I had been trying unsuccessfully to filter matches by distance, age, height since day one- it always reverts to a much wider range which I am not interested in. I was not able to cancel the membership on time (forgot about site) until I saw the automatic renewal-charged me for another year of "nothing elite" (uneducated matches who do not match ANY of the parameters that I set-except for their sex/gender). Zoosk is also paid but has much better settings and matching systems. My advice is "stay away from EliteSingles".

Cancelling automatic renewal of an Elite Singles subscription is made difficult if not impossible. One is required to send a letter, no e mail, to Germany - all under the flimsy explanation of getting excellent customer service. I even found the original amount blocked again on my account for "future transactions"
I suggest to cancel the debit or credit card used for the transaction and get a replacement card with a new number - much easier than entering into impossible discussions with thieves

All they do is steal money from consumers! Don't waste your time on filling in your profile, especially if you are a man - 80% of women profiles are either fake or outdated.
Elitesingles feels like a ghost town: no messages, downright odd matches with no photos. Surely I wanted to cancel. And I thought I did but I was mistaken: last month they charged my credit card again. Now it looks like I have to mail or fax to Belgium. I'm sure you don't need all this crap, so just stay away from EliteSingles!

Not worth the time of day.
Rather spend your money elsewhere.
Paid upfront for a year.
Repeatedly were introduced to non - compatible men.
Told me to lower my criteria, which I was too strict (I said NO to smokers, 'cos I'm allergic to it,)

Very scant search results and very stupid matching algorithms! Bogus charges all the time, this month they charged another £120 from my cc for auto renewal after I had removed my account! Customer service is absolutely worthless. Stay away from this con site. There are bunch of normal sites, where you can spend less and get more. Women are absolutely unresponsive and inactive on EliteSingles. Is this what you call elite?!

Their trap is auto-renewal. They put you on automatic subscription without authorization. Once you have given them your bank info, you got in these con artists' trap. There is no point in getting involved with these fraudsters putting your money at risk! I have never had such problems with other dating sites, but Elitesingles is a plain rip off to avoid at all costs!
Instead of someone " elite" I just came across many scammers with photos of sexy girls stolen from Instagram. Of course, they were just interested in my money. Don't waste your time on fakes, scammers and just highly materialistic pretentious women on Elitesingles.

I've been on a couple of different dating sites throughout the years and they, too, have had their share of scammers. However, Elite Singles, turns out isn't so elite. This site is rampant with scammers. I would say almost all the emails I have received that have an attractive picture (usually only one pic, BIG red flag ladies) have turned out to be scammers. I will never sign up for this sight again. Promise.

Same as all the other trash websites. 90% of the matches were hours away and this site does advertise itself as people with degrees. This is a flat out lie. Most of the people here are not educated and have no degrees. The interaction is rough and shoddy. They could have at least tried. Customer service actually told me that the distance is not miles, but kilometers, which was changed by another service rep after I complained. Minimum search radius id 50 miles. Yeah, who wants to drive 50 miles for a date, give me a break. Over 50% have no photos and another large percentage were not what I would call compatible. Stay away, this site is no different than Mach, absolute trash!

I've been on the site for almost a year and paid about $270/6 months and no good matches. Rarely anything happens on a daily basis and they automatically charged me for another six months after my first subscription expired. You cannot even contact them by any easy means except sending them a snail mail. They also have scammers, too! What a waste of money, time and effort! I will never recommend this site!

I met the love of my life on the first date from Elite Singles. Yay! I thought I had turned off auto-renewal. I guess not; 6 months later, I am charged $269.70 for another 6 months. If Elite Singles operates honestly, they would make it easy and clear to manage your subscription. Also, if a renewal happened that wasn't wanted, they would reverse the charges if they were contacted in the first 72 hours. Elite can plainly see I have not been active since 10/2019. Deceptive practices. They hide behind email "support." There is no phone number to call to talk to a person. Buyer beware!

I am sent 10 matches per day, but most of them do not have a photo (as a woman I would never consider those) and the rest are way out of my desired 50-mile radius (usually not even in my state). Last week I got FOUR emails from EliteSingles that men who were corresponding with me were scammers. A waste of time and money. (You can cancel your membership but cannot get your money back.)

