Poor communication

After booking my rental through VRBO, I thought I would be in touch with the owner. But unfortunately, when I messaged who I thought was the owner there was no response. I was simply trying to get recommendations for our upcoming trip. So I messaged again and still no response. I had to search for a number for the listed property management company, Evolve, because the one listed was not a working number. After finally talking to a customer service agent they told me after I receive checkin details, I will have contact with the owner. But that was three days before our trip and we were never able to rent a golf cart or make certain dinner reservations. The point of VRBO or any other owner rental service, is to communicate and rent from the owner who has experience and suggestions with the area you are booking your stay at. Evolve did a poor job with communicating and at one point I thought I was being scammed. From now on I will only rent from owner properties, NOT management company properties. I will never rent from an Evolve managed company again.

Great location - close to "Old Town" downtown Scottsdale and a very quiet neighborhood.

Beautifully upgraded kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, living/dining room, and bedrooms. Very clean and comfortable.

Fantastic backyard for relaxing or entertaining.

This was a delightful rental house. I will rent this house again on my next trip to Scottsdale, AZ!

As an owner, I switched to Evolve after being with another company for a few years. My income went up dramatically the first year I was with Evolve. Also, their communication is very prompt and helpful. I would highly recommend that other owners use them.

Golf trip

A few of us 60 year olds went on a guys golf trip and stumbled across this gem of a place. It had everything you could ever need and the outside sitting area with TV and pool were amazing. Highly recommended!

11-day Stay

The reservation process and accommodations were both satisfactory. There was only one issue with the townhouse and it was quickly resolved by property management. There was a lot of traffic noise. The management can't do much about that but it could be pointed out in the property description. The neighborhood itself was very quiet. The property was conveniently located to attractions, shopping, etc.

I was very happy with evolve until they lowered the price for my cabin to 125.00 per night
This cabin sleeps 7, new kitchen and baths, etc. I called and they raised it to 135.00, that still was not good. Then they booked Christmas at that price and i was ticked. That person canceled and i called Evolve and told them to mark up Christmas now and they said they could not! I even called again and told them this is my house and i want it marked up and she stated I talked to you the first time and told you we cannot! I was most unhappy, 135 a night i make nothing with cleaning fee of 150.00, electric, I supply fire wood,
Also when i had someone post a bad review because of Evolve missing one page, that had a pool table listed this guests was mad and gave me a bad review, Evolve posted that without my response to them! It took them at least 3 weeks to post my response to this quests and that is not right. Don't let the review go up until the homeowner has the rebuttal ready. Then i get a call and the person calling wanted 15% commission and she would concentrate on getting more bookings, that is what it was all about in the beginning i was told 1 person concentrates on your listing and getting bookings

Easy but based on price deception

It was easy to get the property I wanted at the time I wanted. There were no complications or excessive steps. The only part I strongly and fiercely dislike is the way the $276/night property was listed at $163/night. That's a big difference.

Amazing family oriented rental!

This rental property is PERFECT for families. It is very safe as it has 24/7 security, is very quiet, the apartment has everything you need from beach towels to coffee maker with complimentary coffee, air conditioning in all rooms, and a balcony facing the pool.

The beach is very clean, we saw a few turtle nests, the ocean is not deep in this beach area, and walking distance to Wyndham Resort to use Margaritaville and/or the Casino.

Highly recommended for families!

They are always there to answer my questions and guide me when dealing with difficult guests.

Terrible from start to finish. This is an example. I've sold this property and have let you know twice but I'm still getting things like this. If anyone asked me I will say to stay away from Evolve.

True, the views are Stunning.

I was looking for a property with a view, and this one did not disappoint. The host is great and will go out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. The house is furnished with everything thing we needed. We visited during March and as mentioned in other post the snow covered mountains and frozen lake view was stunning. I'm sure the summer time view is just as great. We can't wait to plan our next visit to this property.
