Talked to their representative moments ago and assuming everything takes place as stated, I can not fault how they handled my defective item. This aspect of dealing with them deserves a minimum 4 stars. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I never received return correspondence relative to my email inquiry to my defective product. Other than being on hold for a moderately long period of time they were very quick in a resolution to my problem.
2 different orders BOTH never came. Say they were delivered via their tracking, I emailed the customer service department they said they'd issue a refund, still have yet to see it. Multiple emails back and forth. Don't order!
Their web site said if I ordered that day, package would arrive within 5 days. Great. I need it for a trip I'm leaving on night of 6th day. But then a day later I get an email message from FedEx saying it won't arrive until 7 days. I call fed ex, is there a delay, weather? No, FedEx says that this shipping method is 5 - 7 days. So I call FactoryOutletStore, complaining that it's misinformation on their site. They don't say it's a mistake, they don't apologize, they say "It arrives within 5 days for most people," as if that makes it OK.
I explain I need this item for my trip. To ship it so it'd arrive in time, it would cost $25 add'l but the store only offers to pay $10 add'l.
Fortunately, the actual delivery was done by USPS and I held my mail so this late package stayed at the post office while I was away, rather than parked on my doorstep. Though of course I didn't have the item I wanted for my ship.
The store did pay for return shipping and did refund my money so it's 2 stars, not 1. (Though for some reason at first they just refunded partially, I called and complained, received no explanation why it was partially, but rest was refunded.)
STILL, WHY THEY ADVERTISE THE PACKAGE WILL ARRIVE IN 5 DAYS WHEN THE SHIPPER FEDEX SAYS 5 - 7, I HAVE NO IDEA. IF EVERYTHING WAS THIS MUCH OF A HASSLE, I'D NEVER SHOP ONLINE!
I ordered a Garmin GPS unit online after talking with someone via chat about their product. Then I got an email saying there was a problem. I called them, This man Allen with an accent from India had we tell him everything about my information and my order. He was real insistant I give another phone number, I didn't have any others but he kept asking. Finally he said my card was rejected. I have excellent credit with no balance on my account. He wanted my credit card info again, and foolishly I gave it. He said it was rejected again. I have never had my card rejected. I bank with Chase not some fly by night bank. Anyway I said I wanted to talk to a manager, he said he was the only one on the floor. Really! I said I wanted to talk to anyone else, he would not let me. I said I wanted the order canceled and he kept asking for another credit card. I wouldn't give one. After telling him several times to cancel the order he said he would, I asked for the confirmation number and he ignored me and said an email will come to me, I asked 4 times and finally he said he could not give me a confirmation number. After again asking for a manager, his boss and getting to where, He did say it was canceled. I hung up and raced to my bank and canceled my card. The bank said there was no sign anyone tried to charge my card. So weird, this was so creepy. I will never do business with them again. This phone interchange was today July 11,2019.
Very misleading advertising in their presentation of a Garmin Drive Smart 51LMT and other Garmin GPSs with Traffic.
When you click on the What is Included tab it shows you a picture of a GTM 60 Traffic Receiver cable. When you receive the GPS you receive a standard power cable.
Called Customer Service and after talking to the CSR she said she was sending out the Traffic Receiver cable. When I receiver the cable it was again the Standard power cable.
After three phone calls a manager told me it is the standard power cable that is included not the pictured GTM 60 Traffic Receiver cable regardless of what the picture shows. A picture is worth a thousand words. VERY DECEIVING.
First of all I do not like talking to a foreign country for an American purchase. Then to be deceived by false presentation for what is included with the GPS, VERY BAD CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND BUSINESS PRACTICE. BUT THEN AGAIN THEY ARE NOT AMERICAN.
Spend the extra $ somewhere else... wish I read reviews before ordering... lied to me and now I am trying to get my product or a refund!

These people are CROOKS! I ordered a Uniden PC78LTW two way radio. They sent me a very USED Uniden PC78LT+ (wrong radio) in a very OLD and beat up PC78LTW box (right box, wrong [USED] radio!). Fortunately, I used PayPal to pay for the transaction and PayPal has a consumer protection plan built in. I initially tried to call the fraudulent ecommerce merchant using the number on their website. Each time (3 times) I was on the phone on hold (after going through a long drawn out automated system with erroneous adds) and then continuing to hold for another 15 minutes listening to corny hold music before I would get abruptly cut off and the hold music was replaced by a busy signal. Again, I did that three times consecutively before logging into PayPal and "escalating" my transaction into a claim dispute. Early that following week, I received a very poorly written email from factoryoutletstore.com that said it has come to their attention that I am disputing my claim. They went on to write encouraging me to contact them (and offered a "different" number to call) and THREATENED me that there could be additional fees and collection procedures. Of course, I thought, "Oh bring it on!". In the end, after PayPal reviewed the case as well as all the documentation and pictures I sent, they closed the case in my favor. I received a full refund. I have NO idea what would have happened had I used my credit card. BUYER BEWARE of factoryoutletstore.com. The are SCAMMERS, as well as CRIMINALS! Do NOT patronize them! They are very fraudulent!

