This is a fun site. It seems that there are great deals to be had. But I ordered an oriental style rug described as 100% wool. When it arrived it was almost threadbare, of poor quality and non-returnable. Won't do that again.

They advertised the red rouge bottle. I received some remake fake yellow stuff... And I paid $12 shipping. It is a scam... beware... see pics below... i am pretty good in detecting scams and did not detect this one. Because they did seem legit, but sent counterfeit product. Konstantin

I have been shopping on gilt for 5 years or more. But as soon as I wanted to contact their customer service for their fault (not even returning order or smth), no normal answer. They blocked the order amount twice, I received my order and was deducted the amount once, but another amount is blocked since 3 weeks now and they say we don't see this. Who does that? And I am sending the emails and every time I get the same robot answer that they are sorry. 0 customer sevice!

I made a purchase while a 40% promotion was running. When I was finalizing my order I forgot to enter the code to have the 40% off applied.
I contacted customer service, who got back to me quickly and they refunded me the difference. I had a great experience!

I was a little bit worried because of all the bad reviews, but my uggs were REAL! With such a discounted price ($150= $100) I was a bit worried. But they exceeded my expectations! So happy with my order, plus, they gave me a chocolate bar ((:

Tip for consumers:
Don’t be bothered by the bad reviews!! Just know what you’re buying, know what to look for, and think reasonably! If it’s a diamond necklace for only $50, it’s probably not diamond! Just think!

I was just recently introduced to this website and already I am in love. I made my first purchase late last week. After reading some horror story reviews on similar sites, I was not expecting to receive my order for at least a week or two and fully prepared for some terrible problem to occur with it. I received my package today, not even a week after I placed the order AND the pants I bought are absolutely fantastic! I saved almost $200, got exactly what I ordered, and in record time. I am now stalking the site for my next purchase. VERY IMPRESSED!

I bought a bag for 2,5000 it arrived heavily creased. The site says that if the item is damaged it can b e returned. Their idea of damage is rip or scratch not severe creases in the leather which may have deen done in transit or it may have been the way they stored the item. If you spend thsat much money you want to arrive in brand new condition

I entered my order and then immediately realized I forgot to enter my discount code. I emailed literally minutes after placing the order and they refuse to honor the discount, contending that they are unable to do so. Really? Unable? There's no possible means of correcting my order? Absolute and total BS. I have had this happen with other sites, including HauteLook (which is owned by Nordstrom, and that probably explains why its customer service is great and NOTHING like crappy Gilt) and they ALWAYS give me the discount. Will NEVER use this site again!

I have purchased two large orders from Gilt. I bought two different perfumes from Gilt and both are fake! I have worn Angel by Terry MUGLER for years and when I saw it for 100 dollars a bottle I bought one. This is not real Angel perfume! It is a diluted knock off! The real perfume lasts for days and you can still smell it in your clothes. The one I received last a few hours and doesn't even smell close to being real. I am not happy at all with them and will never buy from them ever again! Beware!

I would have accessed the Gilt Support or Live Chat, but unfortunately it was closed for the evening as I submitted the order after midnight.

I placed my order without checking the reviews, and I was a little worry, to the point that I called customer service to track my order. Long story short... My lumber up boots arrived on Wednesday when they said Friday the latest and they are in perfect conditions, thank you GILT!

Hi, I am in Australia and purchase from Gilt. Have been pretty happy with some of the clothes I have purchased, fortunately I know my US size. The other thing I like is that it was easy to call them via telephone when I got a different colour of a Rachel Pally dress I ordered, I told them it was not a colour I would wear. I was concerned due to their 'no return policy'. However was really surprised when the girl said no problem, she could see that I was sent the wrong colour and said unfortunately there were no more in the colour I wanted. So I asked if they could arrange postage so I could return the dress, she said no don't worry, "Keep the dress anyway" and they would credit my account back with the cash I paid. AND they did! Great as this colour suits my sister-in-law, so she gets it and is very happy! Makes me one happy customer and a 'popular' sister-in-law!

Bought a voucher from the website. Called and was told they do not provide the service any more. Contact Gilt and requested refund, who insisted to refund to the credit card I used for the purchase, which I have canceled a while ago. I was insured the refund will come. My bank told me they will not accept this refund and returned the money to gilt two days after receiving the refund. I contacted gilt numerous times after hearing from my bank but was completely ignored. No response, nothing at all.

I had accidentally placed an order while checking the total price of an item with a promo code. There was no cancel button option so I hurriedly emailed customer service to ask for the order to be canceled (this happened after reg office hrs. And I had no option to speak to a live CS rep). I was in a bit of a panic as I was not sure if somebody would be able to read my email immediately. I *******@giltservice a tweet as well, but saw in my inbox that the CS team had already emailed me back to inform me the order had been successfully canceled! Very pleased with the Customer Service I received tonight. Thank you Gilt!

They cancelled my order, locked my accounts and made no attempt whatsoever to contact me... all because I put a new shipping address for my order!
After contacting customer service and waiting 20 minutes on hold, a supervisor mumbled "a new address is the same as fraud and we have the right to close an account and cancel an order for any reason, which you agreed to when you signed up". When asked why they wouldn't simply contact the customer (me) to verify the information, I was told "We will never attempt to contact the customer because the contact information we have on file could be the fraudulent person's".
Are you kidding me? Give me a break. By far the absolute worst customer service I have experienced, next to Comcast.

