I wanted to buy a good torch, with a good battery back up, long range light and of course a durable one. As I put my search on web, Amazon, flipkart and indiamart appeared to be hijacking the entire search. To be brief, I short listed on a torch with 8000 mah battery, steel body, 1 km to 1.5 km of light range and 150 watt power consumption available at flipkart. It took me hours to finalise all this. My consignment reached me within seven days. I paid the delivery boy as COD and he left my place. As I was busy with some guests, I opened the parcel after a few hour. The torch in the packing was much inferior to the specifications. It was from a different company. Of course they say that they will take back the item, but I will have to wait for at least a week to get my money back into my account. It costs a lot of time, energy and attention. It takes away your peace of mind. You also get late in getting the things you need. All this courtesy flipkart.
Necessarily delivery is getting delayed logistics for no reason. Flipkart makes lots wrong commitment and this is not the first time happening from Flipkart. Discription on the portal is completely different from reality. Also, i have been trying to call customer care number since 3 days and the numbers are inactive. There is no proper customer care service or team.

Dear All, Please meet Flipkart these folks sell stuff and do not accept the returns when the product is faulty. I had ordered a mobile phone. Upon checking, I learned that it has inferior camera quality and has other issues as well. I requested for return and it got canceled. They sent a technician to check the phone. The technician ran a check himself and agreed that the phone has major issues. He then pushes fake updates that the phone is working just fine. When I spoke with the Flipkart executives, they assured me that the phone will be returned and the refund will be initiated. To my surprise, It got rejected and the case came back to square one. All this happened 4 times. Yes, 4 Times. Here is the order ID OD**************. It is not about money, it is about what you are being promised and you do not get that. Flipkart CHEATED ME by not delivering the rewards related goods within stipulated time and dragged the issue till it expired
I had redeem my super coins in flipkart 1st then i was asked to pay a nominal amount to encash the offer i didboth later i received coupon code to purchase from leafstudios when i applied the code it was showing as invalid code i complained to flipkart customer csre that i got a invalid coupon code i appreciate about few executives tried sincerely to solve it seriously but it didnot materialize and it kept on dragging till the code expired
Leafstudios say the following code LSDASH202K3577CNCFK is incomplete

In Noida, I had the pathetic experience of Flipkart services. On many occasions the Flipkart delivery executives will call you twice/thrice to ask you for address & by the end of the day will update that customer was unable to be contacted. They would neither carry their card swiping machines nor change if you want to pay in cash. If requested for any particular time slot, they say their day starts at only after 11AM, by 5PM they say they have returned home for the day and will deliver the next day.
I also had the experience when they have called to come to receive in the main road which is over 200m away from my home address. If a customer has to spare so much time and invest in repeatedly following up, why to buy it online? Reality is Flipkart outsources the logistics service by 3rd party vendors who do not give a damn to what customer service they are giving. Their aim is to deliver Flipkart's orders in their own convenient time slots rather than the customers. And to this the Flipkart's customer executives do not have any contacts to their delivery executives to inform the customers requests.
With so much of my time wasted on every orders that I had, I would think twice before ordering from this online shopping platform. I wouldn't recommend it. It would be time saving to visit a market and shop there. Thanks.

I initially had a very bad experience with Flipkart, but after some years, I thought company would have changed and thought of giving them another chance. But seems like company has gone from bad to worse.
I ordered a product on 10-Sep-21 order id OD**************. It was supposed to be delivered by 17th. But they didn't deliver it even after a week. I raised an issue, and they told that issue will be resolved at any cost by 23rd. Means i had to wait for their leisure time. I did wait. But again product didn't arrive. 23rd night at 9 PM, when I chatted with their customer care, I was asked to wait till end of day. What the hell. I told then it was already 9 PM and not 9 AM. Did they expect me to wake up till 12 in the night as it was already 9 PM. Then with lots of difficulty I spoke to one of their supervisors. Obviously this guy refused to transfer to his supervisor.
The supervisor assured me of issue resolution in two days of time. I told her that I would prefer to wait rather than cancel the order and go through this painful process over again. Next day morning, I got an email stating that my order has been cancelled and my amount has been refunded on 01-oct. What the hell. How can my amount be refunded on 01-oct when mail came on 23-sep? And see they way they have manipulated their systems. I am unable to even reopen the issue. Shame on Flipkart.
Details of this order can be verified through order ID I mentioned earlier.
Now I am sure of never going back to Flipkart ever in my life. I am sure other customers too would have faced similar issue. That is the reason, even after having such a huge backing, Flipkart is loosing to Amazon in India. And I am sure with such an experience, Flipkart is soon going to run out of business in India.
So friends, please check for other marketplaces. They are much better than Flipkart.
