This is a fun site. It seems that there are great deals to be had. But I ordered an oriental style rug described as 100% wool. When it arrived it was almost threadbare, of poor quality and non-returnable. Won't do that again.
They advertised the red rouge bottle. I received some remake fake yellow stuff... And I paid $12 shipping. It is a scam... beware... see pics below... i am pretty good in detecting scams and did not detect this one. Because they did seem legit, but sent counterfeit product. Konstantin
They sent the wrong item and have done nothing to remedy it. They refuse to acknowledge that the item I ordered has not arrived. Every email I sent is responded with a generic text simply about returning the wrong item back... What about what I ordered?!
The customer service is terrible. I bought their full year of free shipping and now I regret it. I hate giving business to companies who do not care for their customers.

There are good finds, but the customer service is terrible. There are companies that offer the same with better customer service. I do not want to give my money to companies that do not value their customers.

Their customer service is the worst. They only accept returns and only for store credit. They are very unwilling to help a customer. I am always "indebted" to them with store credits if I return something and forced to spend my money on their website until I use up the credit.
I have ordered jewelry too only to have it arrive in pieces and they refuse to accept the return even when it was not properly packaged or shipped.
I have never dealt with such terrible service. I am so glad to see so many others with the same problems.
Nothing but good experiences with Gilt! I have been a member for over a year and have purchased many items through them. Shipping can be slow, but anytime I have contacted them about an order I haven't had any issues. Love their selection at affordable prices!
I ordered a Kate Spade wallet (sale item) on 23 Aug 18, it costed me 9. XX dollar for the US shipping and I just waited it to ship forever. Also I only got 1 confirmation email since I purchased the item. It said it will be shipped on 3 Sept. Fine, I wait.
Today (3 Sep) I logged in my account to check the status, and it showed my order had been cancelled!? They had nothing to explain and I didn't receive any email for the cancellation! It seems like they haven't cost any money from my visa but again the card company did send me a sms for the authority for the Gilt, so I don't know! Now I just hope they will not withdrew any money from my Visa, I must keep an eye on it. Worst online shopping experience ever!
Horrible customer service. Their online support is a joke, they take forever to respond and all they do is regurgitate what's on the site. 30 days to process my order... seriously? And they're unapologetic about it. In today's market of customer service, Gilt is woefully behind compared to it's competition. DO NOT BUY FROM GILT!
The tracking system said that my package had been delivered, but it was no where to be found. Gilt Customer Service was amazing. I emailed the team and within 24 hours I received a response with a solution that better than expected. The Customer Support team is attentive, helpful, and have customer satisfaction in mind!
I purchased a pair of sandals from this site. I knew they were final sale however when I received them, they looked nothing like the photo of the shoes on the website. I called to ask to at least be able to return them for a credit. They refused (even after seeing I've purchased numerous time from them) and now I am stuck with shoes that look nothing like what I thought I was getting. Be careful purchasing from this site and I would never again purchase a final sale item.
I feel Like being SCAM by the GILT site, I ordered two items that stated to be 40% off, instead I got only one item for 40% off. Then I turned to the customer service. They offered an $60 code to me which is meaningless when the they always have a $50 code once per month. I am really disappointed. Afterwards I asked them to make it a credit so i can combine discount so that make sense my $60 would be worth it. They refused and told me it was impossible to undo, the code has given to me. I think this is absolutely ridiculous, who the hell on earth would trust them if the code cannot be undone?

I recently had an old address stored and a few items got delivered there. The old landlord had the items but was not very cooperative getting them back to me. The customer service was great, offering me multiple solutions to try to facilitate the process. I liked being able to use the online chat and not deal with phones and being placed on hold. In the end a "Laura S." helped me resolve it satisfactorily. Thanks Gilt.
I purchased a sweater on April 12,2015 and was promised delivery by no later than May 4,2015. May 4th has come and gone-no sweater! I emailed them and told them to cancel the order. I received a reply the next day telling me that my order had been cancelled. No apologies or anything-just 'we cancelled your order'. I am done with them- I do not like doing business with stores that do not have a flexible return policy anyway!
I am a long time customer of Gilt. In fact, I have been with them since they began. Again and Again the support I get have been hands down one of the best. Today, I spoke to Liam and he was very nice and delivered on my request. I just wanted to let you guys know that it is always a pleasure being one of your customers and interacting with your support team and people like Liam.

