I received damaged stud earrings from Gilt, via Eye Candy LA. This was due to Eye Candy improperly packaging them for shipment. If they had only boxed them!? Gilt handled my issue immediately sending a free return shipping label. They have great customer service
They advertised the red rouge bottle. I received some remake fake yellow stuff... And I paid $12 shipping. It is a scam... beware... see pics below... i am pretty good in detecting scams and did not detect this one. Because they did seem legit, but sent counterfeit product. Konstantin
I purchased a coat from gilt that was never delivered, company was immediately notified, customer service requested that I file a police report (which I did) in order to be reimbursed, and the company still refused to reimburse me. They are untrustworthy. But at your own risk!

No international customer service reps to speak with! I called to return my $600 Chloe boots as they were too small and got an email days later saying sorry final sale! Do not buy from this site terrible company. Scammers!

Some good finds, but slow delivery. You really never know when you are going to get an item. I'm angry at the moment because I just received jeans, clearly with creases that shown they were worn already. Of course not returnable.

1st time, they sent me the wrong item. They've now twice yanked the replacement due to "issues with the vendor" without offer of substitute or incentive. Cancelling my account. Still waiting after nearly a month for two other pending orders.

They still don't give you great service on returns. It always costs unless you want a credit with them =$10.00! I do like their products and shop there all the time. Good deal on shipping if you plan to buy more than once in 30 days-otherwise you can pay $10.00 for one little item. Still worth looking at as there quality is fantastic.

Unbelievably quick response to a damaged shipment. Solved the issue, and though there are not any of the item in stock now, the customer service rep Maureen placed them on my wish list in case more come into inventory!

I have only ordered two items from this site. The first item was an Ali Roe dress for $100 -- in the picture described for a 5'9 person, I am 5'11. It didn't even reach my bottom." I then ordered oxford flats for 50 dollars. Again not happy, they arrived today and look like they've been worn the wooden sole is chipped and the leather has creases. Again I will have to return this and pay for shipping so I'm basically negative -10$ and to further infuriate me. They claim it's the cheapest price. Well untrue as DSW is selling the same shoe online for $19.99 in more colors with free shipping! Very dissatisfied.

For years I rarely shopped elsewhere--loved the merchandise, the service and Noir benefits. Then in Feb. Noticed new $9.50 restocking fee on each returned item. Really? NEVER seen anything like that--runs completely counter to all I loved about Gilt--good quality, good discounts, easy returns. I emailed about the fee, which btw had been stealthily slipped into the policies, and was told twice that was the policy and nothing would be done. Haven't shopped there since and never will--if you're shopping online returns must be simple and free--can't believe they don't understand this. Too bad, used to be a great company.

I ordered a pair of earrings. One arrived with a missing crystal. Gilt refused any exchange or refund insisting that it has passed the return period. The order was placed in late May and arrived in late June. I did not notice it until early Sept. Indeed my mistake for not checking it carefully. But even if the crystal has fallen off within the first 2 months, I should still think the retailer is responsible, at least for facilitating a complaint with the supplier. The earrings cost close to $200 as well. Besides, on their international help page, there is no time frame specified for returning damaged goods.

I have always had a great experience shopping here. Authentic product for discounted prices. They use bargain basement shipping, so you have to keep track of your packages... but they do send emails when the package is out for delivery, so pay attention! Return process is easy. Love this company!

Unfortunately I had the worst customer service experience with this company. I purchased 6 T Shirts from there page and only received 5. After a month and endless e mails no resolution. Every time I e mailed them response was we will get back to you in 5 working days. It has been 20 working days. I am sure they have a happy customer base but when things go wrong they do not take any responsibility. Honestly it is not worth taking the risk

Unless you want to lose money, don't ever shop at Gilt! They false advertise, sell items well over their retail price and don't resolve customer issues. This company is a joke.
They advertised a Balenciaga handbag as $999 on sale from $1325. It turns out that the bag's retail price is $785. I submitted proof (Balenciaga online sent me an email stating this bag is $785) along with pictures, dimensions, and links from other retailers. Gilt's response has been "we cannot match that sale price".
My sister wants to purchase a necklace from them and I told her not to buy anything from Gilt! It is now my mission to tell everyone about this horrible company who should not spend one more day in business.

