I'm the perfect fair customer - unsure how long I'll need the car but I know it's at least months so I don't want to rent. Fair presents very ‘fair' pricing with open ended end dates so you're not jammed in with a car you don't want. Sarah N a rep contacted me directly with a coupon and guided me through the process like my own personal angel. The dealer in Huntington Beach had the car in perfect shape and were really kind and patient. And Matt D from corporate followed up personally and was enthusiastic and genuine. I highly recommend Fair. You'll be glad you jumped in.
Me and my son both got vehicles from this location. They were awesome people. I'm on first name bases with these two. I can't wait to send more of my uber friends to Claremont and see Logan and Rudy! They are by far the BEST!
I enjoyed the simplicity of the app. I'm only here for 6 months and don't need a car with long-term commitment. Since I can bring my car back any time it suits perfectly. Happily driving around in my Jeep! Also
If you love kicking the tires before you buy but this one cuts him out completely. I got a great car for $200/month plus insurance for $80. When our kid goes to college in 21 months I can walk away. And the car is perfect. Just what I needed."
They made a copy of my license and within 5 minutes I had the key and was on my way. Definitely recommend it for people who are looking to try out cars or live flexible lifestyles where they can't commit to car payments. If you have an issue they have stellar customer service and will look to resolve your problem as soon as possible. If you're on the fence like I was just do it."
I wanted to rent a car but was confused about pick up and drop location. Talked with their customer service, they gave me a good option for both of us.
This is by far an interesting Pap. Unfortunately but an individual like myself that don't know much about cars and contract I am looking for more information. The prices are truly exciting for me as a single parent. However
Update 6/13/18: Problem still exists. Keeps looping back to the search page over and over agin no matter the vehicle. I'm done with y'all. Original post 6/11/18: This app is garbage. After I turned in my first Fair car (which I got in January and was actually a smooth process)
Signed up and was approved for a car last week. After selecting 1st car app still tells me I need to pick up car company will not confirm that they cancelled order told to call back the next morning. This is ridiculous and I understand it takes time for a refund to process back into my account however to not provide any documentation or anything. They say they record all phone conversations and chat logs well I have done so myself with screen shots and video recordings and will be putting in a dispute with my bank and attorney if necessary to get my money back from this company. Buyer beware definitely not as easy as it seems. I'd hate to see what happens if you get a vehicle and want to return it how long they continue to charge you."
Not a paid review. Long story short but a majority of places do not offer the maintenance coverage roadside assistance and other perks of leasing through fair. However if you're like me your credit is either poor or non-existent which means you won't qualify for most of those fancy lease deals that dealerships offer. That's where this app wins out. They will take a soft pull of your credit and if you have any repos
Didn't realize they were going to put an inquiry on my credit report without me even getting access to the app period! Would rather have not had that happen at all. Not very fair. I don't remember telling anyone they could do that either.
I had a Fair car for about 5 months. Aside from breaking down on the second day- which they did fix- my time having the car was decent. Honestly they do not care about their customers and only want to look good. Too many cooks in the kitchen here."
Would have been nice to know ahead of time that it checks your credit score. Your description does not mention it and it is deceptive. I even tried to use it for Uber so I can pay bills since my car is no longer in Uber's Vehicle guidelines. I got denied. Seems like they want to help themselves than others. It's harder for people who were young and messed up there credit and trying to get back on track. I thought I was going to a chance to redeem myself with Fair
Hate how this app doesn't list if it's an auto or manual in the basic info menu. Spent 45 minutes yesterday driving to a location to find out that the vehicle was an automatic. Poor layout and focus on things that don't matter like saying it has air conditioning and alloy wheels. What car for 300$ a month doesn't have that!
As a car enthusiast I know exactly what I want. More filtering options would be ideal rather than relying on seo to find a trim level you want. (Ie "mustang gt" vs filter by v8 engine) An option to save search parameters + enable push would also help.
Probably the worse app ever. I have been trying get a car since December but I keep getting a response back saying my drivers license expired which it doesn't expire until the next year. They supposedly fixed it but never anything new don't waste your time it's useless
This company has many issues. You are better off going to anywhere but here. I ordered a vehicle paid for it and after 2 weeks was told it would be another week for delivery then another then another. There is no one you can call or email. They do not return phone calls. Service is terrible
I have tried to obtain three separate vehicles. They check if you have money To cover the first payment then it says it's confirming the order. Three times I get an email saying the car in no longer available. This last time I called the actual dealership. They said they car is completely available. So I don't get the business model here. Sounds like a good idea but they cannot deliver. I would highly recommend avoiding Fair. Also almost every five star review is a bot. Check the most recent. I am now up to four vehicles that were unavailable. I am reporting this scam app and service to Apple. It needs to be pulled from the App Store.
I like the concept but the execution isn't there yet. I expect the app to get a lot better given how much money Fair has raised and who is working on it and my main suggestions are: include actual pictures of the cars only (not stock photos)
But I think it could be improved. This is a subscription era and I really don't mind they pre-screening or checking my credit score as long as they give me the flexibility. I highly advise the founding team to come up with a package like that. I mean those dealers have too many cars sitting there anyway! That is being said I'm going to try the service very soon and see how it goes."
Fair has a rating of 2.8 stars from 848 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Fair most frequently mention phone number, worst experience and credit check. Fair ranks 1355th among Autos sites.
