the email has all flight info in one place. Itinerary, seats, baggage etc
Booking with eDreams couldn't have been any easier. I'm not traveling directly from the uk. But meeting a friend in another country first before continuing my journey to Barbados. So booking was a little more complicated than normal. Thanks very much for making this booking less complicated. Will definitely use eDreams for future booking
The experience was pretty good. This is the first time I have used edreams and it was easy except after I purchased a round trip ticket only one direction was available so that made it difficult because we had to find another ticket for the way out. Other than that it was great.

I did not like the idea that the price presented in the beginning was far from what we were charged at the end including seats and luggage for every one of the four legs of the trip, instead an overall price. I even liked even less the idea that when we finished the process of adding costs, there was a point in which we were told that we have to become dream subscribers or else the price would be different (at least, that's how the information was presented).During the whole process, we received again and gain prompts to let us know that we should hurry or the prices would go up. Really? What kind of marketing tactics are these?

UPDATE: eDreams reached out to me again after seeing this review and said they would review my case. They immediately sent me the same email with boilerplate language that said again that they do not return their fees. They still have not explained why their receipt charged $440 for the flight and they only refunded $418. All talk, no action.
EDreams seems like nothing more than a scam. I booked a trip on Spirit Airlines through them but our flight was cancelled due to a mechanical problem with the aircraft. We flew on another airline.
Their own invoice shows the flight cost $445 plus a $106 "Intermediation fee." I was returned only $418. They give no explanation other than it meets their "terms." They did not even help me rebook my flight. And they charged a $70 membership fee on top of all that. Nothing short of outright theft.

After booking a flight and paying the extra for me to have Flexible Flight Change Guarantee, I was given a total run around when it was time to use that benefit to rebook a flight. I kept having to chat online for hours just to be told that I will get a call. Waited days and eventually weeks just to get an email saying they can't reach me. Gave them alternative numbers many times and yet they keep having me wait. While chatting, I would be ignored for long periods of time and then get a cliche apology. EDreams need to retrain their reps and revise their customer support methods. You can't have a customer waiting for so long after you've gotten their money. I'm a frequent flyer but will NEVER use eDreams and would never recommend it to anyone!
Tip for consumers:
They tried their best not to issue me my full refund for booking even after I purchased their Flexible Flight Change Guarantee which allows me 100% refund of a new ticket.

The prices are good. But for some reason I was told (in an email) that my trip included a Carry-on bag. However, the airline contacted me directly saying that I only have a Handbag... So, I had to purchase the Carry-on with Sky Airlines... that process with the airline is not easy (still on it). But to be fair, that story has nothing to do with eDreams, just the airline itself.

I found the online booking reasonably easy, until I got to pay for it, then wham. The price had magically gone up by £200, which definitely took the wind out of my sails. Apparently the popularity of my Manchester-New York flight in June was enough to cause the flight hike. I can't wait for the next surprise.

The worst customer service experience I have ever had and fraudulent charges made to my card. I booked a flight using eDream last year in January. I emailed to cancel in February after I was initially charged as I was not aware this was a subscription service and since I had not used the subscription since it had charged me. They never responded to any email I sent. Eventually, I just asked them to cancel my subscription immediately. I never received a response. I finally figured out how to cancel online and did so. However, this year I was charged again, despite cancelling online. I am also unable to find the cancellation button on their website anymore, even after following their instructions. I have never left a bad review in my life, but genuinely wish other people would not support this horrible business or be scammed by them.

Unfortunately a very inconvenient system. After booking a tickets,it is completely unclear how to check what tickets include.I think I made a mistake in the passport number but I can't see my own registration details. I asked for help but was denied because I did not pay for this service. I have to note that I am not able to see the data that I entered during an order, so I cannot add this service and correct the error. And this means that I may have problems with landing on a plane. Very disappointed.

This co is a scam. Booked a flight and cancelled it within the free cancellation period.
It's been a year and they still haven't refunded my money. It's happening to alot of people so be careful. Don't book anything here.

Booked a flight with edreams. On my confirmation ticket the airline was wrong the flight number was wrong also. I spent hours trying to figure out where I was supposed to go at the airport. But didn't get the information on time. I just bought another ticket the night before my flight was booked. I will never use edreams again. Worst travel agency I have ever used

Ended up calling Edreams back as I have a fraud claim against them. They are billing me an extra 94.99$ on top of the ticket I paid for but could not use. Even though I have the correct flight number shown by the airport. Edreams expects me to call the airline and dispute the ticket they gave me with the wrong airline and flight number. Edreams should fix their mistake and quit asking the customer to fix it for them. Customer service was extremely rude saying there was no error.

This company is a scam.
Luggage was not included in the ticket, even when it has shown in the confirmation. I had to pay for the luggage at the airport.
This explains the way the price was cheaper at the booking- but cost me more after all!

Instead the total amount 948 Euro indicated below the page before payment, only 850 Euro was actually deducted - as it did not include added (cancel) insurance. I contacted chatbot immediately (within 5 min. After receiving confirmation). Neither IA and nor human chatbot did admit the system error claiming that "the booking system did not fail" and quoting E-dreams terms and conditions, I could not add the insurance additionally. But the computer like human beings are not infallible. There was however no will to try to correct the occurred error. Poor performance.

All went well at the end but there was a learning curve using eDreams.
I did not get my booking confirmation before I called and asked for it the next day. Lots of nonsence emails from eDreams that it would come shortly in a few minutes etc. but no one really checked up on it before I did.
EDreams are charging extra for seat reservation when it is in fact free on the carriers home page.
But they do have some really good offers that the carriers do not advertise directly. I found a half price Business class ticket compared to the carrier's price for the exact same flight.
That's where my search engine landed.

Most I like the fact that the flight prices are the best, and you have plenty of choice. Boarding hassle free is priceless, especially when you have stops in long distance flights, and it's very handy to have everything in one place - edreams application.
