My daughter opened her Christmas gift and the white NIKE AIR MAX 97 had a pink stain on them. I took them to JD SPORTS and they refused to give me a refund because it was past 45 days. They told me that I could have put the stain on the shoe MYSELF and had to mail the defective sneaker back to finish line. I called finish line and they told me I had to contact the MANUFACTURER! What? Now NIKE says I have to file a CLAIM? THE CONSUMER HAS TO FILE A CLAIM WITH NIKE TO GET A REFUND FOR A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT! I PURCHASE A $100 PAIR OF NIKE SNEAKERS WITH A PINK STAIN ON THEM AND I HAVE TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER? What a hassle and inconvenience let alone being told that I could have put the stain on them. DONT TAKE A CHANCE ORDERING NIKE FROM FINISH LINE. THIS COULD BE YOU.
I bought a pair of air force ones for my daughter in Aug. 23,2019. After trying to track the package for a few days, and not knowing what had happened, I called the customer service and asked about the package. I was informed that the package never left for shipping and that they would order me a replacement. After waiting a few more days for a replacement, I went online to track the second pair and was informed that the shoes were canceled due to low inventory. I was then informed that I would get a refund in 7 business days. At which time it was Sept. 4,2019. I called to ask about my refund since I never received it and was informed that it was not processed and that the person at customer service would put in a request to the bank for a refund. Now it is Sept. 14,2019 a week later and still no refund. I have called again to ask where the refund is and she said that the refund did not get processed, but promised that I will have it in 3-5 business days. Now it is Sept. 20, almost a month after ordering the shoes and having talked to a higher person in customer service they have said that I should have a refund again in 3-5 days and that the request for the refund was just received yesterday. Just to let everyone know never buy anything from Finish line over the web. This has been the worst experience I have ever had in my 43 years on earth. If that rating allowed I would give finishline a negative 5 rating.
Never buy from finishline unless you are willing to get robbed without a gun. It was the week before Xmas I never received my order. After several calls of holding on for two hrs at a time and emails not responded to I was told their system shows package was delivered already. I explained I don't have any package they said they couldn't guarantee re shipment by Xmas all they could do was issue a refund but that would take days and it would be after Xmas. Reluctantly I agreed but then that never happened so again the numerous 2 hr hold phone calls and e-mails were done again only this time I was told with no explanation their back office decided they weren't giving me the refund because the system said the package was delivered. They even emailed me a refund email from the recorded initial call offering the refund. They refuse to allow me to speak to their back office and said they would notify them I don't like their decision not to refund me and ended the call. This company is disgusting thieves and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau & my credit card company
On 12/17 I ordered a pair of Women's Navy Converse sneakers from Finish Line for my daughter with the guarantee they would be delivered on 12/21-12/23 in time for Christmas. I would have gladly paid an expedited shipping charge if Finish Line hadn't provided that delivery assurance or I would have ordered from another company or tried to locate the sneakers at a local store. To add insult to injury I had to look at the transaction on my credit card statement to find a phone number for Finish Line since they never provided an email confirmation and wanted to check the delivery status. Upon calling customer service and waiting over 35 minutes on hold I was informed the sneakers would not be delivered until 12/27. I then asked where they were shipped from and how they were shipped and was informed they were shipped on 12/18 from CA via UPS ground. I'm not sure what this company was thinking but I can't imagine any ground service would be 3 days from CA to NY so why would they even make such a delivery guarantee? That said, it also should not take 10 days from CA to NY either. A bit of transparency from Finish Line would have been great, had I known the sneakers were coming from CA, I definitely would have made different arrangements in order to get this present here before Christmas.
I made an online order and opened the box to see creased and filthy Air Forces. Absolutely disgusting.
I do not know where to even start. I went online to order Jordan retro 6 infrared. All sites footlocker, east bay were all sold out. I found finish line they had the shoes in every single size all in stock. I took advantage of the opportunity and picked up 2 pairs about 360 bucks all together. I went through the order placing process and when I sent the order received a error message. I saw that i got a email from Paypal saying i gave 360 dollars to finish line, i thought they might have received the order. Just to make sure i called them, waited 40 minutes then hung up, i tried again, and again and wasted my weekended trying to contact finish line. With sitill no order conformation i called Monday night, i talked to a woman who could not speak English who gave me terrible advice an i could not even understand her. I called back and got another woman who just told me to call Paypal, I am not getting shoes, and might not get my money back due to "contract issues"! I contacted Paypal and thankfully have gotten my money back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE IT IS A SCAM! They need to get taken down NOW!
Be prepared to wait ages to get your money back when you return an item! Their customer service is useless too! This company sucks!

This was my first purchases online and it was HORRIBLE Im pissed tf off I ordered some shoes they sent me worn shoes I returned to my nearest mall(30mins away) a couple weeks later because I'm busy and that shouldn't matter but anyway they returned them for me but first called customer service and explained to them what I received they agreed that wen they got my return my money will immediately be returned to my card well 3days turned into 8 days I called every other day being told my refund is being processed then on the 10 day I called for them to tell me they sent the shoes back wit no refund because they looked worn! Huh?! No email call or nothing and lied to me for weeks TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE because duh they looked worn that's what I was returning them for and also the finish line worker explained that to them before returning smh
Definitely the worst company, bad customer service, bad business practice. Sent me an email three days after placing the order, and told me that they had to cancel my order because they couldn't verify my telephone number with Discover card, also told me they had called me on my phone and no one picked it up. Well, neither is true. Never received any call from them, no voicemail, I also called Discover and Discover said the charge was approved the same time the order was placed. Called FinishLine customer service, not ever the supervisor wants to get on the phone with me to give me a good explanation why they cancelled the order, even when I offered to use another credit card. They simply said the order is already canceled, there is nothing they can do, they could not reprocess it again. Told me to reorder from their website again at the listed price, but won't give me the same discount like the first order when they had a sale. What a joke, I think this company is a scam, they may not even have the products they are selling, or they realized they made a mistake on the price so they didn't want to honor the order. Bad business practice. Didn't even know they had so many bad reviews from other people until I Google it, should have done that at the beginning since this was the first time trying to buy from them. Save your time and your personal information, stay away from FinishLine, just a terrible company.

Answer: I wouldn't worry. They are a genuine company and they sell authentic products. It's usually easy to return if you are local to a brick and mortar store. To be honest, they ship quickly and the customer service reps are polite, they are just located over seas and sometimes there is language barrier. Also, most of the issues are during the holidays, I think. They are worth a try if you have a local store you can go into.