Unfortunately, I had to give at least one star to submit this review. Gilt deserves ZERO. Returned an item because color looked nothing like pictured. Gilt received return 8-13-20 and they never refunded me payment. They gave one excuse after the other and kept saying 7-10 business days. I filed complaint through PayPal and they secured my refund today, 9-11-20. If you work hard for your money, and you probably do, don't do business with Gilt. Their customer service is nonexistent.

Purchased item November 24,2020 for delivery date 12/04/20. Contacted Gilt, they only updated new shipping date with creation of label that same day. It is now December 08,2020 - no shipment movement of item in question. Worse service I've seen in year. Will not be back.

Some guy named Paul Meegan is the worst piece of garbage customer representative ever. This company has lost a valued member of the company, and the fact that they cannot accomodate their loyal customers says something about their poor business practices. My friends and family have all stopped buying from them, some of those who spend thousands of dollars a month.
Their no refunds policy is the worst I've ever experienced. EVERY other business is able to make exceptions, why can't they? And the previous reviews were right, they often send you the wrong item, and don't even give you a discount. Sometimes their deals are even more expensive than if you bought it directly from the store! What a joke and scam of a company. Buyers, beware.

I have been a gilt customer for years spending way more than I should. They are great until you need to return an item. Recently ordered expensive ruby and turquoise earrings. Nothing in the description indicated that the rubies were slices. Big surprise when they came in the mail. This is illegal! But even worse it renders the earrings worthless. Next stop for me is my lawyer. Why would a company jeopardize their relationship with a good customer. Makes no sense
Gilt ultimately took back the earrings. I thought I was receiving a refund... but of course it was for store credit.

My problems with this site/company are two-fold. First, it is taking between 20-25 days for my order of a t-shirt to arrive after purchase. Second, when I emailed customer service about such a lengthy delivery time, it took them one week to respond. They also never addressed the issue/explained why it would take so long to deliver my shirt. Just told me how to find the estimated delivery time on my account page. I guess sluggishness runs rampant throughout the company...

Overpriced inferior products with excellent marketing and a horrible customer service! I remember the time when the site was first launched and it seemed great. Excellent customer service that balanced out the effect of getting hyped by overly marketed product that looked very far from what was pictured. Nowadays they'll give you a hard time returning even a broken item and it will be a credit note as if you would want to continue buying crap from them again... Stay away from all their ventures! I even had troubles redeeming their city vouchers and they simply try to distance themselves saying it's up to the vendor to accept the certificates! Buyer beware.

I have been shopping at Gilt for years and haven't really had any problems. I order quite frequently and have used many coupon codes. I will say sometimes maybe like 3 times it didn't work but I am 95% satisfied - I have bought gifts shipped to families and they have like all of them. On the other hand some of what was said here I experienced at rue la la so I can understand the frustration of cancelled orders etc. Actually my orders ship very quickly - I don't know if being a Noir member makes a difference

To be fair I got some decent prices on some cute stuff for my toddlers. Ordered a lot. Spent a lot. Achieved premier status... but the love affair is over. Their referral program is a joke. They don't follow through when you solicit for them you don't get your credit. They come up with excuses. Their customer service just sucks in a nutshell. Don't even bother because they're right no matter what. I've been sold now on sticking with my old go too Nordstrom rack and sacks off fifth. Prices are just as good and customer service is miles above. Seems Nordstrom and Saks appreciate their customers.

I am a long term customer, and never had problems with my orders or items. They sell great brands for great prices, items arrive quickly, packed very well. Taking one star off because the shipping is a bit high for some items. I would order more often, especially kids clothes, if it didn't cost me $5 to ship a baby shirt or a pair of earrings. May be a longer free shipping period, 1 day instead of 1 hr? Other than that - love, love, love!

I was a loyal regular guilt customer until now. I have purchased Burberry boots and wore them once for 30 min the stitching between the zipper and leather part came out creating a whole. Can't wear, can't be repaired, expensive luxury brand. Called customer service and they don't care because it is a final sale item. I spend a lot of money on this site, they won't do anything, very rude. Shocked and disappointed. Bye bye Guilt.com
