Thank you so much Fraser Engines, for helping me get over the 5.4 3 valve cam phaser blues... I done my homework on looking for a new improved 5.4 and I found it at Fraser Engines... All the upgrades that were done on their engines made it more easy to breathe knowing they have corrected all the problems that Ford did not... I went to Ford dealership where I live, and they wanted $6800 to put new engine in and I ordered mine from Fraser and had a shop to install and still all under $5000. Thank you very much Fraser Engines, I will be a repeat customer and telling all my friends. Now my 2006 Lincoln Mark LT runs like a new one.

So initially I called them because I did not want to do the back & forth of email, just wanted to get a price. It appears that they use a phone service to screen their calls because they said someone would call me back with a price. After 3 days, still no call back. They did return my phone call with an email that looks like spam stating "Follow up. Follow up. Follow up, We will match or beat any competitor's price" That was fine. So I replied with several questions, as well as, letting them know that I was down to 2 choices & told them what the other company gave me for a price. They replied with the same form email with no additional info. Now I'm getting upset. I'm simply looking to get an engine as quickly & cheaply as possible to get my business back up & running. I am stressed out enough already because Mercedes Benz is choosing not to honor their warranty and now I have this company playing childish games. So this was my reply "If you guys don't want the business just let me know. I am making a decision today. Thank you" Guess what they do? Reply with the same form email with the addition "Lol" What kind of a business does this type of stuff? Then I question their professionalism, they call me rude & it turns into a name calling contest. All I was looking for was a price on a reman engine & cost to install & had to endure this trash

After the engine I bought from them sucked a valve after 150 miles. They made me send it back. They accused me of overheating the engine, removing the heat tabs, and putting on dirty covers. None of which are true. They refused to honer their and I quote "5 yeas/ Unlimited miles NO FAULT (one time free replacement no questions asked)" warranty. They now have $4,448.00, original engine core, The engine I bought, my valve and timing covers, and my oil pan. When i talked to the owner Robert Fraser he told me he would charge me with insurance fraud for removing the heat tabs if i took legal action against them. THERE WERE NO HEAT TABS ON THIS ENGINE! According to them they were supposed to be heat tabs on the back of the heads. Here is a picture of the engine the day i took it out of the crate. Clearly nothing on the back of the heads. Buyer Beware.

This was the problem that was brought to my attention last week.

Important Heat Tab Information
Heat Tabs are installed on engines to detect abnormally high engine coolant temperature.
The Heat Tabs are placed on the cylinder head(s) and on the engine block in an area that is in
Direct contact with the engine coolant. They can be found mounted on the casting surface or
Inside of a freeze plug.

If the engines operating temperature reaches or exceeds 250° F the center of the Heat Tab will
Melt and flow out. This is a positive and certified method of determining whether the engine
Has reached a temperature beyond the normal operating range, thus voiding the warranty.
***The warranty is also void if the heat tab shows any signs of being tampered with or is removed
From the engine.***

FAILURE OF AN ENGINE FROM THE EFFECTS OF OVERHEATING IS NOT COVERED UNDER
THE LIMITED WARRANTY.

Here's what I can do for you... I can, and will talk to production we can work together on solving this problem.

Significant improvement over the original Chevrolet engine. Problems with oil consumption are gone. Will suggest that anyone with a 2.4 liter in the problem years to replace with one of these engines

Anthony at the front desk was beyond un helpful and disrespectful. Name calling and beyond rude. We are a local family owned business. We were ordering a 4,000 dollar motor. When Anthony decided "i couldn't care less if you do or don't order from us" his words. When asked to speak to someone else or a manager he proceeded to say he was the manager and refused to transfer us to someone else because of our "attitude" when we apologized and asked how we had attitude as we are simply just trying to order a motor. He said "im not asking you if you have attitude i am telling you" "im not asking you im telling you who you are and how to be better if you want training ect ect" ive been in customer service for over 20 years and I've never experienced even my worst employees talk to customers like this. He has interrupted us screamed at us and refused to let us even talk. Listen to the calls. This guy is beyond disrespectful. He has now called us back multiple times and just keeps insulting us and calling us names. I have the calls on recording and I will be blasting this everywhere and I will make sure that none of our customers and business ever purchases anything from this place again. Future buyers beware as they won't help you or warranty their stuff when it fails either. This company needs to get their counter straight because this is not okay.

Do not use them! They will lie and steal from you and will not help you.

I have purchased two engines and a transmission from Fraser in the last couple of years. If I were to grade their products based on these three items I would have to consider their output to be average at best. As for satisfaction with their warranty claim representatives, trying to get one of them to return any of my calls has been ridiculous and their efforts to get back with the Automotive Repair Shop should also be considered a complete failure. Trying to communicate with any of them causes complete and utter frustration. I truly believe customer satisfaction is not even a consideration. The repair shop and I have been led along for nearly three weeks only to find out that just now they will send the repair shop a motor but only after another 4 weeks. Now that they have finally make an attempt at honoring the claim there is a nationwide shortage of 4.0 parts. Go figure. Now I will wager that after 4 weeks I will have to start calling again to find out why the repair shop still has no engine for my vehicle because they certainly won't be calling me. I am very doubtful that any future customer will get to see this feedback. I can only hope that those responsible for this horrendous experience are dealt with swiftly and effectively.

