THEY ARE NOT TRANSPARENT. NOWHERE did it say they will charge $2 for the trail and NOWHERE did it say, you have to wait for next month to get the rebate i. E. after you pay for 1 month of using it. Essentially a click-bait and probably a rip-off.

I also signed up for this to get the $10 for free shipping. They then started charging my card $13 every month. I noticed this one day and wasn't that upset as I just figured I had overlooked something and forgot to cancel before they started charging me. I emailed customer service and was given confirmation that my subscription was cancelled and they would stop charging me. I didn't pay much attention to my card statements as it's not that big of a charge. Yesterday I noticed that 5 months later they are STILL charging my card! I was livid and contacted C/S again and demanded a full refund. They said they couldn't, but when I was emphatic that I wouldn't stop until they issued a full refund they replied and said I would receive the refund in 2-5 days... We'll see if that happens... I'm not holding my breath... BUT DO NOT FALL FOR THIS LIKE I DID. TOTAL SCAM.

Sneaky scammers

I was just finishing a order to be delivered from kohls department store online,then suddenly I get a pop up from American Express Fraud department stating a charge and subscription from SHIPFREE.COM, I did not authorize this subscription,they are sneaky and I believe they sneak through the cracks and charge your card for something you don't have any,I'm getting a new card now, if you have this problem call your credit card company,and call *******165 for shipfree.com

I just discovered today that for the whole last year, I have had this recurring charge of $12.97 from freeshipping.com for a nonexistent service that I supposedly signed up for. Since I have auto bank pay on my charge card statements, I was not able to view the charges or payments made every month.

I was SHOCKED to find that they were charging me $12.97 MONTHLY since August 2014! For nothing in exchange. This is another term for Highway Robbery.
When I called them to complain, they told me that I signed up for the free trial membership when I purchased a textbook online and that I did not cancel the trial membership within the 30 day trial period.

I called them twice, and told me that they would refund me only for one month subscription even though I specifically told them I was cancelling my membership. I asked them what service was I subscribing to when I hardly purchase anything online other than a book or two every school semester.

I advise everyone to BEWARE of this company, they tell you they are PROCESSING YOUR REFUND but what refund are they talking about. There are too many loopholes. They tell you that you signed up for free trial membership online and were given a 30 day to cancel

Their words are. Misleading. I never received any service from this company, much less any free shipping that they claim to provide.

I requested a total refund of the charges made to me, but they declined.

This is a SCAM!

I do not what gives this company the rite to go into my account and charge me $12.95 without my approval, I do not know who they are, People should be aware of FREESHIPPING.COM is stealing money from people I had contacted my bank and put stop on the charge and made a claim.
People need to be aware that FREESHIPPING.COM will go in your account and take money with out your approval how they got my info I do not know.

I have joined many online shopping rebate clubs and they all have their perks. This is the first one I have ever paid for. I wondered how long it would take me to earn back the monthly fee and decided that as long as I made more than I spent I would keep using it. I joined in September-ish of 2014 and even though it took me a few months to save a substantial amount of money, I can honestly say that this is the best rebate site I've ever joined, even with the monthly fee. The max you can "earn" per year on % rebates is like $1000. And the most you can claim for shipping refunds is like $500. I will certainly hit the $1000 maximum and will definetly claim almost $250 in shipping refunds. I've used the return shipping a handful of times and that is probably worth about $100 today. Then, with the price guarantee, I received a refund of almost $100.

So - for $156 a year membership, I have received this year alone about $1400 - $1500 in savings. It's work but it seems worth it to me!

My only complaint is that sometimes, I follow all the requirements for a rebate to a "t" and every so often it doesn't get recorded for a rebate. Trying to dispute it is a waste of time, they won't hear you at all and just send a form letter saying basically "sorry but you are SOL" That makes my blood boil. If another company offered the same program and had a better tracking system I would join it in a hearbeat.

I feel bitter if not very angry with how our partnership had worked out.

Or it is a scam and I was fooled into giving you my credit card information.

I wouldn't notice it if only it wasn't the fundraising money we've been raising for XANGO Goodness cause.

