They have lousy matching algorithm. All my matches were located in distant places and most of them had no pics. Elitesingles lure you into purchasing a yearly membership, just don't do it! They are all fake, they use fake photos, stolen photos, photos from other dating sites, etc - just about anything to fool you and to make you interested. You will find out how fake it is only after you have paid for membership.
My matches on Elitesingles were ridiculously inappropriate, they totally ignored my search criteria. Lots of profiles were outdated ( they never write you back), and I can see why - they make it confusing to cancel, so people choose not to get involved in this challenge and they don't delete their profiles.

I had brief contact with two or three people, but they disappeared. No proof they were actually who they claimed to be. Worst thing about this site is the weird censorship. The site has some kind of strange rule set that deletes or rejects words and phrases here and there. Makes me think the site is run by some government intelligence agency.

This is so bad in many ways, I don't even know where to start. First off, I am not sure how they match people, but none of my "matches" have been been in accordance with my preferences, from age, to gender, to distance, etc. What is the point of asking for your preferences if your suggestions are going to be entirely random? Second, the number of my "matches" has been very small (interesting for a site that clams that they have millions of users). To be specific, I've been on this site for 3 months and have received a total of 12 matches - what a joke! Third, my profile constantly shows that its "in review". After 3 months? They claim that it takes 24 hours to review. And then to top it off, there is no customer service to contact about this or any other issues. I've never posted a bad review about anything in my life, but I just could not keep quiet about this scam. I am honestly contemplating if I should contact a better business bureau.

There's nothing elite about this site. Never mind answering all the questions about your preferences because The "matches" I was matched with did not fit my criteria at all! Not to mention that they were all unattractive. Customer service is horrible too! They will deny everything and you will never get your refund after paying a high price for a membership. Wish I had read the reviews prior to signing up... please, don't fall for this crap like I did.

Elite and its sister company Silver Singles are terrible dating services. They totally disregard your screening criteria and send inappropriate matches. But worse, their security software is non-existent. I not only receive fraudulent messages, my account has been hacked so that someone is sending fraudulent messages to my matches. This ruins my credibility and image.

None of the potential men are anywhere near what was in my profile. Men from out of town or state.
Customer service was horrible. No refunds given. I was dissatisfied from day 1. Don't waste your money.

I have barely been on the site because the matches are not even close to my parameters. Have been contacted by a con man on my second contact. No service. They just take your money and send people's pictures around - if it really is there picture. Waste of time and money.

Tech issues galore! No phone number to contact! Chat message sends you to a site to pay $1 to address your issue... perspective contacts are rarely within parameters... get messages from people from places I've never heard of and I stated in profile less than 50 miles. Messages supposedly sent... not there or get message they are not a member anymore.

Don't join elite singles. Most of the profiles on there are not active, and most don't have a photo. I know because they started matching my profile with people before I subscribed and I had no idea I was even receiving matches. After I subscribed, I received maybe 2 email responses in 2 weeks, as compared with about 15-20 email messages in the first few days on Zoosk. I'm also not convinced of the science behind their "matching" system, since they matched me with men on both sides of the spectrum in all 4 of their personality categories...

I joined up paid with my Visa it didn't show up until four days later on my laptop and by then it's your past the 3-day cancellation. Cancellation I just found many fake profiles that were not available once you clicked on them.

Over half of the "matches" have no photos. Two years now I've been doing online dating. Out of five or so sites/apps, this is by far the worst. And the most expensive. Save your money. Worst dating app out there in my experience. A true rip off

The site looked reputable but out of every 5 contacts that I received, at least 2 were scammers and not the person who owned the profile. It was ridiculous. I hung in for awhile - until my account got hacked and was contacting people and asking for money. No thanks! What a waste of time.

I had high hopes for this site. I have been on match.com off and on for a couple of years with mixed success. This site was billed has a more discriminating selection of possible matches. What I found was nearly the complete opposite. I got very few matches that were within my preferred distance, and of those, none even remotely matched my criteria.

