I used only several time while action bidding at eBay. It is very useful and simple to use. I'm sure that wasn't my last experience of using it.

The Malware found by the first reviewer must have been from something else in his system. I've been on eBay for 15yrs, using Gixen for more than four years, and have never had any sort of malware or malware alert with it (I use the full version of Bit Defender and Malwarebytes.)
It's free to use and the single bid wil work fine nearly all the time, but the $6/yr buys you a backup bid from a separate server in another network, so even if your single bid fails (servers are not 100% reliable) the backup puts your bid in anyway.
I'm using snipes and programs for years!
Since I found Gixen, I use only that. No problems, no wasting time... Easy and friendly page! The perfect online snipe ever!

I have found Gixen a safe and reliable eBay sniping tool. I have been using it for a few years and had no problems. It appears quite secure and I have suffered no security issues. Sniping is good and efficient. You can either use it as free software or pay a $6 annual fee which gives you the extra "Mirror" features. These extras features above the basis eBay sniping service are:

It is the multi-server aspect that makes paying the extra $6 well worthwhile. With the snipe being sent from 2 locations I do not recall having a snipe not being made.
There is no need for extra software in your PC. There is also a plugin for Firefox which makes adding snipes a little easier.
I use it regularly and would recommend it as the best sniper I have found.
I've never lost an auction with Gixen. Couldn't be happier. Its FREE! However if you need the subscription like I do then its only a measly 6 bucks a year! It might as well be free for that price.
I have been a paid Gixen user for over three and a half years, and a free user before that. Easy to use. Never a problem. Good reporting of system issues when they occur. Many successful bids.
I've been using this site for years to snipe bids and it has more than once payed for itself. While simple, it does what it does very well and I highly recommend!
Gixen is a good, reliable sniping service. I use it often. It even works for international auctions (which is not true of all sniping services). Worth every penny!
