Rude and disrespectful. Told me they threw my lenses away then "dug them out of the trash"

Do not send these people your glasses. They were unable to fix the scratches in my lenses and will make you pay for work they didn't do and charge you outrageous shipping fees, threaten to throw your glasses out and hold your glasses hostage if you don't pay up.
They said my glasses needed more repairs than thought. I got them back missing the case and they replaced the hinge not the entire arm as discussed. The arm actually had more damage when I got them back.
I sent my Maui Jim sunglasses to this place for repair after finding them on web when searching for "Maui Jim sunglasses repair". The quote they gave was more than the double cost of any repair I had Maui Jim do before. It made more sense to buy a new pair over paying thier price. When I told them that I wanted them returned and didn't want to do the repair, they told me that I had to pay for their services or they would send me to a collection agency. I called Maui Jim directly and asked why they had a service place that treated customers this way. Maui Jim told me this place was a scam. Maui had been trying to get websites like this from showing up on web searches and advised me to not pay anything. If you search the address on google maps you will find a shack in New York. I requested they return my glasses, but they want my bank account first. Do not use this place. To this day, they still have my sun glasses or have already sold them on ebay.
Try calling the company before you order. You will discover that they never answer and do not respond to your email. Ordered my items almost a month ago with no sign of them. Cancelling the transaction with my credit card company.
Oh how I regret not looking up reviews! Sent in some frames I loved with scratched lens hoping for repair of scratch. I got a quote for $150 saying I needed lenses replaced. This was more than my frames cost, but I really loved these frames. I get an email that they're shipped. Tracking shows item never picked up. I've gotten the run around for 2 months telling me the post office lost the glasses. The only information I receive back is when I email and I receive a poorly written, grammatically incorrect email with no capitalization or punctuation. I'm to the point where I believe they've kept or re-sold my frames. THEY ARE THIEVES! Karmas a $#*!!
I bought and Chrome hearts sunglasses from them. The owner Sam was not being nice to my purchase.
I ordered a pair of Red Riot and a set of clear tinted lenses from him. I paid good money for them. I bought extended warranty from him. When my glasses finally came after more than 2 months. The extra clear tinted lens that I got from him was wrong tint. I wrote him and email and he tells me that I should settle with the clear tint that he made for me. I told him is too light on the tint. He said I approve it. Clearly I didn't. I would highly not recommend him to anyone. When you call them no one answer and they did is from India. Therefore stay the F... away from them. They don't care about there customer. Bab service

I too was threatened when I refused to send in my Maui Jim sunglasses. He texted me using three different phone numbers. Sounds like he has been caught twice before.
I sent a fairly new pair of Maui Jim's sunglasses in early August of 2021. Eyeglasses Depot acknowledged that they got them. The representative said they were fake so I sent them the receipt from the dealer that sold them. Got emails from them that they would ship them back, I paid to have them shipped there and paid to have them shipped back. I have receipts of all. To date have seen nothing, been told some stories by a representative Anthony a couple of times.
I paid for return shipping on February 12th. I was given a quote of $150 to repair my Costas. I did not pay for the repair. I did pay to have my glasses shipped back to me. It is now March 1st and I DO NOT have my glasses back.
Ive emailed 3 times and called 3 times. No reply and no answer.
I just received my sunglasses back from eyeglasses depot. I have read the negative reviews and was concerned however I am posting this positive review to say that they did a nice job of replacing my lens which were discontinued and no longer available from Costa. I had cataract surgery and needed my prescription lens replaced with non prescription. They returned my Costa clam shell zipper case and the retainers that I had shipped to them. The company -- if you can call it that is a scam. They most likely re-sell the glasses sent in for repair. I am waiting on my repaired glasses and am having no luck! Very sad!

Sent my prescription eyeglasses in for scratch repair estimate. They sent an invoice for $61 total (shipping included) which I accepted. Then they sent another for $212. I replied that I had already accepted and paid the earlier invoice. "That was a mistake" you must pay $212. I said no, honor your deal. They said again it was a mistake, but would I do $175. No, send them back. 4 days of them asking me to pay and finally they accept no... but want to charge me $12.99 to get my glasses back.

Had a pair of sunglasses that needed a replacement hinge. It's 4 small screws. On their website it stated this repair starts at $35.00 plus $15.00 for spring type hinges. So I sent them in. I received an estimate for $150.00. There were two optional services. Ultrasonic cleaning and one other I don't recall. But if you eliminate the optional services, it was still $99.00 to repair. So I tried to call them. Could not get through to anyone. Tried chatting and received a text stating they have no time to "Chit Chat" with clients. Told the person I was expecting a $35.00 to $50.00 repair and his response was "No can do". So I paid an additional $15.00 to have them shipped back unrepaired. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Total Rip-Off!
After filing a dispute with my bank over repair that was never done, the dispute was upheld. Then I started to receive harassing emails from them, and they attempted to use my banking information to make an unauthorized charge. Once again, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!
My favourite sunglasses broke and were no longer available for purchase. Sent them to eyeglasses depot and got them back very quickly and they are perfect! I will use again!
The work done was great, and I've been wearing the repaired pair now for a couple of months and they're holding up. I was informed there's a life time guarantee on the work should they break again which is nice to know.
Don't use them, all I wanted was an estimate. They sent the post office to my home for a pickup, which I never ordered. Now they want to send me to collections for $9.95, indicating they are owed money. Total scam
I ordered some Maui Jim sunglasses at a considerably lower price than elsewhere on the web. When I first put the order through I was sent a weird email about having go through further security checks. I rang them and it turns out that this was because I was making my order from Spain (someone was bringing them out to me). When I explained this, they immediately put the order through and the shades promptly arrived. Fair enough. I would definitely recommend this shop for good prices and service!

The owner has been to repeatedly been to prison for mail and wire fraud and sending threaten communications to customers, Customers' personal information would get doxxed. JUST AVOID!
