I was denied a price adjustment on a projector that went down in price a week after I bought it. Beware of their business practices.
Hi, I have an Epson Workforce series printer. Today, I received updates from Epson to install. The printer was working fine; however after the updates, I could not print. I was informed that there was not a print cartridge installed. So I replaced all 4 and guess what, still no printing. I called the company who informed me that I needed to show proof that I purchased the printer (huh), proof that I purchased the ink (double huh) and send them money to fix this. I have a feeling this is a scam and was informed that since I purchased this cheap, what "should I expect." I told them that I expected a working printer after the updates and that I will not be sending them this. Instead, they need to fix what they broke, locally here in Michigan. Please do not buy Epson printers or equipment, I had to give them a 1 star because I could not give them 0. I have to print out sensitive material for a client tomorrow and will not be able to. Please DO NOT BUY EPSON. THEY SCAMMED ME OUT OF OVER 100$ WHEN I PURCHASED THE PRINTER AND THEY SENT ME THE INK.
I was in the middle of a project and ran out of ink in one of the EPSON cartridges so everything came to a halt. Went online to this company and ordered several cartridges (totaling about $100 +/-), and when about to pay for it all, the section for entering the "gift code" presented. I clicked on the area itself and a whole list of applicable codes for use popped up, all showing for 2 day shipping on 1 or more ink cartridges! So I entered the code, as it was the "April Special", as was indicated. That was April 3rd. On the 5th, nothing arrived. The 6th: again nothing. So I looked at my email, and there was an email from Epson stating my order had been shipped on ***APRIL 5th*** and would arrive on ***APRIL 11th***! I was SEETHING, and sent an email to Epson reminding them I had entered the code for 2 DAY SHIPPING! And that I was beyond angry and annoyed with their shoddy business practices. Their response was to say they would have someone call me. Crickets. I've heard from no one. I sent another email telling them that if they would care to next day-AIR my order to me, that would be greatly appreciated. If not, I would be contacting the BBB, and filing complaints on social networks to reach as many people as possible. Again they said they would have someone call. Again, crickets... no call has been received. So I am filing my complaints and warning people to stay AWAY from EPSON... THEY. DON'T. CARE. ABOUT. THE. CUSTOMERS. All they want is your money, and they don't live up to their responsibilities. I will NEVER own another EPSON product, and they have lost me as a customer... THEIR LOSS... because I am one helluva customer, once you have me!
Answer: Epson ET-5880 printer worked great for a year and 5 months but is now failing. Epson support is not replying to ink rebate emails or warranty problem.
Answer: I have all these same problems with Epson and am still looking for the answer.
