I booked 2 tickets from South Africa to France on Air Algerie through Gotogate in about June 2024. Flight departing mid September. The flight was cancelled by the Airline on 17 August. Their refund policy stated 15 working days. This was 6 weeks ago and no refund has been received. The reason now given is that I was a "no show"! There are currently no Air Algerie flights to South Africa, so it would be difficult to be a "no show" if there are no aircraft! Gotogate keep fobbing me off with excuses. My advice - do not book through Gotogate if you want a refund if the airline cancels the flight. They should just be transparent and tell you upfront - no refunds on this flight for whatever reason. I am going to pursue this further.
Too much extra services on the payment way, better to check out all process and explain better all services. I don't see any value in this messages:

Very easy to book my flight to Rome with Go to the Gate, this is my first time using the service I hope to continue using them in the future.
Mid way through the booking I was informed that the flight was no longer available.
Also, I feel you should provide an option if the user would like to opt in for any options like insurance or support or any other optional ones. This makes the booking much faster. I spent a lot of time negating things and then when I was almost done it said flights no longer available.
I was able to book my flight without any difficulty, easy site, easy quick payment and receiving your booking information
You charge for each thing, isn't right, even for checking in or send a email.

I booked a trip using GotoGate. It seemed easier than dealing with Frontier's website at the time. Gotogate offered flexible booking and charged me extra for the ability to rebook with them up to 24 hours before the departure. When I tried to rebook I waited for an hour in a live chat qeue just to be told the operator would need to escalate the case because they could not do it. Two days later I get an email saying that I needed to call because of the complexity of rebooking it could not be done by chat. I called, waited for 1 hour and had to hang up. Called again, this time I endured a two hours wait. Long story short phone person also had to escalate. Several days of follow ups by chat and asking for a supervisor I got a call saying that the airline does not allow agencies to rebook. Being charged for a service they couldnt provide bothered me but not as much as having wasted so much time to find out. They could have just told me that the first day. I would still be upset about being deceived and scammed but I probably wouldnt feel the need to come here and leave a review. They wouldnt give me a refund or anything. I went directly to the airline and solved my problem in minutes. It ended up costing me the money I thought I was saving with Gotogate but Ive learned my lesson wont trust an agency again.
I was trying to book a flight, and they steal my information. I booked twice " apparently". When I noticed because my bank send me an alert. I contact them. They were not able to give mw the money back. Or even cancel, they waste my time because I spent 3 hours!
So advise, be careful at the moment putting your info.

It takes a minute to get used to finding the "continue" key when booking a flight. Other than that, every trap within the reservation process pretty much prepares me to comfortably navigate the site -- it feels like going trough duty free at the airport. 🙃🙃 you'll get there, eventually.
What the hell trying to scramble now to find other travel plans because tickets got refunded for no reason. I already made hotel and car booking and everything now. I gotta find new air.

You didn't have Alaska Airlines as a partner to enter my frequent flyer information for these Qatar flights. You also hid the fact that I had to pay $103 per person to pick seats. That's not a good experience for me.

Worst experience and they try to nickel and dime you. I am fuming at the fact that I was charged So much to have my name changed on my ticket.