Towards the end of my 7-day trial offer I decided I probably wouldn't use the service - but I couldn't find how to cancel on their website, so I slipped into day 8 and was, of course, billed. I did finally figure it out (the HELP menu), so after I cancelled on day 8, I wrote Customer Service and explained it was not intuitive to go to a HELP menu to find my Account information (and suggested they change that feature to something more straightforward); and I requested a refund on my first month billing. They got back to me 9 hours later - on a weekend - and issued a courtesy refund, indicating the refund would post to my account in 2-3 days. I haven't seen any action on the $10 cashback (documentation from Ebay purchase sent in 11/21) - but their submission confirmation said "We will review the documentation provided in the order it was received, and your claim will be processed within 3-6 weeks" - so I will be patient. In all - so far a very positive experience!

WEIRD UNFAIR RULES

I HAVE USED THIS SUBSCRIPTION FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND COLLECTED A GOOD AMOUNT OF CASHBACK & SHIPPING REBATES. BUT WHEN I REACHED MY CAP FOR THE YEAR I CANCELED M MEMBERSHIP AS I DIN'T WANT TO KEEP ON PAYING THE DUES IF I WASN'T GOING TO GET ANY MORE REBATES, ISN'T THAT A LOGICAL AND OBVIOUS CHOICE ANYONE WOULD MAKE? NOW WHEN A NEW YEAR BEGAN AND I WANTED TO JOIN AGAIN, I AM TOLD THAT I CAN'T DO IT BECAUSE THEIR RULES PERMIT ONLY 1 TIME MEMBERSHIP AND THAT I CAN'T CANCEL THEN COME BACK! I apologize for any confusion. There is only one membership allowed per household. If you cancel your account you would just need to contact us directly so we can reinstate this for you. Also, in regards to the missing cash back. If you made a purchase that you believe should be showing in your account, if your rebate isn't showing, that means we didn't receive any of the purchase data from it. We are not withholding any of those savings from you. Once you reach out to us about missing cash back, we then report that missing purchase to the retailer.

It claims to offer free shipping on hundreds of items purchased from online retailers, but they fail to emphasize until you sign up that this you have to pay to receive the free shipping. Is free shipping then offering free shipping if you have to pay for it? On the one hand yes but on the other hand no. In a sense it is moving the cost of shipping from the retailer to them. Oh and they promise a rebate. Well the rebate will cover the cost of the sign up if I get it but after signing up and paying for the first month the rebate was scheduled to be sent after the second months payment would have processed. This means I would have paid 2x what the shipping cost me to get a rebate. So if I cancel now and don't receive a check I have paid 2x for the shipping. If they send me a check its a wash and I won't be out money. We'll see what happens but I doubt I receive the check since I cancelled instead of being out more money. Shame on me for thinking they would rebate in a timely manner. Shame on Freeshipping.com for not being more upfront with their policies... oh wait if they did that then everyone would know it is a bait and switch scam.

I saw an offwer for a electric bike for 99.99 -- so I stupidly bought it through PayPal. Backed up by my AMEX card. No info from the seller --

5, Guangdong ******* CN! After a few weeks of no contact - I DID recieve a tracking number and a few days later got a small padded envelope in the mail with a little plastic suction cup in it -- It had the same tracking number that my bike was supposed to have! PayPal said to return the item and give them the new Tracking number by a certain date -- but the return address they gave me was the one above! So I asked for and address in ENGLISH! -- I sent it back to the return address on the package San Leandro CA -- Then I get an email from PayPal saying my claim was denied for not providing them with a tracking number which the document in my claim history (it was Delivered Sept 3rd)

Don't go near FreeeShipping.com! Or PayPal for that matter. Now trying to resolve with AMEX

I had charge on my credit card from the website listed in this review; when I questioned the charge, I was told via an email that I had signed up for a membership for FreeShipping.com for an offer to get a free shipping rebate for an order placed with SportsFanfare.com - I told them I had never placed an order with or visited the SportsFanfare.com, and I asked FreeShipping.com to refund the $95.88 to my credit card. THEY NEVER RESPONDED. I HAD TO CANCEL MY CREDIT CARD BECAUSE OF THIS.
