In February 2025, I booked 2 plane tickets for my family through Gotogate. In March, I contacted their customer service to change the travel dates, paid over $300 in change fees, and received a confirmation that the modification was successful. Based on that confirmation, I purchased a third ticket on the same new dates, spending an additional $$$. Then, almost a month later, Gotogate informed me that they couldn't process the changes after all. No explanation. No refund. No real apology. Just cold, generic emails and useless alternatives. To recap:

I was left with 3 unusable tickets and no solution. What followed was a disgraceful loop of canned replies, contradictory information, and total lack of accountability. I filed a formal dispute through my bank and Gotogate responded with false claims, saying the service was provided β despite clear proof to the contrary. My dispute was rejected. The emotional and logistical toll this situation has taken is massive. I spent weeks chasing answers, unable to rebook travel, constantly anxious, and repeatedly dismissed by their so-called customer service. To this day, I have not received a single cent back. Gotogate has not acknowledged their failure, nor offered any compensation β not even a partial refund. I now have to resort to: Filing complaints with consumer protection authorities in France and other European authorities now. Publishing this review to warn others: do not trust this company. They will take your money, fail to deliver, and hide behind vague terms and conditions while pretending it's not their fault. This isn't just bad service β it's dishonest and exploitative.
