This is a fun site. It seems that there are great deals to be had. But I ordered an oriental style rug described as 100% wool. When it arrived it was almost threadbare, of poor quality and non-returnable. Won't do that again.

They advertised the red rouge bottle. I received some remake fake yellow stuff... And I paid $12 shipping. It is a scam... beware... see pics below... i am pretty good in detecting scams and did not detect this one. Because they did seem legit, but sent counterfeit product. Konstantin

Think twice before you buy anything! I have been waiting for 3 weeks to receive a credit back to my card for a return. I have called five times and they are blaming the credit card company! They are the worst!

Misleading product description where it seems I was biying a stroller but instead it was just an attachment to the stroller.
No refund policy = I lost $150
I'm never buying from them again and am proactively telling friends to do the same.

They're great. And they fit my feet well. They are very comfortable and the quality is great. They are so cute and stylish that I can wear them with any outfit. They are comfortable to wear all day long.

The customer service is poor they don't stand behind their products. I ordered a lapis bracelt the quality was very diffrent than the website and horrible in person. They would not exchange for a store credit. They also would not honor a discount they sent me after it expired when it was a problem on there side they did not resolve in time. I would suggest shopping some place that cares about its customer.

Tip for consumers:
They offer inconsitantanty in the product they sell, many items are not returnable. Online venders need to offer a return for a store credi when thei happens. This is poor business

I love shopping with Guilt because of the unreal customer service they provide no matter what the cost of the purchase was. Shauna ODonoghue replied so fast to my issue. This is the reason I'm never afraid when I make a big purchase such as Lagos or Lauren Wolf, to designer ties or even just a scented diffuser. They stand by what ever they sell and will go above any other site to make you happy. This is the reason I feel secure in any purchase I make.
Shauna is a keeper and why I keep shopping with Guilt, no matter what you buy the site makes you feel valued which is rare in shopping online or in store.
I think I have been shopping for years here and plan to return every time I'm looking to purchase for myself or a gift.

Stay away from this site. I ordered a towel set but got the wrong item twice. Originally ordered a Hewson towel set but received a Waffle Terry, instead. Then I decided to kept the waffle terry to save me the hassle of returning it. I decided to purchase the Hewson towel set again for the second time hoping they will get it right this time, since I let them know what happened the first time. But guess what after the second order for the Hewson set, They send the Waffle Terry for the second time again!. Wow! What a joke right?. Stay away!

Gilt USED to have good quality products back in the day, but it's clear that they are no longer the same kind of company they used to be. I bought a suit from them which was advertised as being "100% wool" and claimed the sizing ran small. I ordered my regular size for suits as I've done for years with all sorts of designers. I received my suit, it was NOT 100% wool as advertised, in fact it was mostly polyester blend, and the sizing was RIDICULOUS. This suit was nearly 3-4 sizes too large, I was swimming in it! And because it was a final sale I am stuck with a worthless, cheap suit which would probably cost MORE to get tailored than what I paid for the actual suit. I'll never order from this crooked company again.

I've been ordering Predire Paris skin care from Gilt and I've been using the products for about 4 months.
I am extremely disappointed, the products are not real Predire Paris, I now have bumps all over my face. The collagen serum smells like a men's cologne and I swear the Vitamin A and Collagen serum are the ones that made break out. I won't be ordering these knockoffs anymore ever again, my skin is suffering right now just because people want to make a quick and easy buck.

$1 usd = 57 philippine peso in our country.
In their site which uses automatic FOREX which you have no option to pay in USD, they will charge you $1 USD = 74 philippine peso. Many have fallen to their scam with their so called "no hidden fees" Well this is it! They have their own super overpriced foreign exchange rates!

BELIEVE ALL THE REVIEWS YOU READ! Company is a total scam! Ordered (4) dresses a month ago for delivery tomorrow. Today they have inventory problems and cancelled my order. Did give me a $25 credit... as if I'd ever shop there again! Horrible customer service as well!