Yesterday, 1/16/2023, I placed my engine order with a salesperson named Jimmy. At the conclusion of the phone call, I was informed that the sale was finalized and that my engine would arrive in 7-10 business days. This morning, 1/17/2023 around 0830, I phoned Frasier back since I did not receive a receipt nor did it post to my bank account. I was transferred to Jimmy. While on the call with Jimmy, I explained that I had not received a receipt, and he informed me that the transaction had been refused and that the last engine of that specification had been sold. He said that someone tried to call me yesterday and if I wanted an engine, I would have to consider purchasing one of the more expensive brands. I attempted to ask him what time whomever called, but he became agitated and said "that doesn't matter" and "who cares?" and became real irate. My experience has taught me that someone who denies to address a circumstance so strongly is being dishonest. He then abruptly ended the call like I didn't matter, and was just another "phone call." In addition, he is behaving in this manner against Veterans who have served the country for 20 years or more. This information was on my original product request form and I was "thanked for my service" yesterday. NEVER AGAIN WILL I conduct business with a company that treats ANYONE like I was treated. What happened over the past two days was not a coincidence; rather, it was a blessing in disguise, and I hope this helps someone make the correct choice.

Worst customer service disrespectful and VERY rude talked to a man called jimmy he said he was there for 30 years and he asked me how many engines did he have. Obviosly i dont no, he wouldnt transfer me as he said he was the only one that could help me he wouldnt take the quote number i received the prior day asked him again for a different salesman he got mad rude and told me he was going to block my number, so i called back and guess what i got a different sales person she said jimmy was a real problem My hopes are that the owner David Fraser see's this review and see whats happening in His own company. BIg companys go down too I noticed alot of bad reviews and its all about the sales reps and their rude and disrespectful attitudes I just bought 2 bad engines and both were put in the car im on engine 3 so his disrespect didnt help any

The bad reviews that you're reading here are true. I purchased and engine in November 2021. It was shipped and delivered in January 2022. After being installed there were immediate problems with the engine. Coolant and oil leaks. I filed a claim in early April 2022 and after my mechanic got into the engine to repair it, he advised me that there were 10 freeze plugs leaking. Yes, every freeze plug was leaking. What he thought was a rear main seal leak was actually were the upper and lower engine block comes together. My mechanic advised me that this was an unrepairable engine. Fraser has asked us to return the unrepairable engine to them. I told them that I would not accept that same engine back and would only return it if they promised me that I would not get back the same engine. They told me that if they had another engine, I would not get that same engine back. I said that's no guarantee. So here we are now in late July 2022 and no word from Fraser. I've had to contact an attorney. Please find another engine company to use and don't support a company that is taking people's money and not providing what they promise.

What an idiot. Ordered a motor reluctantly since such bad people skills of the salesman. He said motor would ship "tomorrow", a week later i asked him about the shipment. He said it would ship on thursday and if i got no confirmation to call back on friday. I called on friday and he said it was shipped and i should recieve confirmation same day but if not any confirmation by monday to please call back and he would look into it. Monday came and went so on tuesday i thought i would give the courtesy call he requested of me. Wow, i was not expecting such s rude pr. K! I did not even say hello and his words were, "is this patrick"? I said yes, and that is when he started laying into me. He smarted off didnt i just get off the phone with you, your an unruly customer, i should just call and turn the truck around, you have no right calling me. I snapped back that his empty promises and the fact he had $4000 of mine was justification enough as well as he was the one requesting my call. I also let him know that once the motor is shipped, he literally cannot turn the truck around nor has he shipped my motor. Positive part of this purchase: full refund.

First transmission replacement; Fraser sent me a direct check for $800 to cover my mechanic. We let it go the radiator/oil/AAA tow bill. Now after transmission 2 & 3 I have been directed for 4 months too Moveras the actual transmission manufacturer; who will be $300 of the $800 bill for my mechanic. I am out $1000. 00 To top it off "PAUL" said 6 weeks ago "he would make it right, if Moveras continued to refuse to make the payment" and today the "owner" said he was contacting his attorney and i am not to ever call there again. Note: the decision to install this 4th transmission was after checking with Ford for $1200 labor cost; and $3000 for a new transmission that "Paul" and i determined this would be the last time i would try the Fraser sold to me transmission. They reinterated that they are a "broker" selling others products, and i should be furious at Moveras. However, having one check for the 1st transmission for $800; and then the promise "to make it right" today they state nope-it wont happen.

Asked for a transmission and engine quote and I was sent a screen shot of what is already on the website. The information provided was just the engine pricing and not the transmission. I asked for the Engine and transmission quote three times over text and again over an email reply. I never once received an quote for the transmission. I recommend taking down the option to get quotes if all your going to do is ignore what is actually being requested and just trying to brush people off with information that is already on the website. I was excited to do business with this vendor after hearing the August 7th podcast about their high ranking customer service. But turns out it was in fact the worst Customer service I ever encountered. This is just one conversation. I did not add the emails or the other person who text me also Or the other emails that tried to rush a review before I was even was given the information I requested. I added photos of the text, yes I misspelled words, but I was speed typing because I was frustrated at that point. This was the third contact I received from this company and I never was given the price of the transmission. I uploaded the text because I don't want this company to lie and say I am making this up. I know my rating doesn't count in this vendors eyes because after listening to the podcast, if you're not an "official" Customer they just don't count your rating. Now I see why.

