I needed replacement filters for my refrigerator water dispenser. My local stores don't always have in stock. I called, and Fix.com supplied my water filter replacement within days. I am on an automatic replacement delivery. Couldn't be happier.
I ordered a glass shield for a propane heater. It was damaged in transit and never delivered. Emails and calls to fix.com were completely ignored. Refund or replacement request completely ignored. Support call line goes directly to recording 100% of the time. $35 lost. They are thieves.
My most recent use of fix.com was to get an ice maker kit and ice dispenser solenoid for a 12 year old Fridgidaire side-by-side ref/freezer. The ice maker just stopped making ice one day. Fix.com had a replacement kit. Their site had several customer's detailed instructions and tips to make the job easy. Done in less that 30 minutes. Replaced the dispenser solenoid too during the process. Making perfect ice again within an hour.
Shipping was super fast (I choose standard shipping), and I found everything I needed at prices comparable to or lower than other sites. Installation was very easy as indicated on the parts I ordered. I was able to fix my dishwasher and will purchase from them again. Very happy!
They have thousands of parts for all types appliances and look up by model number is foolproof. You can look up by what problem you are having. It brings up a list, by percentage, as to what part fixed your problem according to previous purchases. We had a washer issue, 85% with our problem needed a certain part which we bought and which solved our issue. MUCH cheaper that buying a new washer and the part was here the next day. Unsure of how to install? They have how to videos as well. We have used this site many many times for washers, dishwashers, refrigerator and stoves. Love this site!
Was about to trash my workbench due to broken leg post and purchase another but friend suggested Fix.com. I was extremely happy they had the part I needed to repair my old workbench. Received part quickly, made repairs, and bench is working great!

Put the mfg and model number and this site gives you a breakdown of all the parts, you select the part and place your order. What could be easier. Their customer service is the best! And pricing is half or less than the competition.

I ordered a part for my dryer, but found I had ordered the wrong item. There is no one to call personally at this time, but they provided a return authorization and shipping label by email, and immediately refunded the full amount (I did pay for shipping since it was my mistake). I ordered the correct part, and had it in a few days.
Waited 18 days before i could get someone to tell me my order must have been lost in shipping, even though i had been emailing to find out the status for 2 weeks. Then they told me i had to reorder and pay another $150 to order another one because they had to cancel the order.
I will never utilize this company again. Even with inclimate weather it shouldn't take 3 weeks to get a part delivered.

Use PayPal or something for this company, because they don’t care how much you spent they not helpful at all

I ordered 2 rototiller tires from Fix.com. Their box arrived half opened with no tires in it. There were some opened packages of tee shirts of other people's orders in that box. Emailed Fix.com and tried to call them. They weren't taking calls. Other attempts to contact them also failed. Have not received any call back nor acknowledgement that they even care about getting to the bottom of this situation. It's been 15 days since receiving the open box and my email requesting action. I bet though if I placed another order they'd be on that quickly. At this point I'm not happy with Fix.com or their delivery service FedEx. Neither company responds back. I have no tires and now they want a survey rating them. Well here it is... Unless resovled, the likelihood of using them again is 0%! Very frustrating! Buyer beware!
I have purchased twice on Fix and was very happy. First time to replace my vegetable drawer in my refrigerator. It was a perfect fit. Second time, to replace the vent above my microwave. Also perfect fit. The descriptions online are spot on. The part was shipped out quickly. Great company.

It was so easy to order a timer for my dryer by entering the make, model number and the part I needed. It came quickly and by visiting YouTube I replaced it myself! No waiting for a repairman and paying him for his house call. Awesome!
The hood over my stove over time had disintegrating light covers and then the filter spring popped out and there was no filter. The entire fixture looked dilapidated and I was afraid that it needed replacing - a rather expensive project. Took a chance on just replacing the worst parts. I looked it up on the internet and there it was an Fix.com. The price was reasonable for the five parts that I needed. They were extremely east to install myself and the whole hood looked like a new fixture.
My total experience was excellent. My phone call was answered very quickly. The customer service person was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. The lower dish rack for my Bosch dishwasher was delivered the next day. I was surprised how fast it came. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends. Very pleased customer.

I ordered at 10 in the morning and paid for next day shipping for a part for my pressure washer that I needed for work. Well they did not ship my part next day shipping and took my money for the shipping. I tried calling and left an Email with no response at all. Awful customer service.
I needed parts for an old old horse manure spreader. Bryan was patient while I explained my needs & he identified the parts. Sheila wrote up the order & shipped everything promptly. Because of their help my wife was able to fix the spreader & I was able to get back to supervising the work (only kidding).
I am an experienced woodworker and have experience with electricity. But dryer repair and troubleshooting is not in my repetior. The folks at fix.com troubleshot the problem with the likelihood of precision and were spot on the parts they recommended fit perfectly and the repair took ten minutes,( I already had the dryer disassembled). My wife while distressed that it took 4 days to get the parts thinks I am a rock star that can fix anything. As long as Fix.com is around she may be right.
We've had a few issues with our refrigerator and this was the second part we purchased from fix.com. We knew it was one or the other so we tried the less expensive part first and had to Come back and purchase the second part which in fact worked. Love this site and quick shipping!
Fix.com had the cheapest part of anyone else I could find. The replacement part was also metal where as the original part was plastic. My only issue was very minor, the shaft I was installing the replacement fan on had to be cleaned up with a file but that only took 5 mins tops. Very satisfied with the product.

I stripped my the blade bolt on my Toro Flex-Force electric mower while trying to remove the blade for sharpening. The bolt has conventional threading, counterclockwise (left) is to loosen, but it was overtightened (probably by me). My socket was old and cracked, stripping the bolt head. After much work, I got it out. Of course Home Depot, who sold me the mower, doesn't have the replacement part. Fix.com had the OEM replacement bolt/washer. It fit perfectly. I ordered a couple extras because the shipping is about twice the cost of one bolt/washer.
My husband, a finish carpenter, needed a new pad for his Porter Cable sander. He had looked at all the stores and could not find one. I looked on the Porter Cable website which led me to Fix.com. In no time at all, my carpenter had a new OEM pad for his sander and he could get back to his project. He is highly satisfied with the replacement part and happy to use the sander which has been so integral to his job.
We were on the hunt for replacement cast iron grates for our Whirlpool gas range. My range (for SOME reason) is missing the sticker with our model number. I searched online for what seemed like weeks... and could not find a photo of the parts I needed (since I was missing the model number, I definitely needed a photo of the range and proper grates). I finally found a photo of the range/parts/assembly on fix.com and promptly ordered the grates. They arrived in TWO BUSINESS DAYS... but unfortunately, they arrived damaged. I notified fix.com of the damage and they promptly refunded my money and they did not require me return the damaged set! I was SO happy not to have to deal with that hassle! The site analyzed the problem and suggested a fix. I went with their recommendations and ordered the part. Installation was doable and the dryer works like new. Shipping was really fast too. I searched on the website for a reaplcement side table for my grill using my grill's specific part number. The side table it recommended was not for my grill. I did not realize this until the side table arrived and I tried to install it. When back to the website and did the same search, I then realized that it recommends the wrong part (for a different grill). Instead, the search should have shown no results.

I cannot find my order because I checked out as a guest. So, I cannot return the item.
