I received damaged stud earrings from Gilt, via Eye Candy LA. This was due to Eye Candy improperly packaging them for shipment. If they had only boxed them!? Gilt handled my issue immediately sending a free return shipping label. They have great customer service
They advertised the red rouge bottle. I received some remake fake yellow stuff... And I paid $12 shipping. It is a scam... beware... see pics below... i am pretty good in detecting scams and did not detect this one. Because they did seem legit, but sent counterfeit product. Konstantin
Overpriced for a supposedly discounted luxury clothing. The suggested retail prices from which they are comparing are fake -- don't fall for it. Additionally, if you have a cart with items and go to checkout, it will process without you being able to review. This happened to me and I tried to immediately reverse it but I got NO HELP from Customer Support. Items were final sale!

A website that sells handbags and accessories is called Gilt Handbag Shops Online. Because there are so many different brands, styles, and colours to pick from, I think this website is fantastic. Their goods are of excellent quality as well. I especially adore the sophisticated and lovely design of their bags.
Anybody who enjoys handbags should, in my opinion, visit this website because it is the ideal location to shop for new ones.

I wanted to give a review because there are so maybe negative ones on here because of that I was very hesitant! I decided to go ahead. I places my order for a pair of Valentino shoes which I might add I got for an amazing deal! I ordered sat and used rush shipping my order shipped out Monday at noon and I just received today tues as expected! The shoes are gorgeous and i am so happy I went ahead with my order! I have 4 stars bc there was really no protection around the shoe box inside but they were perfectly fine. I also had to wait 20 min for a rep to answer my call but once she did she was very helpful! I am so happy and will definitely use guilt again! ;)

They hav a good deal for designer stuff which is amazing. I also got a cool pair of Prism sunglasses from them before. Always wanna buy from them again but since you cant return anything to them, that has stopped me from buying dresses and shoes.
Also for the size guide, it is very vague, esp for designer dresses and shoes, they need to be more specific. For example, house of harlow shoes tend to be bigger, they did not say that in the page, yet I found other websites stating that out clearly.

I am not new to the site. But their terms are horrible. I understand "non- returnable policy" and comply with it, but when the item has been returned (most of the times) for credit you have to wait and wait till this credit will show up (forget credit, the arrival of return!) in your account. This is ongoing problem with their site when they hold your money hostage and there is no purchase basically made. Terrible business. I keep forgetting how bad they are buy from them, not any more.

Sandals broke after a few wears and come to find out, the Valentino logo was made of plastic. I confirmed with Valentino in NY -- these were NOT authentic and they urged me to stop buying from GILT.
Such a disgrace. Will never shop with this brand again.

I purchase these shoes in June 2023, only worn them once when I realized the weldts on both side of the shoe. I reached out to Gilt for them to advise because it have been more than 30 days it's nothing they can do. These shoes are not only irregular but poorly made as if they are knock off (which they states they don't sell). I will be reaching out to corporate (Stellar Mccartney) to see if these are authentic, if not... I will be obtaining a lawyer for deceptive sells on Gilt part...

I several items from Gilt July 8, a month later only one of 17 items arrived, and it arrived broken. The packing slip shows there should have been several items in the box, but that was not the case. All the other items are still show 'in transit'. This is so frustrating as many of these items were summer gifts for friends.

I am another victim of the tmobile tuesday gilt.com rip off.
They are lousy! Lock you out! I spent real money in addition to the gift card my family was given.
I guess they limit 1 per order so they can make more money off of people and their insane shipping rate of $7.95 for a pair of socks.
I used gift cards and also paid some with my credit card... they charged my card yet did not send me any emails! I have contacted my bank, credit card company and Better Business Bureau regarding their awful handling of this. I am lucky to have a good credit card company that sided with me and is looking into this matter.

I will in the future no better than any purchases from the subpar retailer scraping the bottom of the barrel for a discount retailer well gilt is a low as you can get. Reminder with that you can expect no service no quality and little to no satisfaction but they will offer a bucket full of bs and headaches and plenty of work for you trying to do the contortions needed to get them to give you refund. Remember you get what you pay for. Gilt has a lot of reasons why there might be an issue but none for resolving it and as Jen the customer supervisor told me in no uncertain terms "you're on your own". And with a patronizing, condescending tone, ask if there was anything else she could assist me with. Lesson learned I know next time next use Gilt.con

Hoop earrings top half snapped as I was inserting into my ear for the first time. I called to complain but I was told the return policy was 30 days, but it was beyond this time frame even though I had never worn the earrings. I'm not sure the earrings are truly 14k gold which is supposed to be stronger. These earrings are flimsy more like tin foil and I will never shop for jewelry at Gilt or Rue Lala again.