I received the wrong color scarf and I wrote an email explaining how I had received the incorrect item. Since the color I had originally ordered was no longer available, I was offered two options. I could either return the scarf for a full refund or be issued a partial refund. I opted for the partial refund and kept the scarf. My issue was very easily resolved.

I was underimpressed with the level of quality and professionalism with this program. For 1/5 of that price you could go to a real school where you can actually get certified and not just handed a piece of paper (If you're lucky!). Go to a real school where the atheist instructor won't attack you and the administrators will actually call you back. Don't waste 15,000.00. Instead spend a few thousand and get certified at a REAL school! Look into it before you make that jump! Don't be a fool.

Tip for consumers:
Look into other REAL schools where you can actually get a certification as a veterinary assistant. That will go a lot farther in your job hunt as well as your pay. Not to mention, you spend about a fifth of what they would charge you at Great Lakes. Look before you leap!

Disgusting, I ordered products from Predire, of course it was a device included in the set, it never reached me, the creams look disgusting, some odorless, and no barcode, too late I realized they were fooled.
When a product is priced too low, you need to ask yourself a few questions:
- Where does that product come from?
- What profit does the seller have?
If someone sells a set of Peliere cream for $ 100 and the initial layer was 3,000 ", ask yourself what the production cost is and what the seller's profit is. I don't think a Peliere cream is made for $ 450, and the seller will sell it to you for $ 50 just because the creams have been returned or have a short shelf life, there is no such thing, where is the profit?

I sent the following comment to GILT and am awating a response: I have an issue with the return policy on reduced items. Regardless of whether the item is at its lowest price, the consumer still has no way to determine whether or not it is going to fit. It would be a favorable policy for GILT if they offered a return on all items. I

MOST UNTRUSTWORTHY COMPANY EVER!
I wish I had seen SiteJabber before buying from this company. They are very dishonest. As other posters have indicated they engage in false and misleading product description. They have refused to accept a return of the product and further even refused to provide a manager contact when I requested an escalation of my compliant. Based on this product description:
"Astor Sofa Set:
Set of two sofas
Durable powder-coated cast aluminum frame construction"
I purchased the product. What they delivered was 2 halves of one sofa which have to be connected by with a clip to create one sofa. Their rep said 'each piece is a sofa.' Apparently in Gilt math 2x. 5 = 2. If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I encourage everyone to report them to the NY Attorney General's Office. When enough complaints build-up they will be investigated and hopefully shut down.

Tip for consumers:
Don't shop there. The false production description will mislead you into buying over-priced products which you can find elsewhere at MUCH cheaper prices.

I love Gilt. They have awesome products at incredible prices. I have bought everything from clothing and shoes to home and beauty products from them and I have never been disappointed. The quality of the products is superb and the delivery is quick and easy. Gilt is a trustworthy and reliable site.

I have had two bad experiences with this site and I would recommend that everyone else stay away. The first was the purchase of a coupon to use for salon services. I was unable to reach anyone at the salon by phone or email. Prior to the coupon expiration (It cost $175!) I contacted Gilt. They obviously had no luck either but only would give me a Gilt credit for $175. I think I should receive a full refund and I'm disputing it with my credit card company.
The second issue came with an ordered item; they sent the wrong color even though they confirmed the color I had ordered. When I wrote to complain, they offered me a $50 discount. Ok, but I declined. However, when I returned the item they didn't credit my return to my credit card promptly. I had to write to them to complain and only then my refund was received by the credit card company.
Personally, I think they are running a scam and trying to see how much they can get away with. I wouldn't shop with them again.

A promotion was sent to me via email but it came in a day late and then the terms of when it could be used and when it expired were not clearly displayed so I ordered the items listed thinking I would get an extra 30% off but I was a day late and the promotion had expired. It was supposed to run from 8/1-8/3 and I received the email on 8/2 and then tried to use the coupon on 8/4. Customer service originally tried to offer me a 15% discount on my NEXT purchase but I felt that I should have gotten it on this one and not be made to spend more money to get the savings that should have been applied to this order. After following up and excellating this to a manager it was finally resolved. Considering the savings was only $13.20 I felt that it should have been able to be resolved on the first contact.

