This is a fun site. It seems that there are great deals to be had. But I ordered an oriental style rug described as 100% wool. When it arrived it was almost threadbare, of poor quality and non-returnable. Won't do that again.
They advertised the red rouge bottle. I received some remake fake yellow stuff... And I paid $12 shipping. It is a scam... beware... see pics below... i am pretty good in detecting scams and did not detect this one. Because they did seem legit, but sent counterfeit product. Konstantin

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. They have extremely poor customer service and the quality of their products is sketchy. I will NEVER EVER do business again with Gilt nor Saks Fifth Avenue (Saks owns Gilt).
Tricky site! Take money from customers for no reason. Tell you one thing and do the opposite. I will never order from them again!

Do not order from this site! The quality is awful and if you want to return an awfull thing they give you less money back ..I am not talking about shipping money.
Horrible, I realized the size may be too small and cancelled immediately. They shipped anyway... lost over $300 because they will not take it back
The rep was quick to reply and offered two solutions I found acceptable. I ended up accepting a partial refund. That refund's already been processed.
This site sends emails of online searches that I've done, and offer me in email forum the related clothes, etc, that I like

Gucci item was delivered in styrofoam paper with no original packaging. Product seems to be of inferior quality and will be returning it.
I've purchased many products from gilt. Sunglasses, watches, and a couple shirts. I plan on continuing to shop the deals with gilt.

I ordered some boots. Noticed they were shipped from ky. Looked up warehouses there. Turns out amazon and zappos have warehouses in same city. Looked on amazon for boot. They sold it for $100 less than gilt. I called cust service to price match so we both could avoid return hassle. It's only $7.95 to return merch over $199. Mine was over that limit. They were only willing to go down $50. Meanwhile, gilt responded to my email request for price match. They said they couldn't do a thing. I wrote back indicating their phone customer service gave me a different story. Bottom line is gilt is good at flash sales that play on your emotions. They aren't good at fulfillment and even tho they own their warehouse it uses the same robots as amazon and is possibly under lease. Gilt is just a middleman. Wait til you can get the product for much less money since they are unwilling to actually do any customer service. I won't buy from them again. Even Nordstom rack had the same shoe for less. They shouldn't need to price match if they were actually pricing the products competitively. There's a lot you can read about the business model and what happens behind the scenes. Gilt should be called jilt.

Horrible return policy! You only get credit for gilt.com if the item is less than $200. What a SCAM if I knew this I would have never ordered.
I am a Gilt Noir Insider customer and have spent a lot of money throughout the years and so I thought they would honor my complaint and provide a refund. However I was severely mistaken. I have been scammed. I purchased a preowned Chanel bag which was advertised as "excellent condition" but when I received the bag it was in poor condition. It had clear signs of wear and tear with stitching loose on the bag and a tear on the handle. The leather was worn out and there are stratches on bag. The definition of "excellent condition" is listed on the gilt website as "minor signs of handling". Tear, loose stitching, faded leather throughout and scratches which are clearly visible is not minor. After contacting Gilt several times and also sending pictures evidencing the imperfections, they still refused to provide a refund. I am now going through my credit card company to dispute the charges and in the process of filing a formal conplaint against the company for false advertisement. They have lost me as a customer including my friends who work in fashion and cannot believe the condition of the bag! Please do not buy from Gilt as I don't want anyone to have to go through what I am going through now.

Here we go again, mostly I have been pretty happy with GILT, I look everyday and find myself buying frequently. Then they just disappoint. In my case I purchased an ALLEGRI windbreaker at a super deal, $99, it was an after Christmas blowout. I own a lot of pieces from this company, some from GILT, some from Italy. I prefer "made in Italy" but understand that some production is from China. I'm cool with that because I could still see/feel the quality. When I received my windbreaker I was stunned, no way is this an a ALLEGRI product. Yes, it did have an ALLEGRI label, sewn kind of weird, the jacket looks/feels like something cheap from Walmart (no offense WM) There is no way this originally sold for $730, I at least triple overpaid at $99. Why do you do this? I'm not even going to bother contacting because I've been down this road of "non-refundable" before. This product is counterfeit or some weird plan with someone to rip-off/make money. See you GILT, I'll take my thousands yearly somewhere else. If a GILT rep reads this and satisfies this by allowing a return for credit, I will consider it. Bad taste.

Be careful. Mostly I have good experiences, then I get a doozy.
