Talked to their representative moments ago and assuming everything takes place as stated, I can not fault how they handled my defective item. This aspect of dealing with them deserves a minimum 4 stars. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I never received return correspondence relative to my email inquiry to my defective product. Other than being on hold for a moderately long period of time they were very quick in a resolution to my problem.

2 different orders BOTH never came. Say they were delivered via their tracking, I emailed the customer service department they said they'd issue a refund, still have yet to see it. Multiple emails back and forth. Don't order!

Ordered a headset fromt hem that didn't work. Was unable to get them to replace it. I had to spend $11 and a lot of time returning the item.

Rip Off Store. They make their money charging a 15% restocking fee. Do not buy from these guys. Returned a $400 GPS and they charged me $69. WTF!

I purchased 5 PLANTRONICS CS540 headsets from these company and 5 have issues. The company will charge you for returning items. Tech support will not call you back.

Ordered a fishfinder and an extra transducer on 5/20/2020. They charged my credit card. I received an email stating they needed my email and phone # which I believed they got it when I ordered but called them on 5/21 and gave the requested info. I was told my order would ship that day and would be sent tracking. A couple days passed with no tracking so I called and talked to a foreign sounding person and was told my order did ship on the 21st and he would send the tracking info. A couple more days passed and still nothing. I called again and talked to a woman who spoke with very broken english and was again told it shipped on the 21st and she would send me tracking. Nothing! I called again on about the 11th or 12th day and was told my fishfinder would not be in stock until the next day and she did not know when the transducer would be in stock. That confirmed that I was not told the truth all along. We called my credit card company and they stopped the transaction. At least I didn't lose my money but will never do business with Factory Outlet again. They are not affiliated with Humminbird.

Ordered a Garmin Nuvi 3590LMT GPS. I received a refurb unit, which wasn't made clear on the site at all. When I received my order the package contained a car charger unit that had the wrong connection for the GPS and no USB cable. After calling customer support they mailed me the correct car charger but the wrong USB cable. I called customer support again, they said that there is only one cord and I had the correct one. After explaining I experienced the same problem with the car charger and they did mail me the correct one. He continued to tell me it was the correct one, I asked to speak to a supervisor, after being on hold, I was told the supervisor would tell me the same thing, I again said I wanted to speak with a supervisor, then I was told a supervisor was not available. He said I could return the unit and emailed me a form. This the worst customer service! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Two words: STAY AWAY!

I ordered a factory serviced TomTom GPS with lifetime maps in the beginning of April, 2014, and, after after charging my giftcard Visa (but claiming the payment hadn't gone through, despite the bank waying otherwise), after 10 days or the order was finally processed and shipped. Shipping was, to their credit, quick and perfect good.

However, when I opened the box it was very clear this was not the the item that had been advertised on their website. There were no lifetime map code included, and the GPS itself was scratched and dented on all sides.

It was in a non-original hard leather cover, and the only sign of anybody ever doing anything 'refurbishment' to it was an (unoriginal) piece of sticky plastic slapped on the screen.

I contacted FactoryOutletStore by email 5 times through the end of April and start of May to obtaining a return postage label and confirmation they are going to either exchange the product for a proper, refurbished unit with lifetime maps, or a full refund.

So far they have not found me worthy of a response.

So I'm proceeding the only way I can: Disputing the purchase with my credit card company.

Obviously, I can only recommend you do what I will do in the future: STAY AWAY from FactoryOutletStores.

I ordered a self cleaning cat liter box. They sent me a FREAKING HARMONICA! What am I supposed to do, play the harmonica so the cats will clean their own $#*!?

I bought this laptop from FactoryOutletStore. I own a computer shop and bought this laptop for a customer that also wanted me to upgrade the hard drive to a solid-state drive. To install the solid state drive you have to take off the bottom case cover which is pretty simple on this model. However, once the bottom was removed, I noticed that the plastic part of the case that the right-side display hinge attaches to was broken and both screws were missing. There is no way you could do this damage by simply taking off the bottom cover. This was obviously done by someone else and then sent back. The strange thing is that you would not notice that the hinge was broken unless you took the cover off so I don't doubt that the person that refurbished the laptop didn't notice the problem. I just couldn't sale this to a customer.
I contacted FactoryOutetStore at once and I was told that quote "I am sorry to say we can not take this back as this was tampered with. Once a end user opens up the hardware and/or modifies it, we can no longer accept it back". I've never heard this kind of response from any company that sells computers. They consider upgrading a hard drive to be tampering. Ha-ha. HP actually gives you directions on how to replace a hard drive so how could it be tampering? Also, there is no mention of this policy on the FactoryOutetStore website. I was never able to talk to anyone with any technical experience and was only allowed to talk to Level 1 support out of India that didn't have a clue. I could tell that they were just reading off scripts in an effort to reject any returns from customers.
So, thank goodness I made the purchased through PayPal. I got them involved and they had the case wrapped up in one week and I had my money refunded after I returned the laptop.
I would not recommend doing any business with FactoryOutletStore. I would consider this company to be very close to a scam site.