As for as not returning my core I was told by Frasier not to return it when I tried too. To keep from getting the money cross up because that was a refund.

ORDERED A MOTOR AND RECIEVED A MOTOR THAT WAS JUNK TRIED TO GET THE COMPANY TO WARRANTY IT AFTER COMPLETE FAILURE. I bought my 5.7l hemi 2003 ram engine heavy duty high endurance from them and it's still running like hell on wheels! Damn good engine! Sounds like a lot of you people are having problems with customer service as did I even back then. But now it's sounds like customer service has gotten way worse. That's really a shame because they did make good engines 4 years ago and it sounds like management needs a revamp. If the actual owner reads this know that you make the far superior engines than what these garbage auto manufacturers are making as most of their engines are made in Mexico the very same country now flooding our border their rejects. We Americans have to stand together and I for one want to see this company grow stronger and it won't do that by insulting and degrading it's customers. Or lowering it's standards. If you have bad employees? Get rid of them even if they are family because family can destroy a good business faster than anything if they aren't devoted to said business. As for my engine I followed the break in instructions as if it was God himself talking to me and I keep nothing but clean oil in it. Engine is so damn good I decided to restore the whole truck. I couldn't buy this truck today because all they are making is crap. All I can say is that I bought this engine 4 years ago and I am not disappointed. As for staff, that was an issue 4 years ago and doesn't sound like it got fixed. Really be a shame to see another American company go to hell because of the help.

Ask to speak with the owner. Don’t deal with his lackey’s. Now if the owner gives crap and is rude I suppose there’s other options out there. Now he sells his heavy duty high endurance engine’s to Jasper who turns around and tacks on another 1800 or at least that was the case for my truck. So I wouldn’t argue with him over the price.

Called today 9/11/2020 again after getting a run-around about two valve-3 valve engine. That they said they couldn't tell from the previous call. Wasted two days and the previous guy said he couldn't tell from my VIN? So talked to this guy * who said he is the owner? After going thru what I want to order a 4.6 engine with gold option, he said he had to add a mandatory $99 fuel charge because of the weight? First I have never heard of this in three different calls to explain the charges. So I guess I'm fine and tell him I want to use the $100 coupon and he then tells me that by check or bank transfer. He says its right on the coupon, just not exactly as he said, it says e-check which probably has no charge back protections. So i ask to speak to the Owner, and he says hes the owner and he will pray for me? This deal got bad with all the additional charges and they even charge for the core upfront and make you prove return. Also the $99 fuel charge is just another fee as most trucking companies charge flat rates. The BS to take away protections of after sale for chargeback is unheard of today in this business, so if you do decide to do business here be wary and make sure its all in writing.

PS after posting this review on this site and others I got a text from *******612 that was run by someone at Fraser engines that reveled all of my bio and address. I will file a police report concerning this matter and will document to other sites

Tried to get a quote for a engine on a Ford Mustang GT. I tried to get with a person to ask a couple questions before purchase. I tried calling twice, I tried thru e-mailing 4 to 5 times and 5 or more text, but to no avail. I would get alot of text/ e-mail asking me if someone had contacted me and I always replied with "No" still no help. Finally called again on my lunch and got hold of a salesperson Anthony who told me that they had just sold the last one a hour ago ( remember I started calling 6 hours previous) to purchase - when I balked at that he told me " I could pout about it later, but he would check" - he came back and said he had one on hold, but had not been paid for, but had to purchase in the next 30 minutes. I had my mechanic try to call him and he was extremely rude to him also, so I did not purchase. (Desperate for a engine, but not that desperate) I; m sure he thought we were just browsing and wasting his time, but If someone from the company wants to get in touch with me - I will be glad to produce the bill of sale from another company that I purchased from. FYI - I wouldn't act like that unless you are the only engine builder in America. Would give a negative review if I could. Angry in Texas

I Call Around 150-450 places A day For My Job As a Parts Man And This is The Most Disrespectful And Unprofessional Place I Have Ever Call In My life Not just For This Job If They Want To Make More Sells They Need To Be Good To There Callers And Customers As A Commercial Business Parts Man They Have Lost My Business For Good. Need To Know Core Price-Warrant-Availability-Finale Price-Delivery Price And Pulling Teeth Is WAAAY Easer Then Calling This Place Up I Have Had To Call Them Back Like 4 Time In A Row On The Same Engine To Get Every Thing I Need If They Would Just Stay On The Phone for As Little As 2 Mins And Not 20-30 Secs And Not Have All Those Call Backs People Trying To Get All The info They Need They Would Not Have The Phones Going none Stop Most SORRY PHONE SERVER I HAVE EVER SEEN IS 15 YEARS AS A PARTS MAN!