I have a vtech phone set CS 6329-4 and wanted to add a handset. I called and spoke to the rep about this. He assured me that I COULD ADD A HANDSET TO MY CS 6329-4 Base. So I ordered what he specified ( this was May 29,2016) and received a CS6409. Presuming this would be compatible with my CS 6329-4 as assured it would by salesperson. Unfortunately because of illness I was not able to install it until yesterday June 23 and was shocked to find it was not at all compatible with my CS******* Base. I realize there was a 30 day guarantee, but under the circumstances I thought I was dealing with a compassionate and honest company, BUT NO the person told me they would not consider a return even if I was misled and sold the wrong product... tough luck, Pal but the the 30 day guarantee is up and you are stuck! Even when you are sold the wrong product?
Thought I was buying a Dewalt replacement battery18v. The pic in the add looked like the 18v Dewalt battery but what I got was an all black battery That was HALF THE WEIGHT of the original Dewalt battery. I used it one time and it lasted 20 minutes... Hope I can get my money back..
Plantronics Voyager 5220 I odered one from you and i did not get what i ordered instead i got the 5200 but paid for the 5220 And on the box it should be writing Plantonics Vovager 5220 But it is not on the box i got it say 5200 and so you know the 5220 cost more then the 5200 SO I am VERY VERY UNSATISFIED Paid for one thing but did not get what i paid for NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER

I purchased a Garmin 910XT from the Factory Outlet Store in September 2014. When I purchased it, they offered an extended warranty from a company called CPS ( avoid them too!). My 910XT allowed water to leak between the screen and the LED display. I called CPS and was told that the warranty on my 910XT was not covered for water damage. The 910XT is a triathlon watch and is exposed to water every time that is used. I called the Factory Outlet store regarding this and the issue I was having with CPS and was told that they could not speak with CPS and that they could not help me. I tried to explain that they were selling an insurance policy on their website that was bogus and they told me that they could do nothing form me. I called Garmin directly and found out that they had a relationship with this company in the past but that they ended that relationship when the Factory Outlet Store started outsourcing their Garmin repairs with a third party. Garmin accepted my watch and replaced it for a $99 charge. This was not perfect but they were easy to work with. I would avoid the Factory Outlet Store and any extended warranty offered by CPS at all costs.

Earlier this week, I placed an order for a GPS and paid an astronomical amount to have it sent via overnight mail as we needed it for our business ($36 to be exact). I placed the order by 4pm and received the email that it was received and was being processed. So, by 8pm I still didn't receive a tracking number so I decided to call and get a status. In talking to the rep, she stated that the item I ordered was on backorder; however, she could replace it with another unit for me. I was like cool, but, here is where the issue starts, she said, at first, I didn't make the overnight shipping for next day ordering time, I asked time did I need to place the order by and she said 7... WRONG, I ordered at 4pm, so, fine, give me back the difference in shipping, they wouldn't because now it would still be considered next day if I wanted it in 2 days because it was 8pm. Ok, whatever, just get me the GPS unit, Then, she is like, how do you want to pay for the difference... WHAT, difference? So, you are going to make me pay the difference to replace the unit that you are saying you have on a website which you don't? So, guess what I did... CANCEL! Customer Service is HORRIBLE! They offer items they don't have and then try to switch you to the other higher priced products.
I will never buy anything from them again. Bought 2 tablets from them and were both defective. No customer service. Dont waste your money

Trying to order a hard to find item that is pretty much backordered many places. Those who have it in inventory are asking more than those who are SOLD OUT and will notify when they get one in. So I pass many dealers who are honest enough to admit they don't have it, and also pass those stores that want extra BECAUSE they have it in inventory, and land on FACTORYOUTLETSTORE.COM What do you know. They have it IN STOCK, for $330.00 I pay by PayPal, get a confirmation and an invoice number. Two days later I decide to check on the status of my order, I log into my account using my Zip Code and my Invoice number, NO SUCH INVOICE. Hmmm. That is odd, because I am copying and pasting the invoice number they provided. Five phone calls later and after five disconnects I get someone in India who looks over the order and tells me there is a glitch. The glitch is not that my invoice number does not even show up, neither does my order. Then he tells me item is BACKORDERED. That is precisely what I tried to avoid. I don't want to wait for weeks. I want it immediately for a reason. Now I have to wait for them to refund MY money. PayPal has been contacted but they want to give the merchant to respond. Learned my lesson. STAY AWAY from these type of operators. I should have known. They are operating out of an Office In NYC. Not some warehouse. No store front.
I ordered a wallet with Factoryoutletstore.com even though it was listed as backordered. The website said it would fill the order in a few days. This didn't happen. The price wasn't fantastic, but I thought this was affiliated with PacSafe, the maker of the wallet. They aren't. So about a month later, I get a call from them asking me to swap the item for another wallet "just a little bit larger." I was tired of waiting, so I said to send it. Instead of a man's wallet, I got an organizer the size of a woman's purse. That will NOT fit in my pocket. I asked for a refund or exchange. I got the form and it showed a 15% "restocking fee" if the item isn't broken. This is unfair, since THEY were the ones that made the mistake. I filled out the form and asked for a lower priced wallet. They received the returned Purse (wallet) on February 5,2016 at 10:15am. I called today and they said the tracking is not good enough and they don't have the merchandise I sent to exchange it. They want more proof that they got the item. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people if you can help it. Any problems are NOT addressed in a timely manner and they make you jump through hoops to get what you paid for. I wish I could give them 1/2 a star rating and I will tell everyone in the world eventually.
UPDATE: The company quietly posted a credit to my card, so I didn't have to call the card company and contest the charge.