I purchased 3 pairs of shoes within a 12 month period at a average price of $170. One of the purchases was a pair of $179 Millburn captoe oxford dress shoes which I wore approximately 10 times over a 5 month period - both shoes are peeling all along the edges of the tongue flaps and where you insert your foot. I wrote an email and spoke to a customer service rep requesting I return the shoe for inspection and verification that the sole will prove the shoes were only wore a handful of times and that poor quality was the reason for the return.

The company just continued to state their 21 day return policy and really did care about the quality concerns nor that I was a loyal customer.

Stay away at all costs, especially with their Gilt branded Millburn shores.

Have bought several pieces of jewellery from Gilt. Some have arrived in good shape but a few had a few issues. One in particular. I live in Canada and understood that they had a no return policy for Canada but I expecteded that if they sent an item with quality issues or damage that they would accept a return. I was not returning it because I changed my mind or because I did not like the item. However they refuse to accept a return. I did send them a picture of the item and noted that it was hard to see the damage (due to the finish on the item and the quality of my camera. Their customer service is a joke. All they do is send generic type e-mails reinforcing their no return policy. Seems Gilt views it's customers as problematic and not capable of telling te truth about quality problems. If you get an e-mail from them saying that they are so sorry you did not experience a wonderfully shopping experience with Gilt, laugh, because once they have your money they don't care any more.

I searched a type of MEN's golf shirt, it came up with several designs and I chose 2 different shirts. When they came in they were not a mens shirt they were YOUTH size. When I reached out to them they told me I could only return one of them. Then after communicating agreed to let me send them both back. I requested a refund. I sent them both back in the same package and they charged me $9.99 per shirt to return it. So no shirts and now I have to pay to return something that they sold misleading! I will NEVER shop with them again! NOT a good experience AT ALL!

Tip for consumers:
They products are misleading and I will not order from them again.

I sent all products back and only received a partial refund. Tags still on the product and never used.

Ordered a $600 Panega dresser. When taken out of the box, the hinge on one of the doors was damaged. Sent pictures for days, when contacted customer service they said they had no pictures. Took more pictures with brothers phone as well as emails. Received confirmation texts from Elizabeth from customer service with a reference number. Called customer service with inquiry number and text, they said they didn't have it. I was holding in my hand my iphone with the reply text. I Sent more emails and photos called back customer service and after a long wait was told i was emailed an offer of $50. I told them i never received an offer of $50 dollars. When asked when it was sent they said 1145, I was actually still talking to a rep at that point. I refused the $50 dollars and am waiting for this damaged product to be picked up. This is the new Gilt, good riddance.

Luxury my $#*!...

The jewelry I ordered showed up in 2 well-used ziplock baggies. No boxes. The stuff they have is not that great, really folks, it's run of the mill average

Don't think you are getting anything special at an amazing price. Don't be a schmuck!

If you're shopping clothes on the site sizes don't really mean anything... just like dept. stores... all different depending on mfgr. So... they now have about $200 of my monry that I can't get back and it may keep building higher until I find something of that value that fits! This is... in my opinion... stealing from the customer... very bad p. R... once I get down to near 0 I will never go to this site again... there are so many good ones w/high quality products that all you loose is return shipping charges. If that. I sugguest you think seriously before purchasing from Gilt.com

There are some good deals on this site but it takes FOREVER to get the stuff. I havent waited 5 weeks to receive an mail order package since sending cereal box tops in for prizes.

And the return policy is pretty jank as well. Half the stuff isnt even returnable. And none of the stuff is refundable. Read closeley.

Their customer service sucks too. You write them a letter asking where the item you forgot you ordered a month ago is and they take a week to reply.

This site has potential. They need to focus on the little things though. Take some pointers from Zappos!