I ordered a handbag that cost over 1700 dollars. I never got the bag. I have going back and forward between Rue La La and Gilt trying to get a refund because at this point I don't want the bag if they did send a replacement. It has now been a month and they mysterious have not receive my claims form thru us postal or via email

Never again will I order through this company. I am a shopping addict, and have spent too much on websites like these. I have noticed Gilt prices are more then competitors like hautelook. Not only that the shipping is ridiculous! I'm still waiting on something I ordered a month ago. I called customer service and wow so rude. Never ever again. Stick to hautelook. Gilt is horrible. My friends love this site because of the deals. Beware, they will spam you on a daily basis, but the email newsletters do contain some great stuff. Each sale only lasts for 36 hours and they are really serious about that time limit, so if you want something, you have to buy it pretty much exactly when you get the email. The good deals sell out fast too... and sometimes I wonder if the deals are too good to be true because when I try to order something, it often says the deal has already sold out.
The $25 dollar referral fee to get your friends to join is how I think this website spread so fast, I got 8 friends to join and then got a free purse :)

I have been a member of gilt for a very long time, always loved the clothes I bought. Recently they changed their return policy with credits for items under $200. I am a bit upset as I bought a top for my mother who is ill, top came to 189 and they won't let me return it for a refund. I was hoping to get back the money to help her out. Don't know if I will shopping here anymore. Pleas go back to your regular return policy.

I purchased a pair of sunglasses that are easily authenticated and guess what "FAKE"! My return process begins... wish me luck. Secondly had them authenticated by the actual company and they confirmed that it is a fak also. The lenses are supposed to be gradient.

They accidently sent me two of the same item and charged me twice for it. I called angry and ready to argue my tail off, but they were actually really apologetic and understanding! I said, "and I don't think I should have to pay the return shipping either" and the representative said "of course ma'am, I'll take care of that for you"! I wish more company's had customer service like this!

Spoke to Customer Service Representative and Supervisor. About to place a Tom Ford belt. The app is charging a sales tax - which is incorrect as Minnesota don't charge sales tax on this belt. They keep on insisting that this should be taxed. Even the revenue.state.mn.us says so of the tax exemption. When I placed orders from Neiman, Saks, Nike, Nordstrom they all honor that. I hope that their business is doing well as they lose a loyal customer from me. 30 mins time wasted.

I would give no stars, if possible. I have used Gilt several times, bought a Rolex and other upper-end products. But, never again. They sold me a fake Chanel and have been dishonest since. They won't accept authentication from anyone except Chanel and Chanel will only authenticate a bag purchased from them. It's a catch-22 for sure. I will pursue this legally. Their guarantee is worthless.

I have order many products through Gilt. Especially Predire Paris. I live in Florida I get all my stuff with 3 to 5 days with no problems. And the products are 100 legit.
I'm not sure why people are complaining about Gilt. If you buy on line it takes up to 2 weeks to receive things. There is a process they must go through.
The people complaining are the same people that complain in a restaurant to get the food for free.

Possibly there is new Managment or customer service just does not care.
I have been a happy guilt customer until my last purchase. I ordered two items, had an email co firming and over a week later an email stating they could not ship as they over sold the teo items. It I s, but two.
It was o cilia as they were expensive knives that it was an I side job and someone inside Gilt two my two items. If it were my company, management would have looked into this inside scam.
I wrote Customer service two times and not one response, only confirming an inside theft of my items.
Maybe it is time to find other sources as loyalty has no place on Gilt.

The site set up, policies, customer service AND delivery are all below par. International shoppers BEWARE. The site is not friendly in terms of payment convenience and accuracy. The deals may seem good and exclusive, but I just lost a lot of money only to be told that I am the exception to the rule. If that's so, buy at your own risk.

Although my order fulfillment experience was a poor one, the customer service staff has been amazing. Each time I wrote, each time I called - they supported me with diligence and professionalism. I think Gilt's customer model is one many companies should follow and learn from. I don't think it's a service center in Hyderabad or the Philippines that's for sure.
