Let me tell you about my experience with Global Auto Auctions. At first I was hesitant to purchase a vehicle online especially a salvage vehicle with extensive damage. I took my time I did my homework and I spoke to the representatives numerous times. I had to place bids on over 20 vehicles before I was actually able to buy one. It took the transporter about a week to get the vehicle to me and I received the title in about two to three weeks after my purchase. I purchased a 2019 BMW M4 with some fire damage, it had some scratches which I did not notice but the vehicle overall was a steal for the price I paid for it. I am writing this review to let everyone know take your time with searching for a vehicle, do your home work on parts, and repairs. Global Auto Auctions just provides a service and gives you access to dealer only and insurance company auctions. They are good to work with, I see a few reviews of customers being upset but that is part of this industry. I have read some of the reviews of their competitors and it seems like a systematic industry problem. Global Auto Auctions was very fair with me and I will use their services again.
Nice and great performance attention during my conversation/chat with the customer agent representative.
She'd take her time to explain/analyze the detail of importing a car.
And it's really helpful.
Thank you.
Thank you for posting a positive review! We appreciate your business and value your feedback. Please let us know if we can assist in any other way.
1.they'll ask you your max bid. Your vehicle will close for much less; they will pocket the extra of your max bid, and by some miracle, you will end up paying your absolute max bid price for your car... (usually when a salvage auction ends, the seller will negotiate a final price with YOU (via your broker), and your broker calls you to ASK for YOUR PERMISSION to come up in price. Not with G.A.A.
2.they salvaged out my clean-titled vehicle on their paperwork, and then did not correct it. They cost me hours of government inspection appointments to rebuild A CLEAN-TITLED CAR, not to mention the fact that I lost about 20% value on my vehicle. They ignored my calls. I don't fault a business for an error, but if you're not willing to take responsibility and CLEAN UP YOUR ERROR, that is despicable.
So in sum, I paid my max price for my clean-titled vehicle, they salvaged it out, and then did not clean up their mess. 2 (big) hits, and no mea culpa or help. DO. NOT. BUY. A. CAR. WITH. THESE. PEOPLE.
NEVER AGAIN... I have bought many, MANY salvage cars at auction. I was hoping to use G.A.A. To save on broker fees, since they are a unique dealer/broker where you can buy from BOTH Copart AND IAA auctions. NEVER AGAIN.

These people require you to deposit money to bid, nothing unusual about that. When I won a bid with representative Alexis on the phone, I deposit more money to cover the fees to reach their "24 hour deadline", cool. I go on vacation for my birthday and come back to learn my bank held my funds, no one calls, my bank nor GAA. This guy from their "financial department" calls me to say "we haven't received your funds, you almost cost us our license so we have to deduct $600 for a relisting fee". I immediately request a FULL refund and say I'm not paying that because I did my part in 24 hours WITH receipts, they say okay and ask for my billing address. I comply. This was 2/17/21. I still don't have my money. Leave these people alone.
So you will always win your bid with 400 -1000 dollars then they call you in the morning and say the insurance didn't except they want atleast half the price of the car or vehicle, what a joke happened to me twice same thing scam
We strongly urge customers to read our "How To Buy" section https://www.globalautoauctions.com/how-to-buy. We do not capture customer deposits and you need to be realistic with your expectations. We are unable to acquire "Ferraris" for $4,000 with a $400 deposit. The insurance companies are not going to accept bids/offers they all require minimum bids. No one scammed you, if you are owed a refund please contact info@globalautoauctions.com. We are sorry we could not assist in helping you acquire a vehicle. We have the best prices in the country. Good luck!
I made a bid for a vehicle of $10,000. Then I got a call back from a guy named Tom telling me that I had to raise it up to the listing price of 13,300. Obviously it is not an auction because they're having me to pay the listing price so they're fooling you. Then another person that is not very friendly. He's very rude. His name is Jerry. He started charging me storage fees because I would not use his Transporter. I do not recommend to deal with this company because they have a lot of complaints about them bad reviews and they have a lot of complaints with the Better Business Bureau. You need to Google this information before you even buy a car from them. I started this bid on April 4 and today is the 17 and they finally by tomorrow. I'm going to have the car picked up now they tell me the car doesn't start and the car does not run. Beware. Global Auto Auctions sold me a car that does not run nor starts I paid $14,454 then I asked for a refund and Jerry said no I don't qualify for a refund.

I have purchased three vehicles through global Auto auctions. I export vehicles from the US to my country. I have used other services in the past and they provide no guidance. I am very happy with the level of service GAA provides thank you
Thank you for your business. Looking forward to working with you again in the near future.
Beware of this website. When I called their customer service the Representative did not sound like he was in the United States despite claiming to be located in TX. He did his best to answer questions about how the company works but when I questioned where he was located, he became agitated and hung up on me.
We are a U. S Based company and do outsource the over flow of calls to call centers after hours. Feel free to call during business hours 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and we would be more than glad to explain our process.
Don't ever deal with this company {Global Auto Auctions) They take my money for deposit and never give it back and its over one year going back and forth with jerry. ITs rip off.

So I noticed the site has salvaged and damaged cars for cheap so I was looking for a 2019 impala same model as mine for pieces. This site want me to pay $5,000 over the blue book value on a salvaged title car when I have the same car with no damage and less mileage? I was contacted by a supervisor from from global auto auction asking to increase my bid to $ 9,000 I said no quickly due to the fact I have the same vehicle and know the Kelly blue book. Next thing I know my account is banned? I contact immediately finding out why and I'm told because I'm a low baller? I'm a low baller for refusing to pay $10,000 for a salvaged car that needs more than $8,000 in damage to fix and the blue book on an impala in said condition is in $2,500? Crooks I advise everyone stayyyyyy far away from these people. I showed the kbb value of my car in perfect condition? How in the world would they expect 8,000 for a salvaged car when brand new perfect condition it's under 8,000? And I have the car now I cannot trade it in for $8,000. Lmao what a joke
Global Auto Auctions have been in the industry for close to two decades. We do not own or possess these cars, in fact these vehicles are located nationwide which are stored on a member-dealer only facility, they are not open to the public. Since we are licensed and bonded, we made it open to the public and we are helping insurance companies find buyers for their vehicles. If you are still interested to purchase salvage vehicles, you might want to give us a chance. Thank you!