I ordered an item on guilt and before I ordered I removed my old address and set my new address as a default address. They send my order to the wrong address. When I called they said that their was nothing she could do for me because it was sent already. I asked to a manger and the manager was very rude and told me the same thing. After I got very upset on the phone and explained that I had the right address on the website he put me on hold for 20 minutes. He then told me that he would refund me but if it ever happened again he will not refund the next time! Their was no apology or acknowledgement that they messed up and not me! I ended up o the phone for over 1 hour

I bought a pair of lamps. The drum shades are much different in color and textile vs the picture of the product presented on the site.
I wanted to talk to a supervisor to return the product. Because they don't want to return they declared the product I received is identical to what is shown on the website. These evaluations are subjective. To me they are not. I have been calling them in the last 4 days, they don't let me talk to a supervisor, they only apologize for not being able to do more and don't accept the return.
Is that the right way to treat consumers? Is this how Gilt wants to satisfy the consumers?

Impressive website but that's where it stops. VERY limited inventory tell sells out immediately. Not an option for a working professional who is not at a keyboard to grab an item at exactly 10am CT. No option for free/discounted shipping. Outrageous charges for returns. Money kept hostage when an item is returned for "credit." No returns to an original form of payment. No future for this company.

Gilt has a totally costumer unfriendly return policy. Only Shoes and Clothes are returnable and only for store credit. On top of that shipping costs are unbelievably high. Be aware, what seems to be a good deal at first glance can turn out to be a cost and hassle nightmare. Sorrz, this was the last time I was shopping at Gilt group!

I had to call GILT today regarding my order. I mistakenly put in the shipping to the wrong address. When I emailed them, they said they were happy to change the address via a phone call, but the Customer Service rep said that they can't make any changes to orders at this time. This is not the first time I had customer service issues with GILT. I only shopped here again because I had a credit from a previous customer service issue. I will not shop here anymore. Not worth the headache to deal with such poor customer service.

I was trying to purchase an item on my phone, but there was an item already in my cart that I was trying to delete. I tried to go back to the previews screen because there was no delete button and it automatically placed the order with both items.
I immediately tried to cancel and pressed the cancel button 3 times and nothing happened. I pick up my computer and wrote Gilt an email explaining what happened and to please cancel the order.
I received an email saying: They were sorry for my disappointment, but I have just 5 minutes to cancel the order. I called and after 20 minutes on the phone, I was able to get, you can return and we will give you a credit but no refunds.
I spend more than that a week at Gilt. The money is not the issue. The issue is the absurdity, that they will punish you for a faulty website.

This is not the first time GILT has messed up refunding $$ for returned items. Recently I returned 2 items on 08/02/19. Delivery confirmation from THEIR label was 08/06/19 at 1:34 pm in Chicago Ill. It is now 08/13/19 and still NO REFUND despite using the "Customer Service" (what a joke!) portal to send messages regarding my refund. I called their contact number. The agent "Marie" said she couldn't find my return. I waited and waited. She finally located the return info and said it was received on 08/10th! Marie said the warehouse is in Texas! The mailing confirmation said it was delivered to Chicago on 08/06! This is a horrible company to use. Stay away!

I ordered an item on line, received confirmation that the order was accepted, only two receive an email later in the day that they could not fulfill the order. I check the website again, see that the item is still showing available, go through the order process again, only to get the same email later that they can't fulfill the order. Then I go on, order the item in a different color only to receive the wrong item. I checked their website and check - the order acknowledgement was for the shirt I ordered, not the shirt they sent. Then I have to jump through hoops to get a refund.

I purchased a Rebecca Minkoff wallet for $45. On Gilt it said was originally $85, but when I got the wallet, the actual RM wallet tag said $39. Now, it's not a huge price difference, and I don't mind paying $45, but what I DO mind is the dishonest claim that the wallet originally cost $85. People shop at Gilt thinking they are getting a deal, but in reality Gilt often claims that the original prices of items are much higher than they actually are--just to make people think they're getting a deal. In reality, Gilt marks many items higher than they were originally priced. It's pretty shady. And given how high their shipping costs are, it makes more sense to shop at sales at places like Nordstrom.com or Shopbop.com, where you get the best prices and free shipping.

After shopping a few times and going through all the hassels just to cancel and return my orders at Gilt, I decided not to buy anything from this website anymore and found them not trustworthy. Make sure you do research before you purchase anything from that awful website! They often deceive people that they are selling stuffs at a hugh discount price but often they sell stuffs at a retail price or very slightly cheaper than retail, sometimes even more expensive. For example currently they are selling a "vintage" in other word, used LV backpack at $2299 and it is listed at $2370 on official LV website. It is such a ripoff and it took me so many hours to cancel my final sale order and they kept saying there are nothing they could do but they eventually cancelled my order which proved that they could easily cancel it and made me go thru so many phone calls and hours of chatting... Dont buy anything from Gilt.