No Money! (extra non-refundable ~$30 wasted)
No Time! (~3 months of waiting and arguing wasted)
No Spirits! (~over 7 hours of aggressive correspondence and horrible company employees' ethics wasted)
No product received after all and no apologies!

No to http://www.factoryoutletstore.com/ on U.S. market!

In fact, what is advertised on the website of http://www.factoryoutletstore.com/ is not what you are going to get shipped and the company aggressively declines exchanges and/or money returns! Finally in 3 month of fighting for some justice, money only partially returned, but no apologies for hanging up phones, extremely long waits and no notification by email or follow ups with a phone call were arranged after any adjustments. This down to earth UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE!

http://www.factoryoutletstore.com/ has very unethical and aggressive customer service. Once you pay your money, you can forget about their employees including management staff being polite and professional with you.

No! They won't work to expedite your order which was almost 3 month overdue!
No! They won't be sorry that you end up paying all shipping and restocking fees for misleading pictures of their product posted on their website!
No! They won't even feel bad for their employees' short temper and aggressive ethics to their clients!

This kind of companies must be banned by U.S. government to practice on U.S. market!
Most of their company's crew that came across to me don't even communicate the language a normal person would comprehend, and yet their warehouse is located in NY!
Shame! This is a 3rd world barbarian company that pretends to be something else.
Do not trust them!
Don't be fooled with their website, comments and the products that are listed in there!
It is nothing like trustable online market that most of us are used to!

My review is too lengthy to include all the facts in chronological order, so here is a summary.
1. Ordered a Stearns & Foster mattress (good price) on line and was asked to choose a delivery date. I picked a date for the following week, and my credit card was then charged.

2. Later that day, I received an email directing me to contact them via phone, as further info was needed to complete my order. They then stated that due to the Corona virus, my order would be delayed at least 18-25 business days. That's reasonable, but why wasn't this fact indicated on their website? Why did they have me choose a delivery date? I think it's obvious why.

3. Mattress was delivered a month later with the incorrect box spring. I re -contacted and was told the correct box spring would be delivered in 5 to 7 business days. Two months later I was still making weekly calls to get the box spring to no avail. They kept blaming the corona virus, but I contacted Stearns & Foster customer service who said that only mattress production had been slightly delayed in a couple locations, but that box spring production had never been affected by the virus.

4. After 8 phone calls and numerous lies, they offered me a $220 credit for the box spring which I accepted.
5. The delivery of my mattress was a sight to see. Only one person arrived and I watched him remove my mattress from the truck and place it on his head and walk up my stairs. If you aren't familiar with Stearns& Foster mattresses, they are extremely bulky and heavy (Queen). He was unable to get the mattress in the front door, so I had to help him lift it and put it in place. (I am in my 70's)
6. Conversations with their customer service people is very frustrating ( English)

I made a huge mistake buying from this company. They don't even deserve one star!

I PURCHASE TWO "BRAND NEW" MAGELLAN GPS. ONE ARRIVED DEAD AND STAYED DEAD. THE OTHER DIED AFTER TWO HOURS WOULD NOT WORK AGAIN. IF I COULD GIVE -10 I WOULD. THEY ARE THIEVES.

I thought it was just another online business online, I ordered a GPS and they sent it. I noticed I ordered the wrong one so I used the chat feature and they said no problem and they said there will be a 15% restock fee to return even though I was going to order the correct one from them! So I cancel anyways and order my correct one that says in stock, well the next day my status says on backorder! So I use the chat and cancel the order so I can get something in stock. Sure enough I order again with a gps in stock and next day it say on backorder! I want this soon like 2 day shipping. So, I call and sure enough it's what I have always expected... a lady that I cannot understand, she has a very heavy accent. They are suppose to be in NYC but I ask her how NY is and she has no clue what I'm talking about lol. So here is what factorydirectonline is... this place my be in NYC but they have no stock... they are banking that you ship snail mail so they have time to order from a wholesales called H. L. DALIS INC (of which are reputable) because they are the ones who sent me the GPS not factorydirect! I sent both GPS's back because I just have a bad taste in my mouth about this so called company. The only thing I will ever buy from NYC will be a slice of pizza and that's it.

They refused to pay for me to return a DEFECTIVE GPS i just asked for an exchange it cost me 15.06 to return wish i had looked at the reviews first. HORRIBLE STORE