Waste of time and money. They actually put a collection agency on to me to claim the renewal subscription fee for a service I maybe accessed a dozen times, and didn't touch for months prior to renewal or since. There are few educated people, less genuine people and plenty of scammers. They even tell you a scammer made contact... 6 weeks after the event. And still chase your renewal subscription fee via international debt collectors when you choose to never use the site again because of fake profiles and online fraud. The advertising completely misrepresents their actual stock of potential matches, and complete lack of suitably intelligent matches.

My name is Darryl C. Evans. To many scams. A lot of members with no photo. Try getting a refund. They don't mention you can only apply for a refund within 72 hours. A lot of non-members, tell how they found a love partner. Then they have a friend whom saw you profile, and her is her info. I've only been on this site for 8 days, this happen (6) times, and yesterday. Complained about it, we are working on it. Proof of purchased: Webster Bank $184.89, payed to: Elite Single, Wilmington, UT. On 8/01/2002. I don't do Social Media..

So I filled out my profile in a very thoughtful manner. My Christian faith is the most important thing in my life. Every opportunity to include that, I did. So the first "matches" I get, not from men but from Elite Singles? The one's they gave 92% and 97% and such match rates with me? Within an hour?

No offense, but Jewish, 2 Non-Religious, 2 Other, etc...? Again no offense. But none of them are my "match", just as I'm not their's! I have nothing against their faith. But I am looking for someone who shares my passion for mine. It's none of one's that Elite Singles thought were good matches!

Very loose matching algorithm. No accuracy of matches at all. Not enough opportunity to describe oneself or one's own needs in one's own words. Horrible app where scrolling can cause you to accidentally like' something on someone's profile and no way to unlike' it after. WTH?!

A total waste of effort and time. Why they ask for your preferences is unknown. Distance preferences is totally ignored and I found the promise of professional members was certainly not true.
The website and AP do not synchronize.
Customer service is very scanty and impersonal, everything handled through email communication. I took lots of time to complete my profile, most of the male member profiles were barely completed and more than 60% had no photos.
I would not recommend this site for anyone looking for a meaningful connection. A huge disappointment.

Big scam!
Majority of matches are people with less then a 4 year college degree.
Department store clerks, receptionists, etc. are the norm.
Quite frankly "highly educated" means masters degree or higher. Their advertisements are bogus.
That said there are a few educated people, but I would say 20%.

Don't really pay attention to all the negative reviews and rather make your own experiences! One of the best dating sites out there. I actually like Mingle2day and Match a lil more but I Elitesingles is also worth checking out.

I'm not one to write reviews but this time I had to because I'm so upset I fell for a dating site like Elite which is nothing "Elite" as other reviewers have mentioned. None of my matches were anything I wanted. In fact, they were the complete opposite of what I wanted! And most of them were over 55 years old when I specifically mentioned age is important to me. Please don't waste your time or money!

All I get is a bunch of scams coming to my mail. Girls to say they are 56 years old and a picture looks like they're 18. You can tell it's a scam because their name has Gmail in there or text me at. I get at least 10 a day. Do not sign up for this dating app it's a total scam.

Very poor quality app. Very difficult to navigate and not user friendly, Very few local matches. There are no "elite singles." In this site. Big chance to meet scammers. The report button is not functioning, and frequently gives an "error" message. Overall not good and not recommended.

In setting up my account with EliteSingles, I made sure to set it up so that it would not auto renew. A few months later, I cancelled the subscription and again checked to make sure the account would not auto renew. Today an automatic payment was taken from my account which I am viewing as theft. This is exactly why I do not do online dating anymore. Match.com did the same thing with one difference I could at least call them and speak to someone. All EliteSingles has is a form you fill out via email. I want to speak to someone and get my money back now!

My experience was a complete waste of time, money, and I would never recommend anyone to use Elite Singles. MANY of my matches had no photos, and were inappropriately matched... men of very short stature, unattractive, or their grammar was clearly uneducated. I'm annoyed.
