I received a delivery a week ago and the issue I had was how the delivery driver delivered my box. They put the box into an Amazon lockbox. The cold items are on the bottom and the box was upside down. All my veggies were damaged. I called the company and they did a discount to my order. I explained to them they needed to deliver the box to my home. The note was and is on my account. Here we are week two and the same issue this week. I spoke with a customer service representative (Catalina) and she was by far the rudest person I have ever met. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said it would take 24 hours to speak to a supervisor. I said why do I have to wait to speak to a supervisor? You didn't wait to take my money. I kept insisting for a supervisor and the conversation just escalated. I didn't want a credit I wanted them to ensure me the delivery driver would deliver my box to my residence. This has happened twice and still no resolve. To top it off there ia a post in the lockbox room stating food deliveries are to be taken to the resident. It takes me almost 20 minutes to get the box out of the lockbox. I have yet to speak to a supervisor. I am just going to cancel my subscription. Totally ridiculous.
I've used 3 meal delivery services and this was by far my least favorite. Meal options were lacking. I often was missing half of 1 of my ingredients. And customer service is a joke. When I was ready to cancel my subscription they were rude to me and also couldn't cancel my last box, I asked the representative to please change out of of my meals since they couldn't cancel, he gave me a list, I chose the 1 meal I wanted to switch. My box arrived 5 days later with the original meal that I did not want. I called to ask for a partial refund since they did not send the correct meal and they told me no. They sent me the wrong meal and would not refund it. Use a different company!
So I ordered my 1st box and had coupon for free box. Well I used it says 10.99 shipping which I was fine with. Paid it then ways charge 82$ when I called they said it was used on other account which is not true. So I call them and of course they can't do anything about it no help me. I'm so mad they just take your money please beware!
This business is a joke. My sister in-law gave them my name and they sent me an invitation to try their service for a week and just pay shipping. I decided what the heck I'll give it a try, what a huge mistake and a waste of time. I was supposed to get my first shipment Monday Oct 3 2023, that day came around no meals only email saying it was delayed. No info on when I could expect it just that it was delayed. Next day comes around (Tuesday Oct 3 2023) no meals, just another email saying shipment was delayed. Later that evening I called customer service was told shipper (UPS) lost shipment another shipment was made and I will get it tomorrow (Oct 4). Guess what, you guessed it, no shipment. Called in again rep said shipment would go out sometime today and I should receive it whith in the next 2 to 3 days. Only problem is their boxing information says the meals can only stay unrefrigerated up to 48 hrs not 72. Not to mention that if you want to make any changes to the following weeks order it has to be made by Thursday and I may receive the shipment Thursday, Friday or Saturday if at all. Everyplate would have you believe that they proved good meals at a good value. You be the judge of that based on my experience. I however feel that the provide a cheap product with poor customer service. I was told Tuesday that I would receive the new shipment the next day and it never happened. Pay a little more, you will get a better product and customer service. Everyplate should be ashamed of itself but sadly they don't.

The shipping options are terrible.
Customer service is almost as bad as Xfinity!
The food portions are very small.
The packaging is awful & if you dont get the package into the refrigerator quickly everything will spoil - they do not pack enough ice packs in the boxes.
They ship you "fresh" ingredients that go bad within 3 days.
They claim to send "the highest quality ingredients." This is absolutely a lie!
Literally within 3 days the "fresh" produce they send is slimly & has to be thrown out.
They claim to save you money - this is not that case - you will end up spending MORE money replacing the trash they sent you so you can complete your meal & feed your family.
Bottom line - just go to Wal-Mart and deal with their self check out & long lines.
The order never arrived despite us waiting a day in a half at which point I'm assuming it spoiled anyway.
I wanted to check out this meal delivery service, or course they won't let you even check out the app with out putting your cc number in. I was pretty sure i wanted to get this so i did. I didnt order anything, decided i didnt want it, but sure as hell they billed my cc, and over drafted it.
I went on the website to just see what their meal planning was like, and unfortunately I had to put in my credit card information before I could get the menus, so they sent me a box of food before I could cancel. I was hopeful that the meals would be good, even though I had no choice in what was sent to me, because they automatically set me up before I had that chance to choose, and was incredibly disappointed when the box came and it was leaking all over the place because the ice had melted... 5 the 20 new potatoes they sent me were rotten, and one of the two hamburger buns they sent me was stale because the packaging was open... it was absolutely the worst and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
What a wretched disappointment this was. Came home from work thinking I had 5 meals waiting for me and ready to eat. Instead I get a box of vegetables I could pick up at any roadside stand. I'm so mad... I plan to throw the whole mess in the dumpster out back and hope to forget the forget this screw up.
These people are working a scam, imo.
EveryPlate has horrible customer service. They try to be shady and take your money. I have skipped meals on time and still be charged. They refused to refund me the money when it is their fault. I have canceled before as well. Still was charged and they refused to refund me money. This is how you lose customers period! It is wrong and I want my money back especially since I have done everything right on my end AND this happened before. Don't use this service. This company and hello fresh does the exact same thing. I'm done!
I purchased a Groupon and was not able to redeem it. I called their customer service number with my Groupon order # and forwarded my Groupon purchase email but wouldn't honor my purchase!
Opened a box and had a bunch of flies come out. Bunch of other flies inside dazed from the ice packs. No way I'm eating that and really makes you wonder what's going on at the shipment or packing facilities.
Just received a discount card from every plate in the mail today. Did a quick search online, and found out that the majority of customers are unhappy with this company. So I decided to write this review and tell every plate I threw the card in the trash. I won't be wasting my time with every plate
Called five times to cancel they kept hanging up on me right before I could cancel. I am finely done with this company..
Do not order from this company, I tried to cancel the order and they did not let me and I received Vegan food and I am not a Vegan was charged $75.00 for food that I could have made myself for $30.00. I called and asked them if I can return it because the food that was sent is horrible and I will Never make it. They refused and now I am stuck losing $75.00. Hello Fresh is a much better food service. Do not go to Every Plate it might be cheaper but the quality is terrible.
Purchased initial box, paused 2 weeks after and still got charged for the meal i never ordered. No refunds either. Pathetic waste of money
They are inflexible on delivery date and changes to the menu. They send meals with missing ingredients that requires you to go grocery shopping.

I ordered 7 meals. Came all jumbo in box. No idea what goes to what. Not enough produce or spices. Shorted meal one meal. First order was enough for me to know this is not convenient. Fun.
I went on the website to look...you have to put your information in b4 u see menus which I did I NEVER placed an order.they sent me a box I called them they said keep.box I won't be charged and they will deactivate my account.They did NOT they billed my bank a month later I called they said my account is active ACTIVE I NEVER ordered I said this they said basically I had to pay for the last box then my account would be deactivated!SCAMMERS

Answer: I guess the sucess story is i have been using them a year it goes smoothly as it should, and I have no complaints.
Answer: I have tried others, that were more expensive, the instructions either were very time consuming or they didn't send any, you had to go online to get them them. I dont' know of any that have better price.