Additionally, they would send me matches from people hundreds of miles outside of my search zone. Completely worthless.

Very unhappy with this site. Impossible to reach anyone. No customer service form to submit. Cannot locate any way to voice problems. These people are scammers. Don't bother with them. Waste of $300 that I cannot get back.

1. So many profiles are fake and the customer service never took action on them. The scammers kept creating profiles with same pictures and different info (age, location, job). I reported that too with screenshots, but no action was taken.
2. They mention the profiles to be highly educated individuals but almost every match is hardly educated.
3. The app ignores your preferences and you will be matched with anyone and everyone on the app.
4. The customer service never fixed my technical problems (Report Abuse link doesn't work, Support link doesn't work - It shuts down the app).
5. My login credentials work on the app, but don't work on their web version. Still no action was taken by the customer service.
What a waste of my valuable time and money. Doesn't even deserve a 1 star.

Don't sign up! My experience was the only men contacting me wanted to communicate off the site. I didn't feel comfortable doing so and sure enough a Week or so later I would get a notification from the site stating so and so recently contacted you and are being investigated! Really! Secondly 70 % of them were located in Nevada and I live in Anaheim. Or in San Diego county or up North. I did not sign up for long distance relationship. Sadly to say no love match made in the 5 months I was on the Elite

This site is almost dead. They took to misleading their customers by offering fake matches. All my matches were either inappropriate or outdated or unresponsive. Anyway I switched to
J4Dream.com
And it took me just three months to find my potential match. She agreed to visit me first because she's from another country. But this is not a problem for me. Our mentalities are close. She is from Ukraine. The women are very beautiful there and they have traditional family values and for most of them a slight age difference is not a problem. American women are totally different. I think our women tend to be more materialistic. I'm not talking about everyone but this is just a general tendency. That is why I really like the idea of marrying a girl from Ukraine. The big plus is that most of them learn English at school and the ones that are in their thirties usually speak good English. Anyway I think there is nothing to do on EliteSingles. I left it with no regret and I don't recommend it to anyone.

This is an expensive site for no reasons... first off every man in this site claimed to have a Master or doctorate degree and they're rude. The personality of some will turn women off. Doesn't seem like the men on this side are there for a relationship! It's soo more about their intelligence and what they owned. That's not what I wanna hear at first site. It's a waste of money

I just signed up a week ago and the first connection I made is with a scammer based in Ottawa-Hull, when the guy is supposed to live in Newmarket. He used a give away number, which was about my 15 th clue that this was not right. Don't trust the profiles. Where there is one cockroach there are 50 more.

Most people I was matched with for $100 I paid did not either bother to post a picture. I have no control who I get matched with on this site and no pic is pretty shabby. I do not find this a quality site. I left sites where there were those were looking for hook up only but compared to this they seem great. These were not faceless men that lived hundreds miles away at least. And the cost was less. Be sure you know what you are signing up for.

Not the best site out there and certainly NOT worth the money. With such a higher cost associated with it I didn't expect the search results have far less options than other sites including ALL the free sites. Not many selections and the app does not work often. I downloaded the app several times and I still could not log. I did not renew my subscription within the first two hours of joining. Selections are limited as well, probably because of the high cost per month. Totally disappointed. If you are willing to pay please consider the more established online dating sties like EH and Match.

Difficult. Difficult to navigate, find help, and Especially service. I did cancel and they turned around and threatened me with Collections for lack of payment.

And disappointed. I was 49 when I joined and they shared my profile with their other company Silver Silvers. Or something! So constantly got hit up by 60 year old, retired men from out of state. So disrespectful and annoying.

This company is making a ton of money and exploiting retired men. Disgusting..

Worst dating site I have ever been on. Most of the men I have chatted to are members on a sister site and have paid half of what I paid for the so called Elite site. Stay clear you are better off on a free site. There is absolutely no one near to where I live and they completely ignore my age preferences. They are showing me lorry drivers and men covered in tattoos when I have specifically asked for a certain level of education and no tattoos. Each to our own.
