Thank you so much Fraser Engines, for helping me get over the 5.4 3 valve cam phaser blues... I done my homework on looking for a new improved 5.4 and I found it at Fraser Engines... All the upgrades that were done on their engines made it more easy to breathe knowing they have corrected all the problems that Ford did not... I went to Ford dealership where I live, and they wanted $6800 to put new engine in and I ordered mine from Fraser and had a shop to install and still all under $5000. Thank you very much Fraser Engines, I will be a repeat customer and telling all my friends. Now my 2006 Lincoln Mark LT runs like a new one.
Bad people at this so called business very rude and try to void warranty even before engine is installed! Lied to not honest business
It is too good a great service and with great quality of workers it is simply perfect in its professional field

So earlier tonight I'm directed to this 'SiteJabber.com' site to leave a review for another company. When prompted to sign up for an account, I discover that by signing-in with Google I already have an account where of three reviews I had long forgotten about, Fraser Engines was number 1. It took me a minute because it had to have been in early Spring of 2018 when I contact Fraser about needing an engine for my then 2008 Mazda 3. It all came back to me and I couldn't be more happy that I never transacted anything with these people.
The long & the short is like this: I spoke with a man who initially was helpful and informative. He said they had my engine, that it would be a remanufactured engine. I was quoted and we were to speak the following day. The next day, there was something about my order needing to go through a manager for some reason or the other, do it was then a waiting game. The way it ended was just simply that contrary to what had been discussed, they actually did not have my engine in stock, remanufactured or otherwise and basically escalated to me attempting to reach a member of their management team. This never came to pass. In the end, it was a complete disappointment and frankly, I remember being very angry over this. I know there is more detail in there that just doesn't come right to me but I can say, without reservation, thst I am so grateful for never doing business with this place. After reading some of the reviews, I couldn't help but remember what a mess this was! Never would I do business with this place!
What should be blatantly obvious is that what this place is doing is inflating the actual retail value of these engines, then turning around, locating the engine from who or wherever, tagging it to their business name and then passing it back along to the vehicle owner. I note a previous user who was waiting for over a month for an engine he was told they had available. They may have some stock but it's minimal. I would not EVER do business with this place. It's nauseating reading the experiences of others.
Dear SiteJabber Readers,
We at Fraser Engines value transparency and integrity, which is why we feel it's important to address concerns raised in a recent review. Established in 1961, Fraser Engines has proudly served the automotive industry for over six decades. Our longevity in this competitive field is not just a testament to our commitment to quality, but also to our dedication to customer satisfaction.
We understand that not every interaction will meet expectations, despite our best efforts. On average, we engage with over 4,000 customers daily through calls and emails, striving to provide detailed and prompt responses. While we receive a significant amount of positive feedback, represented by over 15,000 reviews, we acknowledge that the experiences shared online often represent a minority of less favorable interactions.
Regarding the specific incident mentioned, it appears there was a misunderstanding concerning the availability of an engine. Our network includes several reputable vendors such as Jasper Engines, TK North America, SRC, AE Manufacturing, and APS, allowing us to offer a wide range of products—from certified to refurbished engines. This network is crucial as it enables us to meet diverse customer needs, although, admittedly, this can sometimes result in adjustments to pricing and delivery times.
We regret any frustration caused to Mr. Aaron and would like to clarify that it was never our intention to be misleading. Our customer service team is trained to handle inquiries with the utmost respect; however, we recognize that misunderstandings can escalate disappointments. We assure you that any reported rudeness or disrespect does not align with our values.
Fraser Engines is committed to continuous improvement. We invite feedback and constructive criticism as it helps us refine our processes and customer interactions. We encourage potential customers to consider the vast number of positive experiences and the robust nature of our operations, which are geared towards fulfilling customer needs reliably and efficiently.
Thank you for taking the time to consider our perspective. We continue to strive for excellence and customer satisfaction, maintaining the high standards that have been the foundation of our business for over 60 years.