Charged me once when I purchased shoes from them and then again when they shipped. Called them and they stated the other charge should fall off in 3-5 business days!? I have never had this happen with any other online site. This is my first and last time I will buy anything from GILT.
I buy from this site every 2-3 months. They usually have good deals and I particularly like their deals on toys and kids clothes. Their shipping is very fast, you only have to be careful with non-returnable items as once they ship you cannot change the order anymore. Unfortunately they do not ship big items internationally so I sometimes miss out on great deals:)
Their customer service is ok, some people are great and understanding and others not so much so thats why I only give them a three for service. It really depends on who you are dealing with.
So far I never had issues with the stuff I bought, They are in impeccable condition and are exactly what I expected. If the size is wrong you send it back and if they have stock they will send another size or give store credit.
I just had a very positive experience with gilt.com. I had ordered two twin bedding sets, but only one arrived. Customer service was quick to understand that I had two twin beds to outfit and just one set would not work, so they sent me a return mailing label, reversed my credit card charge AND gave me store credit for the inconvenience. Be polite to the customer service reps and they will be more than fair to you.

I recently contacted support for Gilt Groupe to ask them to return a chair that was supposed to be non-returnable, but was defective.
Andrew in Customer Service was so easy to work with and a really great communicator. He helped resolve the issue quickly.

I actually like the merchandise on this site and have purchased previously. However this instance I like an item that was out of stock sent it to me with no prior notice! Sent it to an old address in my address book...
And have been declining my return with my credit card company. The worst customer service when you need to use, as I never had to do previously.

I ordered 5 rings from Gilt. They use FedEx in Berlin Wisconsin. The orders are 100% delayed. The delivery date they give is never on time always 5 to 7 days later than what you are told. Why they use FedEx god only knows. I use the USPS and so does Saks Off Fifth and I ordered the same jewelry and received it 5 days before my Gilt orders and they use the good old post office... US mail! I won't order from Gilt anymore because of this. If you Google FedEx in Berlin Wisconsin which is where Gilt orders process through. Read the terrible reviews for delivery not one good one.
Have been shopping with Gilt since inception. Products have been on and off but company was stellar and treated me very well. Not a big complainer. But somehow always trusted the business ethic of Gilt. Until today. Purchased couch. Delivery guys bolted prior to tip, signature or inspection. No one asked my name they tried to deliver my package to another address.
Faulty furniture. AKA: garbage! Delivery guys didn't even get s signature? Customer useless department denied any type of resolution as did 3 chat idiots.

Mention of same and I wished to cancel. I was told that refund would occur in 4/5 days. The next day I was noted that it was not refundable! I then tried to exercise the voucher sent and response was it was sold out. Customer service is ignorant, dishonest or both. I will dispute this with my credit card co.
Stay away from GILT is my advice.

I am one of the many Noir members, who used to be biggest fans of the website.
I have purchased two pairs of Ferragamo watches as gifts for my two sisters. They did love it!
However, after only 2-3 months of wear both watches broke - the pin fell out, resulting in half of the leather band detach. What are the chances that this happens to two pairs of watches in different countries? They were clearly defective.
Ferragamo boutique has refused to take it for service - contact the third party, they said - because the watches came in beautiful boxes, but without stamped warranty.
I have reached out to Gilt customer service and I am hoping they will try to resolve the issue. Will reach out after they come back to me

Since I reveiwed My Habit and Haute Look I'll review Gilt too... there's not much to complain about with them. Their customer service is top notch. I receive my items in a very timely manner. When I do have to return something it's so easy and you have options of either receiving a credit to be used on a future item(s) or getting your $$ back (don't really like that they deduct a fee for the latter but eh, whatever). They're still my fave.
Gilt.com definitely has some great deals but I wouldn't recommend shopping with them unless you're willing to wait a decade for your merchandise to arrive! I ordered a dress two weeks ago and it still hasn't even SHIPPED. I can't track it or look into the status of the order. It's absurd. At this rate my summer dress will arrive in time for Christmas. I emailed customer service and they simply said that items ship directly from the seller so they have no control over the timing of anything. In my opinion that's very poor business structure. I also don't love their returns 'for credit only' policy. That's simply not customer friendly. If I want discounted designer items I'll stick with the many other discount websites that are out there with far better service and delivery.
Gilt Customer Service doesn't respond to concerns, they answer with a pre written text about what Gilt is, which has nothing to do with the original question.
I don't like Gilts Return management. "Pay return shipping or keep the money on the account... I will spend this money and then I will move to another Company.

Purchased an Ember gold ring on Dec 6th and received order confirmation stating they'd notify me once it shipped from USA to UK. Noting 'Borderfree?' on this I did some googling around and was immediately worried...they are dodgy at best - almost as dire as Gilt. Tonight received an email from them telling me it's been delivered?! On checking the fedex track it states that item arrived at a destination in Illinois! Instead of coming to me in the UK. Cannot get hold of a human being at either scam outfit, ie Gilt or Borderfree. Notified bank. Thank you to SANTANDER for helping me with this. Avoid both of the alleged companies like the plague. How they are allowed to get away with this is utterly shocking.