Sincerely,
The Fraser Engines Team
I bought a crate Chevy 5.3 from Fraser engine. It was between them and Jasper. Fraser offered a better price and warranty (on paper) than jasper did so they got my business. Fast forward less than 60k miles on my engine, and it needed to be replaced. And this is after spending 3 separate trips to a mechanics shop over the course of the 60k miles driven. In that time, I was threatened by the manager of Fraser that if I posted anything negative, He would void my warranty and sue me in court. What kind of customer service is that? The engine was eventually send to my mechanics shop, installed and given back to me. Except several cylinders were deactivated. So Fraser sent me a defective engine. After taking it back to the shop, Fraser then had to send out the parts to fix what they messed up from the factory. So my engine was never quality tested before leaving their facility. I am now going on 60 days since the claim was started and almost 45 days since the engine was replaced. They have not paid my mechanic 1 red cent for his work, which is all covered under Frasers warranty. Even though Fraser has been paid in full by the warranty company for the work done. And the mechanic is not releasing the truck till he gets paid in full. 60 days I have been without my vehicle. This is extremely unacceptable. I guess there is a reason JASPER is a superior company. Save your money and time and buy a JAPER ENGINE if you ever need one. This has got to be one of the most unreliable companies to deal with. Getting in touch with anyone that isn't a call center phone screener is next to impossible. I've owned fords and this is the biggest waste of money I can imagine
My SUV has been there since June 23,2020, but my car broke down May 19,2020, and I'm still waiting for Fraser Engine to do the work on my car.
On January 2018 I had initially decided to replace both the engine & transmission on my 2011 Chrysler 300C due to a failed timing belt on engine and ordered both via Fraser Engine which was installed and ran great except for 1 thing it had a problem buring oil right out of the starting gate which inevitably ended up using 1 quart of oil every 2,000 mile which did not work for me... after discussing issues with Fraser Engine on August 2018 they sent me a replacement 5.7 liter hemi engine and paid the labor however the replacement engine only went 27,000 miles and while on cruise control at 75 mph with no warning or engine lights completely shut down... vehicle was towed to my mechanic and it was determined that engine had no compression and had thrown a timing belt."again" I did contact Fraser Engine who had another guy by the name of * in charge of warranty for tri-star engine that rebuilt engine phone me and immediately after I said "Hello" cut me off and said "I want to be very clear with you and if you interrupt me before I am finished talking or say anything at all I will hang up and we will be finished and went on to say are we clear... do you fully understand before we begin"... I was then told he has bad news for me and they will not replace engine... * made a stressful situation a nightmare as he was unprofessional, rude, and a cold harded p---k that should never be in the eye of the public and left me with a bad taste in my mouth particularly in his mannerism. I can tell you that there is no way I would ever consider doing business with this company again after the way he handled my extremely stressful situation with a 2nd bad engine in 12 months from same company... bottom line I ended up selling the car for scrap and decided to wipe my hands clean of Fraser engine, Tri star engine & *. It seemed obvious to me they have a major quality control problem in their production line and decided to cut my losses.

Order an engine mid July. Male who answered was rude and hung up when I asked about different warranty options. I needed the engine so I called back and ordered it. Within an hour the core price went up. The final price was 17% more than original quote and some of that we know is taxes but 17%?. I was told 2 weeks before delivery and when I asked for tracking number I was told they'd call me back in a week with it. I had to call them a week later and was told the engine I bought "didn't dyno test right before shipping" and they had to order parts and it'd be another 4 -6 weeks. I waited an additional 4 weeks and called to find out status because I needed to get the vehicle back. Zero information available and I had to leave a message for someone else. Called the following day and was told that the engine had not yet shipped and that there was "nothing in the notes" about the status or ETA. I was asked me if I wanted to cancel the order. I asked for a few days to think about it. The rep said they would not cancel the order yet, they would wait until I got back to them because they "didn't want me to lose my place in line" – which I found to be a very strange comment since I had already paid for the engine a month prior – I shouldn't be in any line - I already paid for it. The following day I called to cancel the order. I was told I had to speak to a supervisor. That man was abrupt and when I asked him to email me a confirmation of the cancellation he said I'd have it soon. We never received the cancellation confirmation so I disputed the charge with my credit card company and was given a conditional refund. Now its another month later and the credit card company reapplied that huge charge back on to my account, supposedly sent me a notice which I never received. When I looked at the letter they sent, which they directed me to on their website there was no rationale or details about the response from Fraser Engines, but they would not have reapplied the charge if Fraser Engines had been honest about the failed and cancelled transaction. So 4 hours later and 2 additional calls to Fraser Engines and we just got an email saying our credit card has been refunded... no return calls, just the email.
Based all all available information it appears Fraser Engines never had the engine they sold and charged us for 2 months ago and they not only never processed the cancellation refund, they were dishonest when contacted by our Credit Card company about the dispute.
Since we already wasted 2 months on this BS we figured it was worth spending another 20 minutes to warn others.
For the money a engine was the most difficult thing
I've ever had to shop for.
They seemed to have great reviews on google
